As far as the Farfetch'd and Delibird "evos" go... I don't really like them that much.....
Well, they've done the rules of reality. What about the unreal and the imaginary? There's an infinite amount they can do. Read up on mythology from a random culture and GF will most likely make a Pokemon game on it at one point.
that's a good idea, or maybe they will return to generation one or two legendaries in which they are just powerful or maybe they will represent a celestrial body, like venus, saturn, neptune, ect.Well, they've done the rules of reality. What about the unreal and the imaginary?
I can think of so many more legends that they could do. For example, they could make a quintet of legendaries based on certain arts and senses. A fighting-type could represent the vestibular sense and could be the master of dance, while a poison-type could represent visual beauty and be the master of visual arts (move over, Smeargle).
lugia is the moon, and Ho-oh is the sun, giratina can actually represent death considering it's dp pokedex entry that it appears around gravesites and it's typing as ghost.Cresilia represent's dreams or darkrai but darkrai's are bad while cresilia's are good dreams, but a rebirth legend is a good idea, i get the image of a pokemon like arceus but is buddist apposed to hindu.Possible Legendary-bases:
-Sun
-Moon
-Light
-Darkness
-Nature
-Rain
-Snow
-Spring
-Summer
-Fall
-Winter
-Earth (As in a Pokemon that actually makes up the elements of the world)
-Dreams
-7 Deadly Sins
-Aging
-Death
-Rebirth
-Mountains
-Lakes
-Wormholes (although Giratina may have this one...)
-War
-Greek Pantheon
Need I go on?
Seasonal legendarys ftw. Maybe instead of a legendary trio, we could have a legendary quad and maybe cut back on some of the unnecessary legends like Heatran and Crescelia.

I can actually see a good use for Sun/Moon legends. An eternal Day/Night thing would actually be pretty cool, even though it is similar to Ruby and Sapphire I would still like it. Or some spin on that situation.
well if you see the intro of SS you see the moon in the background and in the intro of HG you see the sun, plus gold is the metal of the sun and silver represents the moon in alchemy. The sun is known to represent rebirth also like spring.Giratina represents Anti-Matter not Death.
Lugi represents storms and Ho-oh represents Rebirth, Darkrai represents Nightmares.
I know something to speculate, how Zorua evolves into Zoroark, after all, that's what we're gonne find out in the next issue of CororCoro which is only 2 weeks away.
@Morrison, Lugia does have a Backstory, it's just not as long as Ho-oh's.
and I don't support the Idea of going back to MAIN Legends that have no backstory whatsoever, what's the point of being a Legend if no-one knows what your purpose and past is? That's like saying King Arthur, a real life legend should have no backstory.
Story is what attracts people more these days, and it's what has attracted people for centuries.
