Got a whole team of shinies now. It's not the best but it's better than nothing. If I recall right, it was Tyranitar, Terrakion, Lugia, Jirachi, Arceus, and Hydreigon.

Heh, shinies. Never had any luck with finding those. And if I could just get the one shiny I want right now (a shiny Amaura), I would actually be able to progress in my X version...

I mean, I guess I could anyway since nothing's actually stopping me, but I decided I would try to get that shiny before I moved on so welp there's that.

I get that feeling. I hate soft resetting for a shiny starter or a fossil that requires you to be at a certain point in the game. Until you get that shiny, you cannot move on which is annoying. I tried to soft reset in OR and SS but I just got bored of waiting and moved on.

I do have 4 different boxes of shinies however. I have a lot from the nice people over at the AuS twitch channel, and some that I have obtained myself(through various methods). I honestly, don't get bored of shiny hunting.

This is also because I really want a reason to keep playing OR/AS and X/Y more since their actual post games are not all that pleasing.

I disagree :o I think OR/AS has the best post-game yet! It has the most legendaries to catch and then there's the Delta Episode which is long in itself. Also, Zinnia's music is simply amazing!

Honestly, the post game for ORAS still fell a little flat. Granted, it was better than that of X & Y but it fell short on a few marks, level selections for instance.

Now this talk about post games makes me want to play something like Black 2 now. I wonder if I should try a no catch challenge on hard mode on that game.

Idk if oras has the best post game it was kinda dry fast and expected.
Granted its better than XY cause that just had well nothing but can it compare to sinnoh and unova?

Sinnoh's post-game wasn't as good as everyone says imo. Black 2 and White 2's was the best. Ruby and Sapphire and X and Y have the worst post-game imo.

Personally, I think HGSS and Platinum had the best post games, even if HGSS needed a VS Seeker badly. For ORAS, Zinnia was a joke at best while the Deoxys fight afterwards was something else entirely. Didn't like the new Sky Pillar though, the old one was so much better considering it put the mach bike to good use along with strong leveled Pokemon to grind with instead of this mid 40s bs. For BW2, the post game started off strong but it felt rather empty by the time I got to the beginning town from BW1.
