Well that would explain it, I interact, am not a kid, and consequently do not know what neopets are. XD

That was my case as well. In 2005 I actually found this site but never joined cause when I was 12 it was just the net. In 2006 I found it again and never joined but then in 2007 I did. Man I should have in 2006....

How long have you been online? o_O; Neopets was all the rage up until grade 8 for me. So around 2004. Eeeeveryone had one. Even people grades above me in high school would reminisce about it before they graduated and I never saw them again. :p

I used to be on neopets daily, then lost all interest, o3o
I go every 9000 + 1 years when im bored , to play games, but being the social butterfly i am, i must talk! except the topics are either laughably bad, or trolls lmfao

But i guess its only natural, its mostly kids who just discovered the INTERWEBZ, and there isn't anything else to talk about

I still have my account surprisingly 8O, eight years old rofl
 
I think my new "main" account was made in... 2005? :( My old one was from 2000 or 2001. *misses it*

I used to check in every year for the Advent Calendar thing but I don't even bother anymore. XD I only play when my other friend gets into it which happens every few years. I get bored quickly but some of those flash games are still pretty fun. :D

Yeah my main was with my cousins who where older then me back in 1999 when I was like 7 years old. They were one of the first ones to actually play it and such. The accounts are gone now but damn they were awesome

I've been online long enough to actually remember the pain of <28.8 kb dial-up. however, in my defense I mainly just used the internet as a resource for school up until about 5 years ago. (that's when I actually branched out and saw that there was a whole other side of the internet for things like this)
 
I remember being in school and yo-yo's were the fad.
 
I hate it when the wandering thread wanders to such a forum. totally confuses my postcount. ._.
 
@Gerri: Ouch. :( My parents didn't even bother with anything before 56k. They tried and the main AOL webpage took like half an hour to load with their preview so they were like "screw that" and ignored internet for a few more years. XD; I didn't get into the internet myself until 1999 or 2000.
 
It was rather difficult to use back then, thankfully I still had those, um what are they called now ... Oh yeah! Encyclopdia sets! By the time I actually got one fact up on the internet, I had already found another fact in the encyclopedia and written about that in the paper I was writing.
 
LOL. Encyclopedia sets are bulky. Dictionaries are like the smaller version. XD

Thank goodness for the Web. I still remember the time (LOL 2003) Where I used dial-up to play an MMORPG, and then had to use (Old and musty) encyclopedia and book sets that my aunt had for reasearch. :P

Oh and what I meant by "Kids who don't interact" in Neopets is the fact that there is rarely a place to interact (AKA like this forum/message board) and you can't even exchange ITEMS! @_@
 
I had Encarta for computer encyclopaedia purposes. I never really used the internet for research until wiki came along. It was too hard to find reputeable resources that schools would accept.
 
Back in the Celebrations forum again? Asides from Chibi's upcoming birthday, what else is there to celebrate at this time of year?
