I continued with my journey with my next battle, Blue.
This battle wasn't really hard, my Pikachu survived with half of his HP so that was better than i expected.
After that i beated quickly the Five trainers in the bridge and also the Team Rocket Member.

Thx to all the EXP my Pikachu leveled up to LVL 25 and i kept defeating more and more trainers that made my Pikachu level up once again and he learned Thunderbolt!
I went to Billy's house, defeated another Team Rocket Member and went to Vermillion city. I got my bike vouche and i went to SS. Anne. I did a bit of battles with just 2 trainers and defeated Blue, getting the MO cut


and finally..i was ready for the gy-
...

I didn't have a Pokemon that knows cut.

Sooo- i had to come back to Cerulean City, Capture a Sandshrew and teach him cut (Also grabbed the bike).
Now..the problem is that this Sandshrew only knew Attacks and not something like Tail whip or Growl so i had to make sure to not make him fight.
I beated the Surge's trainers and i battled his Raichu.
To make sure i don't lose, i used 3 Double team and All my attacks were Quick Attacks. Thx to this, i defeated him. And thx to Arceus that i did that- look at my hp lol

Okay, so start with Geodude. Get Aron after first Gym but before second. Then I add Sulgma, Nosepass, and Lunatone before the fourth Gym. Lileep gets picked up before the fifth Gym, and then Relicanth is right after Gym 7.

I'm only going to really focus on the Elite Four, because I ended up doing this really painful mapping of "if this Pokemon comes out, use this move". Everything up to then was just basically "match the level of the gym's ace and you are good". There's just such a big jump. Wallace's Milotic is level 43. Steven's Metagross is level 58. Sidney, the first E4 member, has an ace at 49 in Absol.

Training for the Elite Four is a bit of a pain, because while I have options from everything to do some good damage to Pokemon in Victory Road, many of them can blow away my team using Roar or Whirlwind...so while the experience I can get is pretty good, it's not consistent, since many battles end with me going bye-bye. Well, I get to L50 with everything before even attempting a first time...and it wasn't pretty. I generally play a little more fluidly - I don't normally like trying to do a lot of planning out in advance when it comes to individual Pokemon on a trainer's team. But this time, it just felt like the best thing to do. Hence why I said "Google Maps" as part of this run's joke commentary at the top. I literally mapped out how to push through with as little damage as possible.

Sidney:
- Mightyena is best taken down with Aggron's Iron Tail...assuming it hits.
- Sharpedo goes down to a good Ancient Power from Cradily.
- Cacturne crumbles under Magcargo's Flamethrower.
- Absol goes down to a couple EQ from Graveler.
- Shiftry goes down like Cacturne to Flamethrower.

Phoebe:
- Dusclops 1: Iron Tail.
- Dusclops 2: Iron Tail, then EQ from Graveler if needed.
- Banette 1, Sableye, and Banette 2: EQ, though sometimes I can usually get off a Rollout to finish up the team

Glacia:
- Glalie 1: Iron Tail or Flamethrower
- Sealeo 1: Relicanth using Ancient Power.
- Sealeo 2: Relicanth using Ancient Power.
- Walrein: Finish up Relicanth until it goes down, then swap to Lunatone and spam Psychic.
- Glalie: Either use Psychic or swap for Flamethrower.

Drake:
- Shelgon: A bunch of Iron Defense to set up for Flygons, then Iron Tail spam, or Metal Claw if needed.
- Flygon 1: Iron Tail / Metal Claw
- Flygon 2: Iron Tail / Metal Claw
- Salamance: Whatever Aggron can still do, then Rock Slide from Magcargo
- Altaria: Cradily using Ancient Power.

Steven:
- Skarmory: Flamethrower go burn.
- Armaldo: Relicanth Surf.
- Aggron: Relicanth Surf.
- Claydol: Relicanth Surf. But this one sucks because of Light Screen. Stupid wall.
- Metagross: The only way I managed to eek this out was because I got lucky enough to get Hypnosis to land, and then swapped for Flamethrower x2.
- Cradily: Hardest attack spam because this is better to be last than Metagross.

All in all, I think I spent about half the time just working on getting through the Elite Four. It was a fairly normal progression, though. Sidney was a problem until I figured out how to get through, then Phoebe became the problem (I couldn't really justify using Lunatone in either because of Dark and Ghost moves OHKOing it). Glacia was a problem if I couldn't withstand Water moves well due to the trio Sealeo/Walrein jammed in the middle. Drake is just...whatever I can do because I don't really have options. I think I could have added Ice Beam or something to Relicanth, but wasn't certain if that was the best option, so I held off. Steven's Metagross is the only real challenge. Putting it to sleep was my best option, and I was so happy he threw it out second to last instead of last.

