I'm sorry but why would we ever want evolutionary chains to be changed? That would make every pokemon game, card game, and other digital media obsolete. And it doesn't make any sense at all. When you start doing that you're trying way too hard to make pokemon something it's not.

About legendaries having genders. That's totally fine in my opinion. I've always thought that Mew was female too. But why would they have ratio's? In the games the legendary pokemon are said to be the only one of it's kind. If Mew is the only one of it's kind and is female how is it's ratio not 100%?
Please don't bring up "In the anime..." or "In the manga" etc. The game's have proven time again that they may share certain similiarities but they are two different things.

All the legends say Dialga was born ruler of time or Heatran was born guardian of Stark Mountain (exemples) So if they were born this way than why would they have pre-evo's? Does every pokemon need an evolution? That's a matter of opinion. I personally don't think so.

Looked it over, and, you're right, a bit of them are...out-there. But a few are spot-on. Like Banette to Darkrai. Though I don't get what Uknown has in relation of Tangela.

When did I say that every Pokémon needs an evolution? Can't I spend my free time putting some pictures together and imagining what it would be like? Why do people get so pissed off when ideas don't have logic, base or necessity. You know what? Go to Distortion World!

OK, as I said they resemble to legendaries. I know you're cool NEP, but some people will come out saying "WTF are you seeing between them??? It's stupid stupid and stupid beyond stupidness..."

These evolutions are most probably not going to happen, it's just another crazy speculation from my mind. I tried to decide about legendary birds but couldn't. And I tried to make a better convertion to pdf, but this was the best I could get by now.

@NEP: Yes most of them were put there just to include every legendary. The Aerodactyl > Lugia makes no sense at all, but was the best I could get. But Claydol > Regis, Armaldo > Giratina, Bastiodon > Heatran, Golduck > Dialga, Medicham > Deoxys are okay to me.

I just hope to see the first pure Flying type Pokemon in the 5th gen.

I do want a pure flying type pokemon for the 5th gen, just because of my love for them, but if there were ever to be a pure flying type it would take away the ghost immunity. And Im pretty sure that we dont want our beloved birds to be defeated with nightmare and shadow sneak.

I really hope the first gym isn't Rock. It's just boring and repetitive. Something like Normal would be nice, or just anything that isn't Rock. And obviously we need a Dark-type gym somewhere (Hey! Maybe Zoroark will be it's signature Pokemon?)

A rock/ground gym is very annoying. For the 5th generation I think a lot of people want to be suprised (breaking tradition anyone?). I really dont mind if they break this one tradition for the 5th generation. suprise me GameFreak! lol

Well, here's my Gen 5 'idea' list:
Evil Teams: Team Sol & Team Luna, intent on harnessing the powers of the Sun/Moon to takeover the world through the use of the version exclusive legendaries.
Baby Legendary: Something pertaining to a balance between the Sun and Moon. Perhaps a Sunset, Sunrise, Twilight, or Eclipse Pokemon. Fairy-like, similar to Jirachi.
Version Exclusive Legends: The Solar and Lunar Pokemon. Solar Pokemon is Fire/Dragon (Chinese Dragon), Lunar Pokemon is Ice/Dark (Timber Wolf)
New Methods of Evloution: Evolving based on a Pokemon's hatred, evolving based on a Pokemon's condition (Other tahn Feebas), evolving when a specific Pokemon is in your party (Similar to Mantyke)
New Evolutions: Pincer, Jynx, Mr.Mime, Mightyena, Sandslash, Manaphy, Girafarig, Mawhile
New Pre-evolutions: Kangaskan, Smeargle, Zangoose, Seviper, Lapras
Zorua and Zoroark are one-time Pokemon that are inbreedable. Preferably given Legendary status, similar to Manaphy and Phione.
Jirachi is included in the regional dex. Dunno why, but Jirachi seems to fit into the whole Sun/Moon theme to me.
Revisit Hoenn in the post-game.
NO BATTLE FRONTIER/BATTLE TOWER.
Better in-game trades. Able to rename Pokemon traded in-game.
Pokemon Contests system similar to anime. Allowing payers to make combinations using their Pokemon's moves in the appeal round and then entering a battle round to determine the winner.
Customizable Trainer. This is a gimme.
Pokemon Follow Me feature.
PokeWalker <3
Secret bases! NO UNDERGROUND EVER AGAIN!
No more than 7 Legendary Pokemon.
Able to battle Brendan and May in Hoenn (Given Hoenn is accessable)
V.S. Seeker is a must.
No Poffins. Return to PokeBlock, so much easier and better.
Apricorns and Berry Planters.
Criminal Rival. Silver is awsome, but how about a female one this time?
Bare minimum of 4th Gen Pokemon. Like ten, if that.
Alternative to Bicycle. Skateboard, anyone?
Make Fly nonlinear. I want to be able to fly to any route I want.
Only 5 HMs. Cut, Strength, Surf, Fly, and Waterfall.
Dive routes make a return.

