[Gen 3] The First Vs. Nuzlocke on this Website

Hello people! So Sml6 and I are bringing you the first Vs Nuzlocke on this site (as far as I know, but I don't want to be corrected so that's what I'm naming it :P). We're going to be playing Ruby and Sapphire, (I will be playing Ruby, and Smol will be playing Sapphire) and we will both be updating on this thread. The goal is for whoever makes the last update (ie: the Championship update) will win the competition. So without further ado, here are the rules!

Spoiler: Rules!

1. First Pokemon in each route/area will be the only Pokemon elegible to be caught. If this Pokemon dies there will be no catch for the area
1b. Dupes Clause: If this first Pokemon ends up being a Pokemon that is in a family of a Pokemon you already have, you are able to catch the next Pokemon instead. Repeat if needed until one is able to be caught
1c. Shiny Clause: If you encounter any Shiny Pokemon they are able to be caught.
2. You must nickname all of your Pokemon.
3. If a Pokemon faints, it must be treated as dead and put in a PC box labeled "Dead"
4. Maximum one gym per update post.
5. This will be a screenshot run. Screenshots as well as commentary will be posted in each update

Authors note: Smol still has yet to post his next update.. wonder what that means.. Here's my best wishes to smol and getting his update out. This was pretty fun to make considering it was early game. Here's to hope that it continues being fun.
