HGSS has such awesome graphics. I love how they kept the Kimono Dance Theater music, Oak and Mary's Talk show music, Team Rocket music. Everything. It's incredible. I can have the volume on high in a Pokemon game again. =D

I always keep the volume turned on when I'm playing any game, unless the music is truly horrible.

And as for Heart Gold and Soul Silver, I'm sure, or at least I hope I'm going to love it as much as, or more than how much I loved Crystal.
It will surely be the best one in the main series of Pokemon games in terms of graphics, sound quality, game-play elements, and new gimmicks.
And I don't know about the story yet, but I'm hoping that it will be better.
I hope they don't ruin the "feel" that the originals gave me, but instead I hope HG/SS makes it better.

I've been playing Crystal version on my flash cart lately, and I can't wait to play HeartGold in September.
I'm going to stay away from all sites with spoilers on them so my experience will be fresh.

Hm, I honestly think there's only two real competitions going on right now.
Fox keeps telling me they're getting the Pixel Contest up, and he says he'll be off to put up this thread and that but he never does.
