Yeah I agree, If we have a bunch of brainless drones telling us what to do, it kind of takes the fun out of the game, since its supposed to be relatively open-ended. After R/S/E wouldn't mind seeing the dual evil team idea die.

I'm really liking that city! can't wait to see what it will look like at night. XD i can see 2 boats in the pic... does that mean that there will be a number of islands to go to or something?

Yeah I'm there a lot so I immdiately made the parallel, but it could also be Guangzhou or London, but I don't see it as resembling those cities. Also, there is a third boat towards the left on the horizon. I wouldn't mind another boat ride in this game. More exp from battling trainers

Maybe, or maybe they're just there so that the port doesn't look empty lol.

i know that bridge anywhere,i saw the bridge from the exact same perspective when i went to see it, theres no way it not san fran.
thats brilliant XD so we get explore the Pokemon Version of the USA -_-" i really hope the economy is better in the PKMN version lol\

which means i know the metaphor to Black& White
America is always lookin at everythin in that perspective, never grey
so we are goin to be seein a good VS evil thing, thatll probably turn into a neutral thing lol

Only a few pages back, I had the same idea. You'll find that [here] in this post. It was brought to my attention though that it could have more of an aspect to San Francisco since the bridge itself matches more of the Golden Gate than the Brooklyn Bridge. It can go both ways, but it really depends on the other regional aspects as well.

I wouldn't go head over heals saying the new region will be based on the US, but it is a possible idea. It being far away, and being able to get there by airplane or boat fits the concept (as well as the Hiun City to San Francisco and/or New York). I'd probably expect a full view map of the Isshu region by the next month or so.

its the golden gate bridge, i would never mistake it for the bridges in NYC, the bridges in NYC would be slightly higher than it

IF it is NYC, then we will have a huge island donated to just that city
while if its San fran, itll be connected to the rest of the region ^_^

Indeed. I only said I was leaning towards NY becuase of all the high rises densely clustered together. I remeber San Fran as being more open. In addition, I believe the Golden Gate bridge is red not gray, and is smaller.

San Francisco would make more sense though region wise, sinc NYC only connects to Staten Island, brooklyn, and the Bronx. We'll have to see. Then again you'd have Oakland on the other side. lol

I still wouldn't rule out Guangzhou or Shanghai

Lt Serge is American, in fact his description is the Lightning American.

I'm not quite sure we have enough info to know if this is a western region yet. Sootopolis is based off Santorini Greece, but does Hoenn take place there? It's possible that this is the only western-styled city. It's also possible this city wasn't specifically designed to resemble the western world at all.

i guess its cuz hes one of the easiest gymleaders,so i dont pay much attention to him
after all in FR/LG i owned his whole team with a newly caught diglett lol

Are there any thoughts on what the next pseudo legendary might be? I hope it's going to be either a fighting type, fighting/dragon type or a Fire/dragon type. A water pseudo-legendary based on the Kraken sounds cool as well.