But hey, got through it.

I got my fourth badge! No moveset changes for my original four team members aside from Meditite finally learning a decent Fighting-type move in Drain Punch, but I caught a Croagunk in the Great Marsh. He was a pain to get, so I'm sticking with this one, even if his nature is suboptimal for the Nasty Plot build I've planned for him later on. I taught him Focus Blast and Toxic via TM, the latter will eventually be replaced once he learns Nasty Plot, but the former is staying on until the end of the game and I've used all three of my PP Ups on it.

Crasher Wake was harder than any of the other Gym Leaders so far, but still went down without too much trouble. His Gyarados led with Swagger and confused Croagunk, and then it used Dragon Rage as Croagunk hurt himself then got a Toxic off. Croagunk shook off the confusion next turn and took advantage of his newly-boosted attack to use Faint Attack, his only physical move. He then got hit by a Bite and another Swagger and used another Faint Attack, this time with +4 Attack stages, to KO Gyarados.

Wake sent out Quagsire, and wasted its first turn on Mud Sport while Croagunk nearly KOed it with two Faint Attacks, before using a Mud Bomb to finally KO Croagunk. I switched to Monferno, and Wake healed his Quagsire, but not enough to stop Grass Knot from KOing it.

Then, Wake switched to Floatzel, his last Pokemon, and, erroneously expecting me to switch out, used Pursuit against Monfero. Monferno hit back with a Grass Knot and dropped it into Sitrus Berry range, leaving it at 70% HP after eating the berry. Floatzel then used Ice Fang, which normally would've been bad but actually froze Monferno this time, and KOed him with a Brine and Pursuit. Then I switched to Meditite, which lost almost, but not quite half of her HP from a Brine and nearly KOed Floatzel with a critical Hidden Power (Grass). The last turn, Meditite nearly fainted to an Ice Fang and KOed Floatzel with another Hidden Power.

Welp, this is going to be a quick update because i had problems with the signal of my internet so i did this a bit fast
After defeating Surge, i quickly went to Cerulean City and quickly runned to route 10
why?
BECAUSE FINALLY I FOUND A MAGNEMITE BOOIIIIII!!

Of course, my mind thought that Steel type excisted in Gen 1 so-...yeah. It wasn't a pain to know about this because i was just happy to have another electric type in my team. But then i found a little problem...T H E D A R K C A V E (Or Rock Tunnel if im not wrong).
Let me explain, to get FLASH you need to catch 10 pokemons. So i brought some Pokeballs and catched the rest pokemons i needed. I was kinda scared of this for making a little mistake and ruin my entire run but this wasn't the case. I also took an entire day to train Magnemite and teached him Thunderbolt with the TM because it was a pain to only have Tackle as an attack
i got my MO Flash, made Magnemite learn it and went to the cave. This cave...gave me pain. Seriously, for a moment i almost lose the challenge. Pikachu and Magnemite got fainted and i only had Sandshrew...luckly the battle was with a wild pokemon and, instead of using any attacks, i pressed the run button. Of course, i didn't escape so i lost but i prefer that to fail all the run (i won't recover the time i spent training that magnemite)
After some time, i exit the cave and i reached Lavender Town.

Update: I'm still doing this, I've edited my sign-up post to add Violet to my Ultimate list.

Currently slogging through Pokemon Red, it's absolutely soul crushing to do a Bug Mono in a Gen 1 game.

Long story short, named my characted Eve, named my rival Aeiris after a friend then it took me way too long to beat Brock and go through Mt Moon and stuff.

As for today...
Just beat Misty and my current team consists of Paras, Beedrill and Butterfree as those are the only bugs you get by that point.

Fun fact: My Beedrill knew Focus Energy and I was using it and never critting so I looked it up and found out that in Gen 1 games, the move is bugged and divides your crit chance rather than multiply it. Fun...

So far, Bide has been an absolute asset of a move that carried me through a lot of bs fights. Oh and Stun Spore + Dig was my way of taking down Misty's Starmie so that's up there on the strats I'm gonna keep abusing.

