Well, if I'm going to get it on Rom, it'll be in february anyways, so, in a bit, you're right. But I doubt it. I first want to finish FE7 and 9. XD

I don't have that many knowledge about Fire Emblem, though. :O I'm a newb. (since the end of September 2008). I know most of FE7, and I have encountered some things about FE9-10... but it's not like I know everything
Naruto has more experience in playing, I'm sure of it.
(and you don't have to be that surprised that I don't have any promotes yet... I go with the flow~ I'll reply to your VM tomorrow. I have to go to bed, have exam of physics tomorrow. I really wish that Pent could give me some advise. XD Don't you think mages know some stuff about that? 'Specially Pent.... =/)

Oh but the mages do.... They are just shy talking to you as a fellow tactician. (They fear you will be misguided! Lol.) Just kidding. I'm not sure why they don't give their imput on the battle.

Hm... We should have ranks now that I'm thinking up random stuff. Still... It's a club vote.

Wow, I haven't posted here in awhile, have I?

Anyway, welcome aboard, V_A! And I think Radiant Dawn was amazing, and definitely a worthwhile title to add to your collection. Though I'll give you one bit of advice: wait until your exams are over before you go out and get it. Yes, it's that addictive. *sweatdrop*
 
AHHH I haven't posted in a while either =/

I'm buying Shadow Dragon THE DAY it comes out. I haven't played FE in a very long while...and all my characters from the Sacred Stones are level 20 with close to maxed stats XD (I had to do something in chem class =P)
 
One thing I'd flip head over heels for would be designing or at the very least naming your own units. An epic Sniper named Ryan? Yep. That's BA.

But same as that probably won't be happening in Pokemon anytime soon (by designing your trainer), that probably won't ever happen in FE.

Ah, well, of course I'm going to wait until my exams are over. :O And by the way, I want to complete Path of Radiance before starting Radiant Dawn. I didn't mind starting FE6, while playing FE7, bujt I'd like to wait for FE10... =o FE6 is on hiatus though, first 7 and 9. :3

Talking about mages being tacticians... Soren (FE9-10), is supposed to be the tactician of Ike's group of mercenaries. Still, how can he manage things when he's fighting? XD Oh en Fire and Thunder magic > Wind magic. -3-"
Hey, is there also something called "Elwind"? I know there's "Elfire" from the earlier FE games (7), and apparently there's also something called "Elthunder" in FE9 (one of the mages you recruit in chapter 10 (?) holds it). So does the third Anima Magic also has it's "El" form?

Yes, there is actually. (I think you'll find it later in PoR but I'm not too sure.) If my memories are correct, El- would be the C-level of the anima spells.

Well~...... I've still no clue on how we are going to decided on the classes... How about we create our own mix?!?!?! I have ideas swarming in right now... Like a Magic wielding Pegasus Knight! (I'm lame hahaha...)
They should bring in some classes from FE4. (I like the Mage Fighter(can wield S-class thunder spells and A-class for Wind, Fire and Sword xD) for Tiltyu and Tinny but the Master Knight is so.... overpowering? It can use all weapons!!! Lol.) Since they have a third-promote classes now in RD, we COULD do something like Jr. Lord--> Lord --> (Insert) Lord (SNIPER LORD!!!) ^^

It's funny how I just thought about a magic wielding Wyvern Rider before I read your post. XD

We could do levelling up with a certain amount of post. Having 10 or, perhaps rather 15 or 20, posts will allow you to promote. And if you're not happy with what you are, you can change class after another certain amount of posts. And you can switch weapons (with posts). XD
We could do a lot with this now I think about it, but it's just a question how to realise it.
 
We could do random number draws after two post (or after every five posts since two can go fast)... Maybe 1-100? And you pick five numbers and maybe Kippy or me do the drawing to see if the number is drawn (I actually have numbers on index cards up to 100). If no than they recieve (insert) amount of exp (dunno about that part yet), if they get a number than they level up! That is probably more reasonable than rolling some dice or any other thing... (Unless someone else comes with a better idea hehehe). Goal to level up will still be 100 exp... but that's my little idea.
 
Hmhm... That could work, if you don't mind drawing cards each time. XD You can keep up with who posted what amount of post by clicking on the number of posts next to the the club's name, you know that?

And, it'd be good if the other members came back to say their say..

Hey Guys, I want to join the FE club. Although i haven't played Fire Emblem (original) I'm a big fan of Sacred Stones (Erika and Ephiram series) and already have Shadow Dragon, just waiting for my DS to be unbricked,(I need my unbrick card to come by mail).
From the previews, I personally prefer the 2d(SS) attacking action over the 3d(SD).

Hahaha... I do too. In 2d.... ANYTHING can happen... lol. Though the 3d has camera action (which I like), the attack animations are limited... (they won't ever pull off LYN'S blademaster critical.... ehehehehehe)

I just put down Path of Radiance (FE9) about 10 minutes ago.
In my opinion, it has the best storyline out of the.. 2 FE games I've played...
My favorites:
FE8-SS: Ephraim, Joshua, Gerrik, Cormag, Natasha
FE9-PoR: Ike, Zihark, Stefan, Mordecai, Haar, Tibarn, Nasir

The Black Knight scares the **** out of me.
I kid you not, I have an adrenaline rush every time he makes an appearance.

I'm still playing FE9, so I'm not gonna judge it. ^-^ I might make my next theme FE9 themed though. XD I like that picture of Ike running away I posted earlier. Or put Eliwood in it, and some other red-heads and name it "the red-head alliance". XD

FE7 is still my favourite game, but I haven't really played much of the others. |D

For those interested, there are movies to be seen on Nintendo's website. :3 If you have the latest Realplayer or any other device that can download online movies, I suggest you do so.
Watching them in DS format (double hight and half width) is not quite nice. XD

But the most interesting thing is the "history of Fire Emblem", which gives a short view on all the games. =D So it's nice to see (and hear) what FE was like back in the days. :3
