And of course you got that; Guardian Latios, as seen in the movie and games. I don't know about you, but his eyes do have that intimidating factor about them, so I guess it works either way, be it assassin or divine protector.

As for Latias' feet, I feel the right style is the two/two style, where the gap between the middle toes reaches a lower level so it kinda looks like she's got toes on toes.

I don't know if it came out right, but something like that.

QANTAN pretty much has it. (lol, what you did with the slashes looks right in the text editor, but on the forum I couldn't see what it looked like. xD)

I do the two-two style, and the anime, Sugimori, and manga styles do too.

I literally had to sketch out Latias' feet to remember how I draw them. I have the two claws on the outside longer than the claws on the inside. But the gaps are the same length...as such:

Yeh see? Everyone has a different interpretation.

Anyways, I'm probably going to go for the Volta. method. Gawd, I haven't drawn anything asides from graphs in years.
 
If that's how much variation there is to drawing her feet, I'd hate to see how people draw her brother's feet then...
 
Latios's feet seem pretty standardized. Giant mass of spikes, middle ones gradually get longer than edge ones. Not much you can do to vary that.

Plus Latios doesn't have so much feet as he does fins...
 
Like Lusankya said, Latios is completely different! For one thing, he doesn't really have a tail per se (well, it's kinda pointy there, but not much). But like, the spikes on his feet is more even, compared to Latias's, which sort of resemble V's. His are also angled back more, instead of to the side like Latias's. So in the end I see more consistency when people draw Latios's feet.
 
Yeah, but I think I've seen 4 toed Latioses around as well as some weird variations, but yeah, there is some consistancy there. As you've said, those things are like giant fins, makes him look more like a jet.
 
When Latias is flying she adjusts her feet so they're like airplane tailfins. I thought that was a really cool idea.

Then again, the entire idea of making something so absurdly cuddly and adorable is really cool. =D

I'm toying with the idea of trying to not draw Latias for a month and focus solely on improving my Latios. But I don't think it would turn out very well. xD

When I was learning how to draw Latias, I just looked at official artwork and kept drawing her over and over again. They didn't even start looking good until after a few months. xD (And this was before my deviantART and Photoshop and all that.) I'm not sure where I'm really going with this post, but oh well! I guess I'm just telling myself and everyone else that practice makes perfect (or at least practice makes decent. :P)

Latias looks so cute in all of them, Latias always looks cute to me, though
