The Legend of Zelda

Oh man, the graphics for Wind Waker look so clean, I'd love to pick it up if I owned the console! It was one of my favorite games on the GameCube, and I played it a bunch of times with my brother, so I'm sure with the upgrade in graphics it would be even more entertaining! A for the 3DS game, I probably won't get it, but I'm glad that LoZ is still coming up with new things to sell. Even if they're remakes, if they improve upon the originals enough, then I think it's worth the buy. From looking at those two screenshots, it looks like they'll be more than worth it.

I've played Wind Waker on my GameCube once, but I never got to finish it. I was only up to the third dungeon, Tower of the Gods. I have no problem with getting this game again. This time around, I will make sure that I complete the story. As for the 3DS game... I wasn't planning on getting it at first, but after watching the E3 trailer, my mind has changed. xD The game looks a lot of fun, and it would absolutely suck to just miss out on it. I will buy this game the day it's released. If I can't manage to do that, then I will buy it the next day.

Of the big 3 (Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon) Zelda is my favorite followed by Pokemon. I hate Mario.

My favorite Zelda games in order from most favorite to least are;
The 2 Oracles (tied), Awakening, Link to the Past, Minish Cap, Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess (tied), Wind Waker, Ocarina, Majora, the 2 Four Swords games (tied), LoZ, Adventure of Link, Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks.

Mmm, I really want Wind Waker for Wii U too. :3 I hope they include extra bits in there too. ^^ Zelda for the 3Ds looks fun as well. <3

Saaay, how about your favourite items in the games? Mine are the Spinner (at least I think it's called the spinner) from Twilight Princess, the Bombchus, the Gale Boomerang, the Hookshot, aaaand the Magic Rod because that's always fun to use!

Bow and arrow are my favorites. They allow me to hit enemies that are far away, and they can also help solve certain puzzles. The arrow has a lot of variations, such as the ice arrow, light arrow, and the fire arrow, which makes it a very unique weapon. I like bombs, too, because they enable me to break weak walls so that I can visit new places. They're also powerful enough to defeat many enemies. Another of my favorite items is the power bracelet. It allows me to pick up things that are heavy, such as pots, rocks, and skulls.

I absolutely loved Ocarina of Time. Loved it. I've played and replayed that game so, so many times it's not even funny; so much so that I've actually begun liking the Water Temple :x. Definitely my favorite on the Zelda-scale by a long shot for nostalgic reasons. I think game play / visuals wise, my favorite was Wind Waker though. That game was just such an awesome overhaul of the Zelda engine. It was colorful, different, exciting (although, I was about 5 years late to the Wind Waker party. I hated the style at first, but it eventually grew on me when I actually played it :p) and was a complete departure from the OOT mold.

Beyond that, Twilight Princess deserves an honorary mention. The darker plot, the developed version of Link, and the enhanced combat makes it the greater of the Legend of Zelda franchise. Haven't played Skyward Sword though cause I'm poor, so I'll get back to you on that lol.

The Gust jar was by far my favorite item. The ability to suck up useful items like rupees, hearts, and just about anything else Link could possibly use to his advantage. All jokes aside though, the Gust jar could actually be the worst item ever created. It was absolutely hilarious, and I could not stop laughing as my brother tried to use it. Seriously, though, the Orcarina of Time is obviously one of the most iconic items in all of video gaming, and I loved what they did with it in the series. Much superior to its relatives in Wind Waker, this instrument captivated my heart as well as many others that played it in game.

Oh gods...
Oh gods, why am I talking about this...

I REALLY don't wanna ask this but... has anyone played or known about the Zelda games for the CDi? >///<

In from Left to right: Link: The Two Faces of Evil, Zelda's Adventure, & Zelda the Wands of Gamelon.

A little fun fact?
They're very well known to be the worse Zelda games in existence, ahaha. You may be wondering: THERE'S A BAD ZELDA GAME? Yes, there is! And these are it, imo. =(

Well... I know those...CD-I "games" but I havent played them. I did watch the AVGN episode of them and that gave me all the info I need from those... Everything is wrong with these games... But to be fair the music is sorta good at times.

Am I the only person alive who has never beaten a Zelda game? Tried Ocarina of Time, couldn't last for more than 30 minutes. Played it again a few months ago on the 3DS, took me weeks to figure out how to get Link to turn into an adult. A few seconds after he turned into an adult I learned that I literally have no ****in clue what to do so I gave up. Haven't touched a Zelda game since. I refuse to look at online guides.

I've ran into The Faces of Evil in a CD shop many, many years ago, but I didn't bother to pick it up. I'm glad I didn't, though. If I did, then my view on Zelda games would've changed forever. I'm sure. xD"

I agree with Kyrul, I don't like being stuck for hours on end trying to figure out something without a guide. I still recognize Zelda as great gaming franchise, it's just not for me.

Ocarina of Time.
i used to play this when i was really young. my friend had already finished the game and i would just wear the desert tunic around because i thought Link looked awesome in red. :)

im not really big on the series. but i did like the exploration side of it. (as a child)
i cannot wait to get my 3ds when X & Y come out. that way ill be able to play it all over again. :)