Update 5 (Pastoria City -> Hearthome Gym)

This was a short segment from a pure gameplay perspective, but a very eventful one since I fully evolved all of my team members! Monferno, Machoke, Meditite, and Croagunk all grew up to become an Infernape, Machamp, Medicham, and Toxicroak out in the wilds near Celestic Town. Infernape also replaced Mach Punch with Close Combat, Machamp learned Brick Break via TM (I should've gotten it after Eterna, but I forgot I could get it with only the bike until now), Toxicroak learned Shadow Ball via TM and Nasty Plot via level up, and finally Medicham learned all three Elemental Punches from the Move Relearner after it evolved. This will most likely be Medicham's final moveset, though she's definitely getting a better held item later.

My rival didn't give me much trouble, but Fantina was the most difficult gym battle yet, mostly because of her absurdly lucky Drifblim. I led with Toxicroak, set up Nasty Plot twice, but after only one Minimize he missed with a Shadow Ball even with the Wide Lens held item, and then it used Minimize twice more, raised all its stats with an Ominous Wind, and fainted Toxicroak before he so much as scratched Drifblim. I switched to Infernape, set Stealth Rock, then tried to hit in vain before it fainted Infernape too.

Luck very obviously not being on my side, I decided to do away with accuracy checks altogether and switched to my No Guard Machamp. Both Pokemon nearly KOed each other with a pair of Rock Tombs and Gusts, and I healed back up after Fantina did. This time around, Machamp 3HKOed Drifblim as it used an Ominous Wind and raised all its stats again, but wasted its last move on Astonish, which did next to nothing.

Fantina switched to Mismagius, which nearly KOed Machamp with Magical Leaf, but Machamp hit back with Payback and 1HKOed it. Then she sent out Gengar, her last Pokemon, and finished off Machamp with a Poison Jab. I switched to Heracross, which got hit and poisoned by Poison Jab while he used Swords Dance, and hit back the next turn with a Rock Tomb to lower its speed. Gengar wasted its last move on Spite, and Heracross outsped on the last turn because of Rock Tomb and KOed it with an Aerial Ace.

Finally, I got a Choice Specs in Celestic Town, one of the few instances in official Pokemon games where choice items are available before the postgame. I can't use it just yet, since my only special attacker requires Nasty Plot setup, but next segment I should have my final team member, who will definitely use it ASAP once I don't need it holding the Exp. Share.

Another gym down, and I got and trained my final party member, Lucario! I'm taking advantage of the midgame Choice Specs to give her a special-attacking moveset, currently with Aura Sphere, Psychic, Dark Pulse, and Water Pulse. I hatched Riolu at Iron Island ASAP after getting surf, fed her a bunch of Kelpsy berries I've been growing to prepare for a quick Friendship evolution, spent a while exploring all the new areas with it holding the EXP share to get her into the high 20s, then had her fight the trainers in Route 221 and solo the Canalave Gym.

Byron was the easiest gym battle yet; Lucario 2HKOed Bronzor with Choice Specs-boosted Aura Sphere (getting mildly damaged by an Extrasensory), and 1HKOed both Steelix and Bastiodon.

The only other moveset changes I made were to teach U-turn to Infernape, and Shadow Claw to Heracross, both via TM very early in this segment.

As we start our journey, I want to mention two other rules. 1., I have to beat all the trainers in every province before leaving, and 2., try to stay in the level caps for all the major fights.


As we begin our electrifying journey, I choose Fuecoco to give Nemona the harder starter against the buzzy bois, but immediately dump my fire croc for the lonely Pawmi we find in Cabo Poco. We name it Yeeja, and move onwards to South Area 1, which has us catching Pichu(Meli), Pachirisu(Felicia) and Oricorio(Helena). After blowing Nemona out of the water in our second battle, we do all the boring stuff in Mesagoza, grab our Tera Ball, get on Miraidon and head off to South Area 2.

Immediately coming to South Area 2, we catch a Mareep and aptly name it Zammy, while also getting a Tadbulb and naming that Gumpy. As we fight all the trainers and eventually Katy, it was all a breeze. Katy being a bug leader, Helena with Air Cutter, she made quick work of the Gym. That's one badge down.

Heading out towards South Area 3, we catch a Shinx(Ted), battle all of the trainers, and have a few of our members evolve. With a beefed up team, we went to the Titan Klawf, but was just as easy as the bug gym with the newly evolved Pawmot, Arm Thrusting the crab to death. With this, we pause for the night....

