It's not written in stone (Actually nothing really is xP) but it's a possibility.
 
And a very likely one because of the shape of the mansion and the statue.

By the way, have you noticed the hero is not scared of the statue in Backlot's house, which is the same as the one in the Chateau?
 
Something that has been bugging me is that it says that you got your fingerprints on the statue. There must be a reaction that happens because you touched it. If nothing were to happen it'd most likely say "It's a very expensive looking statue" and nothing else. I honestly think that if there is a third installment , it will give us the info we need. I hope the movie does talk about the chateau.
 
Maybe it will I saw the trailer for it but, it was based at a sea side city(hard to tell due to poor resolution). So it's maybe, maybe not.

That was kind of old, but, yeah, you're right. Cool new theme, by the way, the last I saw you was when you had the black and white....Drifblim, was it?

Something I've been thinking about: If Rotom is from the family, though you can catch it, why would it stay there forever? Especially inside the TV? Doesn't it want to look for its former 'family'? And why would it like this building anyway? Don't they live in natural environments? Unless it's like Zapdos, who apparently liked Power Plants.
 
Maybe this thing has something to do Darkrai? Darkrai could of destroyed the place and forced the residents to remain as ghosts.
 
Darkrai can use other things though. such as spacial rend and roar of time... the event one did I believe. He could of used that. As for killing through dreams. Coma. Being in a coma is'nt a dream really but Darkrai is powerfull he could force comas.

I know this seems like a noob question, but do you need the national dex to get Rotom?

Im not a fan of legedary's but Rotom doesnt seem very legendary.
My party is Empoleon, Drifblim, Happiny, (lvl 40 lol), and Bronzong and i have two eggs haha

yes you do you, which is pretty lame as only the game legendary, azelf, uxie and mesprit can be caught befor the indigo plateu.

If there is some mystery to solve, then it would more likely be explained in the Japanese version.

Has someone translated relevant bits of info to the Old Chateau in the japanese game?
 
I don't think there is more information in the Japanese version. Why would it be? Anyway, where could you get the information anyway?

However, in Emerald, in Faraway Island, the sign in the Japanese version was partially signed saying "...Ji" (probably Mr. Fuji) but it was omitted in the English version. This is the only case I know, though.
 
i saw the people floating in the old chatue it really freaked me out i went ho my god are these dead poeple here on the game how you find gengar i put my fire red in but no luck do you need him the pokedex natdex please help me someone
