i'm not MASSIVELY into it myself, just a little here and there. i only even don't like Ray/Lat because I hate Ray to begin with. but whatever, i'll just not talk about it since nobody else gives a hoot.

uhh... shinies... I like shiny latias, but I don't like shiny Latios too much. Sea green just... doesn't fit, at least in my mind.

Anyways, I'm off. Got a date with a copy of Crysis.

Yeeeesh... PC's server is driving me nuts. >~< If it seems like I'm rather inactive, most of the blame goes to the fact that I can't even access the site half the time...

lol, Crysis, eh? I remember that game. Horrendous system requirements though, I suppose I should be happy I can run it smoothly on high. How about you?

yes, you should. I have to run it on medium-low settings to get smooth gameplay, and even then it lags during cutscenes and stuff. I've GOT to get a new card, i'm thinking the Geforce 8800GTX, it's supposed to run it really good.

has anybody made a topic about Latis and video games? (excluding Pokemon ones, of course.) If not, they should.

What would be Latios' favorite genre of games? Latias'?

For Latios, I'm thinking FPS or flight-simulation. Latias would probably like party games or quirky things like Portal.

As for the 8800, it will probably do fine, but it depends on the rest of your rig. I've heard that a Core2Duo is nearly necessary to play Crysis on the highest settings, and I'd recommend you have at least two gigs of quality RAM. If you just want to have okay graphics with a good framerate, however, you could probably get away with a good single-core processor. Maybe.

Let me see... Latios, definitely something challenging, like Txteclipse said, probably an FPS. Latias, I can see either something pointless or maybe even an RTS if she decided to put some serious focus into playing. She might also play a fantasy RPG if it had a light enough tone (meaning, something like FF7 is out.)

in which case, all I need to buy is the Video Card itself. I'm already running a Core2Duo and 2 gigs of Ram, but sadly my puny 8600 GS doesn't run crysis quite as well as I'd like. At least it runs Oblivion well, though.

I have an 8800GTS and it works well for me, but I got it back when it was horribly overpriced. Gfx cards have dropped in price like a needle to a balloon. Any 8800-or-later card should do fine, a 9-series if you can afford it.

Hm... I can't think of anything that general, actually, though I can see them playing each other head to head on Brawl, with Pokéballs turned up to high to see if they can get the Latis while they were at it. xD
 
Can I join? I love Latios and Latias! They're so awesome.
 
Latios would like a RPG based off of himself, and Latias would like something violent, maybe with a chainsaw and Rayquaza... Evil deeds of Latias >:)

Team Fortress 2. Mix the cuteness of Pixar and the bloodiest FPS you can imagine, and there you have TF2. Latias would probably need a keyboard mod to play, though, seeing as she only has three claws on either paw.

I can just picture her playing as the demo-man...

*Performs CPR on Lati FC* I saw a shiny Latias on the GTS the other day. The owner wanted something absurd for it, though, so it slipped through my fingers...

Anyways, who here thinks that Latias and Latios will get alternate forms eventually? Like Giratina and Shaymin? I think they could only be weird if it ever happened.

I'd hardly imagine anyone trying to trade a non-hacked, shiny legendary at all, let alone for anything reasonable. :0 I'm surprised you could even see those.

I'm not sure if they would get one, though I think they should. I think it was loosely hinted at the every Pokémon actually did have alternate forms, but I don't suppose that was an official message. I still think it would be awesome. :D Their designs would have to be well thought out though.
 
I think they should have alternate forms, but I kind of think that if they did, they would've been in the R/S/E games.

I mean, honestly, what kind of cool alternate form do you call that? shaymin's a mutant chihuahua-deer-thing and giratina looks like some combination of a penguin, a spider, and a snake.
 
Lol I have a spare shiny Latias I posted on the GTS. I wanted to get a Latias with a Soul Dew for it. D: Because I gave my friend back her Action Replay and couldn't be bothered getting it back to get one. OR I COULD GET ONE LEGITIMATELY ON SAPPHIRE. >:U

I like Shaymin's Sky Form better than her Normal Form. Giratina does look better normally, but his Origin Form isn't terrible.

I think I heard that Regigigas is getting a new form, as well. I think it's called his "Another Forme".