This past week, I've was "lucky" enough to get hit with the big sickness for the first time. So, it was rough, and the few moments I felt like I could do something, I was watching a lot of JRose, Scott Thoughts, and so on. But let's get into the rundown when it comes to the game. I only have three I will be using this time. We start with Roggenrola, then we'll pick up Dwebble near Relic Castle, and then also immediately pick up Tirtouga. Wasn't too bad to backtrack, so I have 1 for Gyms 1-3, and then pick up the rest of my party by Gym 4. Of course, quite a bit of training in the middle there.

The first real roadblock was actually Clay, even though I had Tirtouga. I needed to get my entire team to L35 before having a chance to win. It's not that I couldn't manage to make it through, honestly, it was just that it we kinda just wore each other down at about the same rate. Even though I can get to the Cave, there's not much of what I'm starting to call "stable training". To me, there's a few types of training: "stable", "rough", and "amazing".

Amazing training is like when everything you can train on in an area just goes down to whatever you got. You don't have to worry about going to the PC that often.

Rough training is the opposite. You may get a battle or two and then need to head to the PC. Nothing you do makes training go fast.

Stable training is sort of int the middle. Route 6 is a more on the grass type side of things, but while I can do a bit of damage, I maybe get a couple of battles in before needing to return to Driftveil City to heal up. So, it just slows the battles down. Makes me wanna track how long I'm training in each area and see how long the sections take.

Gyms 6 and 7 are super easy, and afford quite a bit of experience. Gym 8 is basically just spam Rock type moves because I can. The final battle with Cheren, I lose once because I forgot to heal, but then make it through. Then, just a quick push through Victory Road. Somehow, I'm actually remembering my way through this one.

Elite Four are a bit of a pain. Caitlin is the easiest due to spamming X-Scissor, but even though I made it there at L50 for my team, I ended up needing to reach L60 to make it through the entire League. I do have two mons that had acccess to Dark type moves, so that does help with Caitlin and Shantal. The Dark type E4 member takes a little more than just X-Scissor, but it was way easier around L60. Fighting was actually not that bad of a battle, just strongest skills and that's about all you can do.

The battles with N and Ghetsis are sort of simplistic. I did have to waste a bunch of turns to let Reshiram faint. Zekrom goes down to Bulldoze. Zoroark comes out next, albeit looking like Klinklang, so I do some more Bulldoze to take it out. Carracosta comes up next to try and take down my Gigalith, but I swap to my own Carracosta and spam some Aqua Tail. From there, Klinklang is out and I take it down with Rock Slide (which gets a nicely timed crit). Vanilluxe goes down to the same, and then Archeops goes nighty night to Aqua Tail.

I actually miscounted going up against Ghetsis, because when his final 'mon goes down, I thought he still had one left. Well, Rock Wrecker takes out Cofragrigus. Bisharp goes down to X-Scissors. Hydriegon goes down to Rock Wrecker. Eelektross is the point I lose Crustle, but I switch over to Gigalith for Stone Edge. Them comes out Bouffalant, which I need to take a few turns on to heal up. Remember, I think this is #4, not #5, so I thought I needed an extra push. Bouffalant goes down to some Stone Edge, then Seismitoad comes out. I switch to Carracosta while it uses Rain Dance. A few Aqua Tails and I've got another win.

The battles with N and Ghetsis are sort of simplistic. I did have to waste a bunch of turns to let Reshiram faint.

I would prefer that, next time, you get a full party for the battle against N so you don't have to do this. (They don't have to actually be good, just there to take up slots so that you don't have to lead with a Pokemon you can't fight with.) Even if you don't, N's Reshiram/Zekrom uses two moves with only 5 PP, so it's better to switch out if you do end up stuck with a wrong-type box legend on your side of the field.

I've added notes in the game-specific rules for BW and XY for these exact situations just now. (XY does the same thing with Lysandre's last battle, and he leads with a Mienshao that can potentially Swords Dance -> High Jump Kick into KOing itself if you don't immediately switch out Xerneas/Yveltal.)

Your run is still qualified and I'll be editing it into the HOF after I post this, but just something to keep in mind for future runs.

Are you using any romhacks to add the Fairy type? Red, Gold, Ruby, and Black don't have the Fairy type at all so it's not possible to do a mono-Fairy run in the vanilla games. (In any case, they're also not required for the Game Mastery challenge for those games, for obvious reasons.)

You can straight up skip Johto/Unova if you don't want to use romhacks (though if you do want to, I highly recommend Blaze Black 2 Redux for Unova), and skip Kanto if you don't want to play LGPE, but at the very least you will need to play a Hoenn game with the Fairy type, such as ORAS.

