Tell us about your last party, gathering, or other social event.

Last party I went to was at my own house (so adventurous!). A friend and I both have birthdays in April and school had just ended so we got together and had almost a joint birthday party. The only thing that made it a birthday celebration was the cake but that's okay. :P There were 5 or 6 of us and we just drank and talked and then I kicked everyone's ass at video games because I can't drink after like 8pm at night so they were all wasted and I was just fine. :P

I'm not really a fan of the parties my friends and I have now because I don't drink much even when I don't have to watch how late it is. (Sleeping pills do not play nice with alcohol.) It's not so bad when it's casual drinking and no one's drunk but when everyone else is getting wasted and I'm sitting there drinking pop, I always feel kind of out of place. :( Oh well.

Yesterday actually! It was a work party since the studio finished up Shogun 2 and the expansions and whatnot.. so they rented out a place for a night- and we got food and drinks (although I don't really drink much but I had a smirnoff ice and something else that was non alcoholic) and there was even a costume competition haha :3 It was really awesome and a nice way to let your hair down and chat more with co-workers. There was a pretty awesome DJ too haha. A friend and I went out for an hour to the casino; and I was like "hey why not I'll just play with 10 pounds" and I ended up winning 5 pounds <3 So.. it was a good night <3 We got coaches back pretty late so I woke up feeling super lazy today.

Just a standard night out really. Don't do many parties, just night outs. :)

    The usual stuff. Pre-drink > See mates > Drink > See more people/meet people > Drink > Dance (maybe) > ...

My last party party was on graduation two years ago.
My last social event I had was... probably back on Christmas.
I don't know what's defined for a gathering in this case (going out with friends, or something more extravagant?), but the last time I was out with people was yesterday.

The last family gathering I was in was my grandma's birthday. We did the traditional birthday stuff (eating, birthday cake), and after that, I played card games with my cousins.

The last 'social event' that I went to was the day before yesterday. A friend from university rang me out of the blue and asked if I wanted to meet up. A few hours later, lots of other friends had joined us and it had become an impromptu gathering, which was kinda cool.

The last 'gathering' that I went to was a night out to celebrate the end of law school exams. There were about 150 of us all in this bar in the West End of London, although I only ended up talking to a few of them. Still, it was a good time.

The last 'party' that I went to was at the beginning of December: it was a sort of Christmas party at one of my friends' house where we exchanged our Secret Santa gifts and had too much food and mulled wine and made too much noise so the neighbours started complaining. Oh, and cheesy Christmas music; lots of cheesy Christmas music.

The usual stuff. Pre-drink > See mates > Drink > See more people/meet people > Drink > Dance (maybe)

I've never understood the idea of "pre-drinks". If you're going to drink at the party, why do you need to show up already half in the bag? It seems excessive and silly to me... but I've never really been in the party culture anyway lol.

Anyway, in answer to the question, the last party I attended was on March 18th. It was a 21st birthday party for my friend Brooke, and it was at 11am on a Sunday. Wild, right?

It was themed as the Mad Hatter's tea party from Alice in Wonderland so basically we just talked and ate and played boring trivia games while eating, dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland.

My friends and I... we like to live on the edge.

The last party where I wasn't forced to go to because of family reasons was about 6 years ago. I went to my friends birthday party. It's kinda sad of me that I haven't been to another...
It's exactly the same for me. Forever alone.

I hate everyone so I don't attend parties, but last ~social gathering~ was with my family for Easter. My ghetto cousin brought her baby and it was all around a pretty terrible time full of family members trying to make conversation with me when they clearly don't want to and asking me my least favorite questions like, "Where are you going next year for school?" "Any BOYFRIENDS yet?" "Going to Prom!?!?!"

    Die please.

Last party was Friday night for my friend's birthday. We tried to make him jello shots but were absolutely terrible at it, so we had rum and cokes and watched The Room Rifftrax and then Skyped with random people on friend lists and ordered pizza and stuff. It was super fun. We kept teasing the birthday guy cause he's colorblind ("what color is your rum and coke?").

Oo-er. If gatherings include funerals...well, one of those. Way to bring a downer on the thread xD

I can't actually remember my last party. Must have been a good night in that case, hah :P

Uhh... a friend's birthday in like... elementary school. rofl

Unless you count my own birthdays, which were never really parties to begin with. Then it would be a few years ago. Haven't been able to afford birthdays lately.

@beca Oh, well if we're counting funerals... my grandma's a couple months ago. My uncle just died as well, but thankfully he didn't want a funeral.

    ... I am sad now.

Last one I went to was around a few months back in February where I basically ditched school for the day to go drinking with a few friends at the time to take the edge off after an utter **** fest of a month at the time, the party turned into chaos soon enough after one of us got so drunk they started waving their 1 inch piece of boyhood around like it was something to be proud of before throwing fists in the air like they just didn't care and before you ask no it wasn't me who was getting this intoxicated sadly. But yeah I bailed out soon enough and walked home with enough given time, I was tired as hell by the time I got back but I was glad I just got out of there to begin with.

Last party? Dunno. Probably that semiformal Christmas party on campus back in 2010.

Last social event, if you want to call it that, was an anime convention last month (Mar. 31 - Apr. 1.) That was a lot of fun, and sadly probably the last bit of fun I'll have for awhile.

Man, having a boring life sucks.
