Well Groudon and Kyogre were rampaging, but nothing really got destroyed. It would be sick say if... Giratina Origin Forme appeared in Floaroma Town and just started mun ching buildings, and it was rubble when you came back, and slowly it got rebuilt.

I always loved the whole "battle to death" thing going on between Groudon and Kyogre. I think it would be nice if they expanded on that a bit. All Groudon and Kyogre did was make it hot and rainy. With the ridiculous legends we have now, the damage has the potential to be much more severe. If Dialga and Palkia hated each other as much as those two, random parts of Sinnoh would freakishly disappear or be thrown into time warps. O_o With that I am given the idea of time travel occurring in the games, which means I really should just end it here. >.>

But in all seriousness, a Panda Pokemon and a Koala Pokemon are far overdue. Other good ones would be an Imperial Dragon, a Crane, a better mole, an Ambush Bug (look it up, its awesome), and maybe also a vulture.

Ok, I want to start a new discussion, and theories on possible starter Pokemon? I've thought up these

Grass:
-Cute Baby Panda -> Chubby Kung Fu Pandaish sort of guy -> Bulky and strong Panda

So they would go grass, grass-fighting, grass-fighting/

Fire:
-Little deer, small horns -> Gangly looking gazelle sort of thing -> powerful and prominant stag, powerful horns and flame tail

Pure fire all the way, probably wuick and special

Water
-Little sea urchin with feet ->still small, but with a body, strong arms -> big rough sea rogueish urchin

Water, Water-Dark/Poison, Water-Dark/Poison

Any thoughts?

I like the first one, as I'm dying for a Koala bear pokemon. Though grass Peacock anyone?
The second one is cool too, I think the last evolution would be sick!!

But for fire I'm actually feeling one of two things.

Either a fire ant or my favourite a...FLAMING TREE THAT'S ON FIRE!! I don't know why but I think it'd be epic...maybe not for a starter though...as it'd likely be Grass/Fire. :P

Haha, hating on Sinnoh or just love the idea in general? I think it'd be cool to be able to meet characters in the future in stuff. Kind of like From RS to Emerald where Steven sort of "retires" but instead you could travel to the future and meet Cynthia as an old lady helping out youngsters or go back in time and battle with a young young Lance. :P Those sorts of things. =D

Typing: Grass->Grass->Grass/Dragon

Fire:
Hot spring monky baby with flame on head->Hot spring monkey, child form->Hot spring monkey, adult, fur on arms set on fire!
Typing: Fire->Fire->Fire/Dark-Psychic-Water

Water:
Young crane->Bigger crane->Imperial crane
Typing: Water/Flying->Water/Flying->Water/Flying

As far as places to go:

-Large underground lake
-Underwater city/temple
-Desert city
-Cave city(inside the cave)
-VOLCANO!
-Pagodas
-Pyramid
-Eastern Island-style island
-Rain forest
-Glaciers/Icy mountains
-CASTLE IN DA SKY

Just a random comment, but earlier I had a dream about a Fire-type starter named Ihtecma and something else named Verichetema. The "Ihtecma" looked predominantly red, like a cross between Bronzong and either Bastiodon. I guess all the Generation V hype is getting to me... ???

EDIT: Additionally, I'm hoping for Light-types and Pokemon based off of the seasons (preferably Legendaries, but non-Legendaries would be OK, too), as well as a custom Pokemon feature (sketchy, I'd explain it in detail but I'm short on time...).

Haha, even though that seems to be the big thing these days, "post-apocalyptic" worlds... It does seem like a rather awesome thought for a Pokemon game or perhaps a movie. I'd love to see it one of these days haha.

You've always got Torkoal and Sharpedo.

They're not starters, though. All previous Fire starters aren't strong defensively and all previous Water starters have been slow. I want this to change for the new batch of starters.

Idea for Starters

I posted this a while back, so I'll refresh this idea now that we are discussing starters.

All three of the starters will begin as dark, psychic, and fighting. As they evolve, they will each gain a second type, grass, fire, and water respectively. All three may be based off mammals, but all three will also have significant gender differences.

"Spawna"- a Dark-type fawn.
-evolves into-
"Elkin"- a Dark-type deer/elk with antlers.
-evolves into-
"Vamoose"- a Dark/Grass-type moose with a large rack of antlers covered in vines.

(the rest I haven't thought of possible names)

a Psychic-type lion cub
-evolves into-
a Psychic-type maturing lion cub (males will start growing their flame-mane)
-evolves into-
a Psychic/Fire-type lion with a fiery mane and flame-tip tail


a Fighting-type bipedal narwhal calf
-evolves into-
a Fighting-type bipedal narwhal with males sprouting a tooth
-evolves into-
a Fighting/Water-type bipedal, flippered narwhal with males with a full tooth

I'd hope for a Grass/Flying Starter (God, I've been waiting for that since Gen III.)
A Fire Cub would be nice.
And a water lizard wouldn't be terrible.
Either way, I'd probably still pick Fire, but if there's a Grass/Flying, that might change my mind.

Ah, I thought about one only starter. It would have three forms (a tendency nowadays), each form being Grass, Fire or Water. And three possible evolutions, one for each form. I don't know why but I'd like to see a Water/Bug as the final Water starter (a super cannon spider, don't ask me why).