So, here was my thought. Since they weren't required, I was just going to do them with the ones that became Fairy type. If we're just going to track OR, Y, Sun, and BD, that's fine. I'll do the others on the side and won't track them. I'm used to doing all 7 somehow lol

They would not count as a monotype run since they aren't actually the same type in those games. You are welcome to do a "those that become Fairy" run, but I'd like to ask that you take it to a separate thread to track it, since they aren't Fairy-types in-game.

That being said, if your not-yet-Fairy-types end up being the same non-Fairy type, you're welcome to post here as part of a different type's monotype. (e.g. the only Pokemon in BW that becomes Fairy is Cottonee/Whimsicott, so it'd be a de facto mono-Grass run. You'd have play in Free Mode to hack/trade it as a starter though, since Snivy's available as a starter already.)

Been a while huh?

Heartgold ground mono part 4:

Spent a while training Rhyhorn to level 30 then headed for Mahogany town.
There I went north to the lake of rage, quagsire and steelix handled most of the trainers. At the lake Quagsire hit some tail whips to lower defence and graveler finished off Gyarados with rock blast.
The rocket hideout wasn't much of a problem. 90% of team rocket is zubat, grimer, koffing and rattatta with some magnemite. Steelix Graveler and Rhyhorn are just built to smash them even Sandslash did some good damage.

I mean what do you want me to say? Zubat, Koffing and Raticate vs one steely boi. Steelix wins.

I actually did more for this fight than Lance did. Quagsire took care of most things but i swapped in Steelix when Arianna sent in Vileplume just in case. I don't remember movesets all the time. Fight was still simple enough in the end.

Headed back out and through the gym. Rhyhorn took out most of the trainers
VS Pryce, Attempt 1:
hax, hax and more hax. Steelix finally finished seel after a load of misses and crits then piloswine froze Quagsire with blizzard and proceeded to sweep my team.
Attempt 2:
This time I led Sandslash and after 4 crush claws, 1 rest and a cut. Sandslash knocked out Seel. Steelix managed to screech + rock tomb dewgong before going down. Sandslash hit it low and went down he then healed as Rhyhorn missed a rock blast. So Quagsire had to put it to sleep with it's new Yawn move then mud bomb it a ton for the KO. Knowing how much damage Piloswine's blizzard did from the first attempt I healed Quagsire before finishing dewgong then Quagsire one shot Piloswine with a critical hit Surf.

Alrighty, Day 2-ish.

After the beatdown of the Titan Klawf, we proceed to easily beat Brassius, as the same strategy as Katy was implemented here. Almost too easy...

Then once finished with the, we went towards West Area 1. We grabbed a Thunder Stone and accidentally evolved Mela into a Raichu instead of Grumpy into a Bellibolt, so kind of contemplated life for a while after that. Continued to fight all the trainers and went to Titan Bombirdier. Being a team full of electric types, it was a breeze.

Immediately after was the Team Star Dark base. With our trusty Yeeja, we sumo'd the base into submission.

With us heading to East Area 1 and 2, we caught a Magnemite(Hins), Pincurchin(Groupon), Wattrel(Enel) and Rotom(Hank). After lots of switching while fighting the trainers, they're all pretty even in level (23-25) and we go to destroy our favorite streamer, Iono.

...easy. Mela just Double Team + Nasty Plot + Agility and swept. I was not risking having my first Pokemon faint on this stupid fight. But eh, easy.

Star Fire Base wasa cinch using our new Bellibolt and Pincurchin, we caught a Voltorb(Rola) in East Area 3, beat up the bully Titan Orthworm, fought all the trainers between here and West Area 2 and Asado Desert, and gambled our money to buy some rare ingredients for Kofu. And as we sit in the waiting room to start our next gym battle, we rest for the night...

