The Everlasting Pokémon Journey

...Mr. You could sense your doubt in him. He begins to speak. "Listen, I know you don't know much about me, but please trust me when I say I won't let the Monster Overlord or his minions harm you or your friends. These aren't empty words. I was a protagonist of this thread, thus granting me nearly unlimited power. Even without them, I once became a Champion, twice when I was still a part of the original me. Even now in my weakened state, I'm still more than capable of erasing weaker monsters myself. And I loaned you my Pokemon to help you deal with the stronger ones. Please don't worry about your friends' safety. Don't worry about having to leave the school to fight monsters. Don't worry about me either. Just concentrate on your life and your education. Eventually, my full power will return, and I will be able to leave you in peace. Until then, just worry about your homework and let me and my Pokemon deal with the Monster Overlord and any trouble he or his minions cause." You thank Mr. You for his encouraging words. You then take out your notebook and begin working on your History homework.

The next morning...
 
...you wake early and ask Mr You about his adventures. He gives a remarkably detailed account of what he did and you are particularly interested in his account of meeting his wife Emma whom he clearly loves very much and the difficult decision he had to make to be with her.

You leave your room and see Ellen stood outside. 'Who were you talking to?' she asked.
'Just a friend.' You say. Your little Petilil bobs up and down happily on your shoulder.
Ellen tosses her hair and walks with you to class. You sit with Richie and Steve (Danielle is resting at home) as teacher Flannery hands the homework back. '100% well done Miss Ellen.' she says. Ellen smiles a little awkwardly at her perfect score being announced.

As Flannery gives the lesson on Fire types you notice...
 
...The rest of the lesson was pretty weird. She proceeded to stop teaching about Fire mons and proceeded to show a video about a father and son having custody over a Gastrodon and it ends with the father throwing his son into the minefeild. You tell the teacher to close that video and get a new one and she does as you say, but instead the video is now about a pro trainer who looked like a Weavile wiping to the Electric leader, and the trainer ended up pushing the leader out of the building.

You were curious why the teacher was showing so many violent videos, but then you had an idea. You quickly got to the teacher and stabbed her with a knife, revealing thatshe was actually being possesed by a ghost. Or possibly, the ghost of...
 
... an Eelektross who zaps you into a guy again as a last resort. Turns out that you were daydreaming again, goddammit! But your bizarre act on stabbing someone somehow made you remember about a certain creature that you really despise, and you pretty much take out anything sharp to murder it. You still don't recognize whatever thing that is. Back to the lesson, the teacher...
 
...looks at you and wonders why you are staring into space. You know that even though Mr You tells you not to worry you need to kill the Monster Overlord. 'I must help Mr You.' you yell. Flannery nearly loses her temper but calmly says 'Please see me after class young Sylvia.' Richie says he will wait for you.

After the class Flannery sits down and asks you how you know Mr You. 'I'm a big fan of his.' you hastily make up as an excuse. Flannery closes her eyes and says 'You are not the first girl to have her heart broken by Mr You but you must stop this fantasy or I may have to put you in detention.'
'I'm sorry Miss Flannery.' You say before leaving the class. She thinks you are just some lovesick kid but you know she cannot know the truth.

Richie is waiting outside just as he said he would be. Oddly he does not ask about Mr You and takes you for a romantic walk in the park where you see...
 
...a bench. The two of you decided to go and sit down and enjoy the veiw. However, once you jumped yourself onto the bench, you broke your back, and you had to be sent to the hospital immediately.

As you recovered, you had a mysterious feeling inside of you. Your mind turned angry, and you felt like punching someone in the face. Thankfully, your mom was there with you, and she comforted you to make sure her own sweet child won't be doing anything wrong. After you recovered, you decided to...
 
...visit a nearby park and let your Pokemon have fun. Your Eevee Eva and your Petilil Lily began running around while you sat on a nearby bench to watch them. Thankfully, the act of sitting on a bench doesn't cause you to break your back this time. You then see a wild Froakie bothering your Pokemon. You immediately run up to it and scream "Leave my Pokemon alone you foul abomination!" The Froakie runs away and immediately gets shot by a shotgun fired by an Officer Jenny that just happened to be there. After thanking Jenny for killing it, you pick up your Pokemon, enter a nearby bakery, and buy them some Poffins. As you leave the bakery, you see...
 
...Ellen carrying a pile of books. They seem to be too heavy for her so you offer to help her which she accepts. You notice one of the books is titled 'The Science of Pokemon Contests.' and another ' Pokemon Grooming for Beginners.' Not exactly sure why Ellen would need such books you say nothing until you arrive at her dorm. She says 'Thank You Sylvia.' whilst fixing her glasses. You note this is the first time she has called you by your name. You also wonder if when she says she is 'busy' she means she is studying.

You sit in your room and after playing with your Pokemon you see Mr You appear in the mirror. He says he is pleased you have recovered from your injury and also says...
 
... that tomorrow is the day where the Monthly Annual Competition actually starts. Maybe you want to sign up as well as a participant, who knows what reward will await for the winner. Eager, you...
 
