ok i see the thing with kanto, johto, and s***to (thats what i call it XD) but hoenn doesnt match up at all

xDD thats what I said too when I first saw it. But they flipped it in the games (turn your map sideways)

last time i checked hoenn doesnt have that many islands spread out so far

Nintendo likes to cut and paste a lot xDD

We've had trains and boats for transport, time for Planes!

Since Cars are in the game will they play a part? It seems to ruin it a bit if instead of running through grassy areas you could just cruise through in a flashy car...

Hey I just did some quick work to the greece map I posted above..and realized Greece (if used) could be broken up into two regions...see

Yeah at the beginning of the game you could be like "What region of the PKMN world is this?" and the Professor kicks you in a hole saying "THIS...IS...SPARTA!!!" and your concept trainer art turns into the sprite as you fall into the hole...

Why not a submarine? We had one in the hoenn region, but team Aqua jacked it and we didnt get a chance to ride in it :[
I would like to ride in a hot air balloon and battle other people in hot air balloons :D

I just noticed on Serebii one of the prerelease pics is Zoroark vs Zoroa, where Zoroark is yours.

Does this mean that Zoroa is just another wild Pokémon? From the looks of the screen the evolutionary line isn't even a one off!!

Of course it could just have been a battle scenario to show off both pokémon at once, but we shall see soon.

Wow, I knew that Kanto was based upon a true region on Japan, but i didn´t know about the other ones!

if the new region is the space between hoenn and johto then i will start to believe there is hope for a RSE remake (not that its needed like RB and GSC was) but if it is the space above kanto then we are most likely not getting a RSE remake

That would be nice, but Hoenn deserves its own game. Kanto was added mostly because Johto was too small, and they're neighboring regions. Then again if the region was in the area between johto and hoenn who knows....

On the topic of the battle graphics, what are those dark rings around Zoroark? Maybe its similar to the pokeball seals?

I really really hope so. Strangely enough, the reboot in generation 3 is what really attracted me to it. Cant wait to see what generation 5 brings :D


lol relax my fellow Magikarp lover, it took me awhile to realize that it was based off of real world places. Check the japan map and then check the region map in your games :]

It looks like dark pulse to me. That would be cool if different graphic appear when pokemon come out. Haha when you sent out Charizard flames come out of the pokeball. Then again we have pokeball seals, but they could greatly improve them.

To me it looks like Dark pulse... but you never know... it actually like a mix of Dark pulse and hidden power... at least to me...
