As far as well know, it was an RNG event. Basically just a random slaughter to speed the game along. Unfortunately it killed off active players and not the inactive ones.
 
My only reasoning for maybe not going for Juno might be that the Purge happened because we went after her. Maybe she's the Reaped secret role? Her getting voted for activated the Purge and spared her life. That's kind of my only iffy reasoning for not going for her. :/ I just wouldn't want to activate it again because clearly we have some dead weight in the game.

My other proposal would be we vote for the least active players. Considering that they aren't really interested in playing and I prefer people wanting to be involved...

Arx was now killed on Night Zero so GreenFlame is back in the game.

Also I just reread eros's post:

"damn it." I said to myself, overseeing the game from a sheltered room above the arena. "They know too much already, I messed up... shenanigans will be furious with me." Pacing up and down the room, I looked down on the tributes who were currently quarrelling amongst themselves about the information released. Then it struck me. "Time for..." I paused as I headed for the door to the arena, and grabbed my coat as I did so, "...a purge." I flipped a switch as a left the room.

So maybe the purge happened because we were going after Juno, not because she's a secret role but because things were moving too quickly with us on the trail of the careers?

Arx is still in the GM posts, which is why I assumed that. Oops.

And hm... maybe. I think Eros was referring more to gimmepie though because apparently two clues led to his reveal, while Eros admitted the message in a bottle clue was flubbed - which led him to letting me post my PM to prove my innocence, since he messed up.
 
Hello! This right now is one of my favorite moments in Mafia: getting to continue in the game!

Also I feel really suspicious of Klippy for defending gimmepie, who we now know was a career.

I am a proven innocent, amigo. Though I am naturally inclined to trust gimmepie, as he's a good friend of mine. I have a hard time doubting him usually. :'(

My proof is Eros let me reveal my PM - which was shown here.

As for Gunner, she was suspected by a few people and others are assuming Juno is bad because of the Message in a Bottle puzzle, which Eros felt was a bad clue or badly designed, so it's iffy on her too.
 
Why I get the feeling Klippy is the one being described in the OP.

And, just a thought, would it be possible that some of the roles were changed? Because if that is the case, we should think cautiously about lynching Juno, or Klippy.

We know they were Careers judging by the hints given, but what if Eros changed some of the roles during the purge?
 
But if Klippy has fabricated PMs before would he intentionally do so again? He knows better than anyone that he can, and that others know he has. With that in mind, it seems logical to presume that Klippy's PM is more likely real, otherwise Klippy may as well hang himself here and now. No, I still want to believe Klippy's the Medic until hard proof comes along to say he's not. But the remaining thing is that Juno and Gunner are both still suspects.

Changing the subject, has no one even thought about the fact I was poisoned? This means they are able to use some kind of ability that can silence us or otherwise. But why would I be silenced? Who was I threatening? I need to go back and reread my posts to see if this will help in any way.

I'm not seeing Klippy as a suspicious person just yet, and I'm totally willing to believe he's a medic, but that PM should still be disregarded, and should not count as proof.
 
I'm well aware you can change the text. I offered to screenshot then and still would, but it seems irrelevant at this point.

I still think we need to vote for the least posted people. Kokoro or Reisen. They're neither active or show they wanna play, so let's not kill the people who are here to play.

My vote remains with Kokoro.
