I don't know if it's been posted , but ...
To be able to become a Gym Leader and take on random challengers XDD .
Or the same thing for being a Champion .
Also , more Fire , Dark and Ghost types !
 
I would like to see Defog given a more useful ability. Its just far to common to be useless. If I could change it I would say, make it a PP of 5 and give it the ability to clear all weather conditions. There are alot of PKMN out there that run weather effects, this could be the counter.

Separate field effects from moves. Allow each pokemon to have like two or three slots for field moves, some of the side games have. There's lots to do as far as side quest and I hate HM slaves. Also there's a good chance that the next game will alot more online content a la Ragnarok Online, not the whole game mind you.

I would also like the ability to change Pokeballs. I would love it if I could buy new Pokeballs and put my Pokemon in them. Example, I breed a new Staryu, he comes in a standard red/white ball. I would equip a Diveball on him. The old Pokeball would be destroyed (to keep people from reusing Masterballs) and Staryu would find itself in a nice new Diveball. I think this is a reasonable request as we now can see the Pokeballs used in the DS game as well as PBR. I feel it would give a touch of customization to trainers, especially people like me who run mono or theme parties.

Allow the ability to have some/all/none of your pokemon follow you.

I want to be able to select which pokemon goes first using my touch screen, instead of being determined by who's first in party.

A better Water/Dark type then the two we have.

If this thing comes out on the next gen system, and there's room, allow me to travel to all the regions.

More underwater routes.

I'd like to have more flexibility on the order we do things, rather than being restricted to one order of gyms. As well as giving contests more of a part in the games, maybe doing a similar things to the anime with a grand festival type thing, sort of the like E4.

Personally I didn't like underwater routes, or even too many water routes for that matter. Maybe an option of which routes to take to get to places (to sort of go with what I said before)
 
As far as pre/evo's of existing Pokemon go, just baby kangaskhan.
More walking directions would be nice, but it's kind of their thing.
Fight off humans or mechs on occasion. Half-joking, half serious here.
More recurring characters, especially old protagonists. Red is not enough.
And, as previously stated ad infinitum, customizable characters.

and i think they should do a 3 combination pokemon like a dragon/fire/water that would be so neat!!!!!
pokemon moon version and pokemon sun version? idk
new HMS. Growth (can make fruit grow on trees)
Bad oder (works sorta like a repel only differnt, keeps pokemon away because of a bad smell)
burn down (can burn down very tall grass)
you should be able to ride your pokemon instead of bikes!!!!
exceed the level of 100
can travel between reigions
pokemon get alternate evolutions or maybe even a 4th evolutional state!!!!!
legendaries evolve?!?!?!?
new evee evolutions ^_^
cutscenes (like that rayuqazza one in emerald)
new status defects and status enhancemants!!!!!
like maybe certain modes that boost certain attacks and stuff
uhmmm any other ideas guys?

oh and another hm should be like mercy charm (fends off unwanted challengers)

like was all that truley necessary? was simply expressing my opinion here like everybody else, nothing makes another persons idea's "stupid". what may sound like absolute ludicrous to you may be a exciting and charming idea to another individual. so why dont you think before you downsize another persons ideas. we are all here for the same motive are we not? good day to you sir.

Heh heh, how about you think before acting immature? I was just doing what you do on forums. Commenting your opinion about another person's opinion. You post. I reply. Its that simple. Its not my fault you can't criticism maturely. SO good day to YOU sir. :)
 
well i dont see how i was acting immature...I was just a tad frustrated that my ideas were not good enough i suppose. well maybe i did act a little immature and i do apologize for my detestful behaivior. How about we put all of this behind us ok? :)

Oh, I've made my fair share of legendary evolutions. Only three were really good though. All I need to do now is use my awesome persuasive skills on the Nintendo company...

Here is my list-

1) Combination types (allowing a pokemon to have three types by combining two and adding a third, ie electric+steel=robot or ice+water=arctic)

2) An alternate evolution for male bunearies. (Shudders at the thought of a male lopunny)

3) A few new abilities I've made up...
-Metal Detector (alerts you to unseen items without the use of some fancy poketch app or other piece of crap)

-Hydra (for one of my sister's fakemon only... but... it causes the pokemon to get doubled power on all moves involving its mouth after being hit by a cutting move, thus eliminating the effects of the cut-like move. It quadruples the power if said cutting move is guillotine.)

-Adrenaline Rush (the pokemon will OHKO the opponent if it is the last in your pack and with hp in the red; comes into effect right before the move that faints it)

4) A dark ghost type with wondergaurd

5) TALKING POKEMONZ! (yeah... I'm kidding on this one.)

Uh, why would it be something besides Fire/Grass/Water? Personally, there shouldn't be a 5th Gen, Pokemons been getting worse and worse. Nintendo should quitwhile it's a head and leave us with the Golden Days
 
If we all lived in the golden days, there would be no progress in the world. Pokemon should progress like everything else.

That said, I'm thinking we need another two year break like D/P (for HGSS) before a new game comes out. I'm sure it will be well received by that time.

Uhh for a fifth gen game, I want a return to hoenn as it'd be really cool to relive hoenn through the DS. However I want them to pair up hoenn and some place like orre that has never been featured on the ds.
 
I haven't read the whole thread. Apologies if this was brought up, but what about a complete reboot? 150 new pokemon and no references to any previous games. A blank slate and everything up to now gets to stay as it is. It could be good or it could completely fall flat.
 
No, I prefer the game to maintain some kind of continuity. Keeping the old Pokemon around doesn't exclude any new fans but still rewards the old fans with nostalgia.

That would work out well for many fans, which means Nintendo and GF would lose plenty of money. Current fans would be like where's Pikachu, Charizard etc. Although I know many people who want the entire 4th and 3rd gens erased. :/

It just doesn't seem like they'd dispose of all the creatures that have been developed over the last 13 years. =P
 
How about a Dark-Type Gym? I never really liked Dark-Types, but they're the only Type without a Gym... Maybe a Pinsir evo. I definitely wouldn't say no to an underwater area, like the ones in R/S/E!
 
A Poison type Legendary Pokemon. A master Virus or something. Poison, Fighting and Bug have been neglected in that sense.