Day 3 (and possible end) As we last left our adventurers, we were staring down Kofu, as we get ready to tackle his gym challenge. The fight was probably the easiest fight, just due to the nature of electric vs water. So let's just skip past the battle. We took a cool ass picture though, so that's nice. After Kofu, I went back to the areas that didn't have a gym associated with them, and cleared out the battle. Like South Area 4 and 5. We caught a Toxel in SA4 and named her Wahhy, then moved on to a famous nuzlocke destroyer, Atticus and the Poison Base. It was easier than usual, since we had not only a newly evolved Magnezone, but also a Toxtricity and quite a few members learning ground moves. I also didn't get RNGd and get poisoned, which was actually amazing. Afterwards, we head off to Larry. On our way through West Area 3, we caught an Eevee(Zoomies) and evolved into a Jolteon before even using. Also grabbed a Dedenee(Rat). Around this time, many of our members evolved, including an Ampharos, Kilowattrel, Electrode, and Luxray. At this point, we have obtained all the legal PALDEA native mons, except for one, which we will get when we get to a higher level. As we cook ourselves a nice riceball and eat it with Larry after his defeat, we roam around Dalizapa Passage and beat all the trainers, along with everyone in Glaseado Mountain. But this is part of the game where if you're doing a lot of switch training, you will actually be under leveled for the gym. So after some auto battling, we take down Ryme and her spooky goons, and the mysterious Titan Donphan? that was rolling around in the desert. As we make our way through South Area 6, we beat Nemona upon arriving in the gym building. And after a long day, we take a good night's sleep.... (The next update will probably be my last for this challenge, so I may edit this post as to not spam multiple messages in a row.)

Spoiler: Day 4 and Finale

Well, with that, we beat the game. But first, an update on our travels... Before taking on Tulip and the Psychic gym, we went into the sea and found a Tynamo. Aptly named him Feesh and will soon become a core member of the party and run. After doing our ESP training, we get to Tulip who was a little more intimidating than I remember. We don't have much to beat out psychic types, other than Pawmot Bite and Luxray Bite. So we had to do a lot of pivoting with Ampharos and Pincurchin, who are quite bulky. Using Toxic a lot, we barely come out with a win and was the hardest battle so far. Then, we backtrack back to Glaseado Mountain, where Grusha was waiting for us. His gym test allowed us to just afk and not touch a single button, and easily clear it. For the battle itself, it wasn't difficult. Using Ampharos who had Power Gem, along with Fire Punch from Eelektross and Pawmot, it was a breeze. All gyms complete! But immediately afterwards, we go to Ortega and the Fairy Base. With our trusty Magnezone, it didn't matter whether they were physically or specially defensive, he mowed through all of them. Another badge, get! According to level caps, Eri and the Fighting Base was next. Usually the hardest, was kind of easy due to our Kilowattrel and Oricorio. Ampharos and Dedenee also did plenty of work with their fairy moves. With that, one last badge to go. Small fish. Big fish eat small fish. Feesh beat big fish. Big fish spit out small fish. Feesh beat small fish. Final badge, get! Now with the endgame in sight, we do the fights in the following order: Clavell>Elite Four>Geeta>Arven>Penny>Nemona This is so we wouldn't be overleveled for any of the fights other than the first 2 Elite Four members.

The Elite Four, for the most part, was 50/50. Rika gave me the most trouble, as being a ground trainer. And Hassal was a hassle, with his Excalibur. But otherwise, it went fine, and Geeta was also a breeze.

Arven's biggest threat was the Toedscruel, who can outspeed the majority of my team, and also being immune AND having Spore. But we manage to beat him out.

Nemona can be a bit scary, but we had a well balanced team to take out each of her mons. No hassle at all.

As we get the call to head to Area Zero, I made a team solely for the Turo fight, and decided to not level everyone, as that'd be a waste. If I maybe do the DLC, then we'll throw them back into the party and level them up.

Now, for the fight itself, overall it was an average battle. Our Feesh was able OHKO the Iron Moth, Iron Thorns done in by Gumpy, and Iron Jugulis by a well placed Thunder from Zammy. Iron Hands was a bit of an issue, as Gumpy was a bit low and didn't outspeed, so I did as much damage as I could and killed with Enel. Iron Bundle was went and died to Zammy's Thunder.
Iron Valiant was an issue. Enel missed his Hurricane and ended up dead. Then I got a good paralysis off from Gumpy and sacrificed him using Mud Shot and Chilling Water. That was enough damage for my favorite, Zammy, to beat with a Dazzling Gleam. And with that, Mono Electric is finished!

To be honest, this was my second mono electric run I've done, I completed one on stream before. But knowing which mons I can get early, and try to incorporate all of the Electric types, it was fun. I wanted to get Hisuian Voltorb, since there was an event outbreak, but I felt it wasn't fair since it wasn't native to Paldea. I also could have farmed for the Rotom Catalogue, but I felt constantly changing Rotoms type was also unfair, so kept him as the original form. I will keep the save for now, and may revisit to do the DLC. But with the credits being seen, this is now a complete run!