-evolution on hatred, now dont forget that kids like ages 4 and up play these games. Although that would be intresting to see.
-I think it is time for a chinese dragon.
-no new evolutions for the 5th generation. 2 pre-evolutions at the most (like what they did in the 3rd generation) reboot!
-I am all for the hoenn remakes, wheather they are included in their own game byitself or with the 5th gen game that is coming out this year. I just want to revisit hoenn. If hoenn isnt in the 5th generation, I will rage. Badly.
-battle tower needs to be included, its a tradition that was started by the 2nd generation (crystal)
-pokemon contests, umm well Im not a big fan of the DPPt version of the contests, but they should go back to the old version of the contests (RSE)
-My vote goes to the pokeblocks lol
-It is time for custom trainers
-elemental secret bases all the way. DPPt kinda ruined the secret bases.
-VS seeker it doesnt really matter as long as there is a way to rebattle trainers. (pokegear, pokenav)
-Apricorns, I think that is a 2nd generation exclusive imo.
-criminal female rival, I think it is needed, to make the game more intresting. Maybe 2 rivals. One friendly and one that hates your guts lol
-Bicycle is just fine, I consider it a tradition just like the cycling road.
-flying to routes will be easier to train your team :]
-those and that 1 exclusive HM.
-I would love to see the dive routes again :D

Yes, pretty amazing! Or maybe that basic 3D from Golden Sun.

EDIT: @NEP Yes, it would be cool, but catching a Pokémon in a certain season is what I wouldn't like. But maybe if they added a legendary capable of changing seasons...

Not that big, keep the same size. And they've already probably been working on the 5th generation for a while now. And for their Sprite Artist they already have or if they hire a whole team that can emulate with already has been done, then it should still go on a scheduled.

Sorry you guys, but the chance of there being a pure flying-type has gotten slimmer...

Anyone remember Roost? Roost restores user's HP, but the user also will lose its Flying-type thus being treated as a single-type Pokémon until the next turn.

What would happen to a pure Flying-type Pokemon that used Roost? It would have no type. I suppose GF could make pure Flyings that use Roost normal types, or if they made every move do neutral damage to them during the Roost state. Maybe they could make them the ??? type. :S

And why remove the Battle Frontier/Tower? What does it do to hurt the game? It's pretty much the only in-game thing available for competitive players, despite the incredible hax. -_-'

The new gens zoroark and its pre evo= awesome. I can't wait to see what else is coming out.

I also hope along with this game, at some point in 2011 Genius Sonority makes a colo/xd game again. I NEED A WII POKE RPG!!!

Also the DS has 3d capabilities beyond what pkmn uses. I hope nintendo FINALLY makes a good looking handheld game!!!

Erm, either way, I like Zorua but not it's evolution. Still, whether they could do better or not, we can't blame them if the same people have been designing since.
They could try hiring more designers but then the normal pokemon style would fall out.. -shrug- but anyways that's not our prob. XD


Since it is an evil fox, I think it has to evolve.. ON A FULL MOON WITH HAPPINESS ABOVE 100! XD
Of course the DS could figure that out by the calendar dates.. but I dunno. XD

All I'm going to say here is that I want a freakin' Dolphin Pokemon. :| An actual dolphin, not a it-looks-like-a-dolphin-but-it-isn't like Gorebyss. Unless one wants to classify and confirm that South Sea = Dolphin for me.