...go to register for the competition. You see Richie, Danielle, and Ellen sign up as well. Ellen says to you "I'm not going to lost to the likes of you!" You reply "Funny. I was about to say the same thing!" You walk back to your room, when Eva suddenly pops out of her Ball. The Eevee asks you if you could help her evolve. You ask what she wants to evolve into. Eva says "Maybe not Leafeon. There's nothing wrong with it, but Lily's on the team and we don't need another Grass type." After thinking about it for a minute, the Eevee asks you to evolve her into...
 
...Sylveon to help deal with Fighting and Dragon types that will inevitably appear. You agree to this and the little Eevee lets out an excited cry as she starts to glow and evolves into an adorable pink Sylveon. You hug the little Eeveelution and feed her and your Petilil Pokebeans.

You decide to talk to Mr You before entering the tournament arena and he says...
 
...that it's probably not a good idea to use the Pokemon he lent you. His Delphox's level is higher than that of most Champions' Pokemon, so you'd win by a massive landslide. Most of the students here would still have unevolved Pokemon, so seeing you use a Delphox might be suspicious and may result in accusations of cheating and disqualification from the tournament. Instead, he recommends using your own Pokemon.You thank Mr. You and also tell him that you will not be asking him for help during the tournament and you'll win by yourself. Mr. You nods in approval. You then look at your current party. Petilil and Sylveon are great, but you wonder if there's enough time to add another Pokemon to your team. You decide to head to the nearby tall grass and you find a wild...
 
...Mon whom you couldn't recognise. You took out your Dex and tried to see check what it was, but no data was shown. It so happened to be an undiscovered Pokemon that possibly nobody knows about, and you happened to encounter it. You immediately weaken and catch it, and immediately call the professor and say that you are just caught an undiscovered Pokemon, and you will be comming to his lab shortly.

As you arrived at the professor's lab with the new Pokemon, the professor immediately comments that you just caught an extremely rare yet powerful species that nearly nobody even knows is a Pokemon. That undiscovered species was a...
 
...Dratini. Professor Beech tells you that this Pokemon is so rarely seen many people believe it is a mirage even though its existence was first documented around 20 years ago. She also reveals that her daughter Danielle has also caught a Dragon Type. Your Dratini is male and is happy to be on your team.

You play with your Pokemon who seem happy. As you continue to play with your Pokemon you notice...
 
...that your Dratini has Pokerus. Soon, it spreads to all of your Pokemon. You once read in one of your textbooks that Pokerus is not only harmless to your Pokemon, but extremely beneficial for EV training, since it doubles all EVs gained. You spend the next hour EV training your 3 Pokemon. Lily now has maximum Sp. Attack and Speed, Eva has maximum HP and Sp. Attack, and your Dratini has maximum Attack and Speed. Speaking of your Dratini, you never did find out his name. Dratini tells you that his name is...
 
...the time. Crap! The tournament starts in 5 minutes! You quickly run to the tournament arena and join the others just in time. An announcer walks up to the stage, grabs a microphone, and says "Welcome everyone to the Monthly Annual Competition! Today, 32 trainers will battle, but only one will win!" He then goes on to explain the rules. There will be 5 rounds in total. Each battle will be a single battle. Each trainer will use three Pokemon throughout the entire tournament. (You only have three Pokemon) Anyone who cheats will be disqualified, barred from participation in any future tournaments, and shot repeatedly with an assault rifle. Those who make it to the Top 4 will get 5 Heart Scales and a Big Nugget. Those who make it to the Top 2 will also get 2 Evolutionary Stones of their choosing. You look at your Petilil, who looks excited upon hearing this. Whoever wins the entire Tournament, however, will also get the Grand Prize of...
 
...Ellen. She says "Ready to get wrecked?" You reply "No, but you will be!" Ellen sends out her Vulpix, while you send out your Dratini. Ellen looks shocked and demands to know how you got one. You reply "I lowered his HP, threw a Poke Ball and caught him. Surely you ought to know by now how to catch a Pokemon?" Ellen looks pissed and commands her Vulpix to use Will-o-Wisp. It misses as Lance uses Dragon Dance. Another Dragon Dance from your Dratini, and Ellen's Vulpix uses Flamethrower, but it doesn't hurt Lance that much. You then have your Dratini use Aqua Tail, which immediately KOs Vulpix. Ellen says "This isn't over! Not by a long shot!" She sends out her second Pokemon, a...
 
...Shiny Female Milotic. The crowd gasps at seeing the beautiful Tender Pokemon and Ellen laughs. 'You really think I spent all night doing nothing but studying whilst you were dancing?' Ellen said smiling. 'No. I hunted for a near unfindable Feebas and found a Shiny One which reading the contest books helped me evolve.' She tossed her blue tipped hair it gleamed similar to her Pokemon. Her Milotic let out a melodious cry.

'My team of Elegant Pokemon.' Ellen says smiling. You see your Dratini is unperturbed. You order your Dragon Pokemon to use...
