Well, we were talking about partners for the Latis who would be good physical walls. The Latis aren't really good candidates for physical-anything. Their specialization mostly been on the special side. That isn't to say, however, that a properly EV'd and IV'd physical-sweeper Latios isn't possible. An Adamant Latios with, like you said, DD and also Dragon Claw can screw many people who try to throw a Blissey in your face.

I'm fairly certain there isn't. Only 4th-gen Pokémon got updated sprites. It's a bit of a shame because I was a little disappointed with Latias's 4th-gen sprite (especially how they messed up her eye color with the new sprites).

HAY BUTTERFLIES! I wonder if Beautifly would make a good partner for Latias. :B Latias is naturally weak to bug types, so having one as a partner may offer some strategic possibilities.

...so long as the Beautifly doesn't turn coat and attack Latias instead that is! :0

So... Has the decision for Latios been reached yet?

Unfortunately not yet. I just took a stroll by the forum again. Final results aren't out yet, but according to the admins there, the numbers are really close, compared to Latias's vote, which was a landslide. Let's cross our fingers!

Time for some fanart. This Latias was originally going to be the main character of R-9WM "Mastermind", but I decided to go with Mewtwo since I already have a Latias in my other fic. "Prime Mechanique," very roughly translated, means "ultimate mechanism." And I forgot the butterfly, dangit.

Anyways, I think I missed the final verdict regarding Latios on Smogon. But unless it's explicitly said so somewhere, I think Latios is unfortunately staying Uber. This means that her little sister will have to face the masses alone. :0

Oh well, she's a tough one, so she should have no problem in the OU tier without her brother. :B

I got Platinum recently, so I'm going to see if I can get Latias over there to test the waters of the Battle Frontier. Heck, I might even soft-reset on my Sapphire for another Latias if I can't trade mine from Pearl. x3 Any other Lati-related news among you guys?
