The tag looks pretty nice overall. Though I think that the bar under the text can be done away with or at least thinned. The squigglies look a little too sharp in places (like at the top) but that can be remedied by erasing with a soft brush. I would have liked to see more reds in there though, to match his hair and pants. But just small subtle touches of red, thrown in there with the purple.

SwampertTrainer, I think you should take some time to rate CME's stuff if you get the chance. Because when you reply to her crits, some other idiots who haven't actually read and understood the rules might see your reply post as a free rate, which isn't the way things work. It's just kind of a give-give thing, you know? :<

And, both of you, this isn't a discussion thread. <_< If you really must continue arguing over this subject, there are two very convenient forms of contact on PC known as private messages and profile messages.

Please utilize them.

@ YOOM-TAH:
It looks pretty decent. I like the c4d you used right beside her arm; it seems to flow perfectly with it. I've only got a couple of beefs with the banner:

1) As I said, the blue c4d looks really nice. However, the red... "thing" beside it kind of screws up the flow. The way they intersect isn't very appealing at all.

2) Behind the render, on the right hand side, it looks as if there's a really blurry c4d, or a motion-blurred bit of background.
... yeah, no. That totally ruins it. It seems to be the only thing going to the right.

But yeah, it's a pretty nice banner. It kinda looks a little plain, but simplicity is still beauty.

Took me a while to figure out that it's a picture of Yuna. There's too much effects which make it a little hard on the eyes. Text placement needs work, but I think the effect is pretty nice. Overall, it's too busy for my own personal taste.

It's nice, but seems kinda rough and messy. Also colors aren't too great IMO. The effects are great, but just seem out of place/sloppy.

I agree, way too bright. It's a bit hard to tell the position of the render, or where anything on it is. The top arm looks like it's been dislocated from the rest of the image. Again, this probably the excessive brightness. Aside from the brightness and the render, the sides of the image are good.

here's mine. The text in this one is meant to be the focal, so don't ding me for that. I got the inspiration from the fact that my state is kinda all on fire right now...

This one I made a while ago, and at the time I thought it was really good... now I'm not so sure:

@Utami - The colors are really washed out, so that hot pink squiggle stands out like a sore thumb. A little brightness/contrast and saturation would do this tag wonders (leaving the hot pink alone of course; just make some adjustment layers under the hot pink layer).
@Conman - So bright. ;o; The rest of the effects are pretty nice, but I would like to see a tad more depth above her right arm (the one in the air). It's pretty bland and flat compared to the rest of the tag.
@Swampert - You have flow going in all different directions. Since you're being inspired, you should add more red/orange/yellow instead of purple. The weird gray splatter looks funny and out of place. Maybe if you got rid of the purple and gray splatter, used the burn tool on the background and smudged some orange-ish hues, it would look more like a fiery blaze.

Made another LP for my portfolio. Link took soo long to vector. Especially because I couldn't find any stocks of him in his purple costume, so I had to use the one of him in green and make my own colors. ;o;

That looks a lot better. It would look even better though if you didn't have fuzzyness above the text and kept it the same type of style as on the right side of the tag. Now can you rate mine? ;o;
