The congregations interrupts him with tumultuous applause, along with cheers and, even, declarations of undying love. Shanghai smiles slightly, wiping a tear from his eye, as Azure holds up his hand for silence. "But..." He begins, taking a moment to let the noise die down completely, "I'm back now, and I will be happy to do This, That, and The Other Thing as internetmiko once more."

Once again, applause. Several in the crowd rush forth, embracing him in their excitement. Shanghai takes his seat, openly sobbing now, overjoyed. Several are on their knees, waiting for the long-awaited miko to continue.

"Don't bother with the penance stuff," Azure laughs, seeing the reactions. "I already lashed myself 68.4 times with a kraken's limb..." Looks of fascinated horror. "Attached to a kraken." An appreciative laugh goes through the building, before people begin to suspect that he's not joking. "Not something I suggest doing on a regular basis..."
