I would ask him if he wants to be my first pokemon, yes I would like to have a Pikachu as my first Pokemon, no Charmander, no Lugia, yes even Lugia can't take the place of Pikachu as my first pokemon.

I agree in every RPG I played in Pikachu has always been my first Pokemon, Thats why I got Pokemon Yellow insted of Red or Blue.
