But yes, I'm here to welcome you so um, hiya! I'm happy you didn't lose faith in this forum. :D I mean if I were the thirteen year old kid that I was when I started posting here, I would have gotten real depressed for stuff like that. So you're awesome for not being thirteen year old Cid! Haha. Well, what did I expect anyway? A fellow Pokémon fan is automatically a cool person for liking the franchise. (b'')b And this place is filled to the brim with them. So you're gonna enjoy this place a lot, if you immerse yourself as much as you can~

I also got into the franchise even more when I watched the anime, so I can totally relate when you say that you loved it from the first episode. Do you still watch the anime? Or are you more of a game person? Speaking of which, you must have a favorite game of the series. What is it? Okay, too many questions. XD;

It's really unfortunate that there aren't too many fellow Pokémon fans in Dubai. I actually have the same problem here in the Philippines. Pokémon fans of my age come by once in a blue moon here, even if you count every single person I get to interact with. So I'm also alone with the games and have no people to trade with, too. Still, how about you try interacting with people here in PC? I mean we might just have another member from Dubai who's fairly active. And even if we don't, you still have us for company. :) So don't feel sad.

Ohh, so you got into the franchise with the anime? That makes me happy to hear - PC is always happy to welcome all kinds of fans, be it game, anime, manga, cards, merch, or other Poke-lovers, into its ranks. I loved the anime too and have been watching it since the early days in Kanto. <3; You have a ton to watch (assuming you still keep up) and hopefully you can participate in some discussions over at the Pokemon Anime section here, yep! That'd be wonderful!

Aww, I'm sorry you don't have many Pokemon-related activities to partake in over there, but hey, that's what forums are for, right? I'm in New York so we're nowhere near each other but I think I have seen others from Dubai around PC. If you have WiFi you can always trade with some of our members. :3 There are many open trade shops that you can stop anytime if you're interested and looking to fill your Pokedex/get your favorite Pokemon. There's also the wonderful Battle Center and its many events/tournaments that you can participate in as well; we use Pokemon Showdown as our battling platform so you can easily create your favorite team over there. No need to go out of your way to create the team you want in your games!

I know how you feel ,Charziard fan 4 life, I live in a vast and unusual place called The Middle of Know Where A.K.A. Birmingham. I got in to pokemon when my brother gave me my first pokemon game and a gameboy advanced. I checked out your profile thingy and I think you might want to put more stuff about yourself like what other things you enjoy besides pokemon. See ya!

You're from Dubai eh? What's it like over there? I'm from Australia, which is not that far but not exactly near you. I've been a general fan of Pokemon since I was 7, and while I may be in my 20's my interest for Pokemon has never died out, and it's still as great as ever. I used to watch the anime regularly, but sadly the anime's viewing schedule got so screwed in Australia I rarely watch it outside of online anime-viewing sites. I feel sorry you have no Pokemon-related activities near you, but that;s where PC comes in, we have fans from all over the world!

Since I heard you like the anime a lot, you should partake in the various discussions in Pokemon Anime. It even has subforums for discussing episodes and characters too, so definitely check them out. Since you also like trading and battling, you should pop by our popular Trade Corner and Battle Center sections, which are heavily booming in active members. Trade Corner is the one-stop section if you're in need of a certain Pokemon, whether it'd be in the Quick Trade Thread or the various trade shops. Battle Center has some neat competitive battling discussion, tournaments you can take part in, and also get your team rated. There's also a Pokemon Showdown server where you can chat and battle with fellow PC members, located here.

Have a fun time here, and feel free to ask those staff members with the blue/orange/red names if you need help. I'd also be happy to get to know you, so just send me a VM if you want anything.

I see that you also live in Asia, but that's quite unfortunate that you don't have anyone to trade or battle with in your local area; However, you shouldn't be too depressed. I bet there are also members who live in Dubai, or maybe somewhere in the UAE. If there aren't any though, you still have the community, right? Don't worry, we're there for you! :)

Ah! A fan to the Pokémon Anime I see. I watched it ever since the Kanto days, but I somehow stopped watching during the Adventures in the Orange Islands because I wasn't interested to it at that time; I returned though at Master Quest (yes, I just skipped three seasons) and I had the spark of interest lit up once again. I was able to watch every episode of almost every series after Master Quest until BW series; the new episodes didn't appeal to me that much, but I did watch some a bit. My favorite series in the Pokémon Anime was the Advance Generation series. It introduced lots of things to the Pokémon Anime, and I like May being the female companion of Ash. How about you? What's your favorite series in the Pokémon Anime?
