Spoiler:
IMPROVEMENTS:
- TFJs overall text was trimmed by 10%. Sam's long-ass monologues compactized, cutscenes much less tiring
- Vast improvements in grammar
- Consistent AI from DemICE; now the AI will function better
- Optimized events in outdoor maps to reduce lag
- All IVs are maxed out for all mons, and EVs are ignored; no need to grind for anything
- Automatic save backups
- Rebalanced vendors
- Increased light radius in dark places
- Improved map composition, added more details
- Finally managed to restore sprite animation of Agatha resting on Sam's shoulders in Cinnabar
- Rebalanced Trainer teams
- Introduced more save points
- Added more respawn points
- EXP.SHARE ALL is now given much earlier to the player (before you get your first Silph Missions)
- Another batch of 25 rare candies is handed out before the rematches with the future Gym Leaders, for faster team balance
- Reaching the small Shack in the very last route of RJW, now means having access to an infinite amount of Balance Candies. This will make adding, swapping, and raising lower-levelled team members, a breeze. Thus, grinding is now completely unnecessary for RJW.
- Same goes for an NPC in Battle Tower. The re-fightable Trainer there provides an option for the 1% of players who like grinding instead of convenience.
- PC Boxes limit raised to 20, since it was more of an inconvenience for the second part. Graphics updated for Red's PC
- You will now be able to access Autoheal from the Menu in RJW
- Graphics now accompany certain events, like the Eizo's friend photo, and Sam's family photo
- Miror B hardest dancing difficulty will now reward you with a special OP Ludicolo
- Bag graphics will now reflect Red's part
- Ticket saleswoman event will automatically activate upon entering the Marina after defeating Jasmine
- Reduced required milking
- Butt-stuck man now appears before having the need to search for him
- Made the pipe minigame a bit easier on the eyes
- All marts will be functional, but will only sell Pokeballs, once you've reached RJW lategame
- Farfechter slightly nerfed
ADDITIONS:
- A new island town, Alyssum Island, based on the cut island town from Gen 1 alpha
- A redesigned Diglett's cave, according to potential original intentions, as well as the inclusion of the lost
beta Diglet Cave theme
- A new prologue to break up the monotony and lack of early lore contextualization
- Added various mini-events to enrich the lore without textual information (visual storytelling). Textual feedback
for players who don't prefer that is still prominent, however
- Added the encounter list UI for both TFJ and RJW. You can now see all available pokemon in every route, no need to encounter them first.
- Added a Kanto Map since many people have forgotten route and town locations
- After witnessing the events in Pallet and Route 23, the Route 2 Viridian Forest Shortcut will be immediately unlocked, and John will be waiting to battle you outside the passage, instead of in the Forest. This shortcut will enable you to skip backtracking through Viridian Forest from that point onwards
- Extra lore events
- Added "Balance Candy" a candy that automatically raises the level of a Pokemon to the highest level of another Pokemon in your Party. So, if you have a 100lvl mon in your party, and wanted to raise that amazing Magikarp you just caught, without battling, simply give it the Balance candy and it's gonna get to vlv 100 immediately.
- The Pokemon switch option for RJW will always be "SET".
- Added a new area, "Tohjo Fields", a strip of land where the train tracks connecting Johto to Kanto have been laid. Accessible via Route 22. The tracks are now visible in various Routes
- A new reward in RJW, unlocked if the player did a certain something before the prologue Lugia attack
- Shuckle now got the form it always deserved (ground-rock, like it was intended, hugely OP, like it wasnt intended)
BUGFIXES:
- Title screen will now adjust to TFJ or RJW even if you have finished the former
- Fixed cherry blossom petal fog cutscene animation not working properly on MKXP
- Tile fixes
- Lighthouse Pikachu battle wont start automatically, giving the player the chance to prepare
- Fixed Red's Future portrait
- Player won't be able to talk to Morty from the sides now
- Pryce will wait for you to prepare before initiating a double battle
- You wont be able to ride the Radio Tower elevator until you've read your archives, now
- Fixed north rock black borders
- Used a different method to handing out Chikorita, hopefully that fixes the transfer of Chiko movesets to another mon
- Removed Ancient Gyarados' rogue pixel
- Removed Border, it was incompatible with MKXP
- Party will be healed before being transferred to endgame island
- Fixed game potentially crashing if you lost to the event wild Arcanine
- Fixed Mega Venusaur not existing
