Sorry, but it's so frustrating to repeat the same things over and over to people who don't seem to be listening.
 
By two lines I mean two lines...two paragraphs is at least eight lines by PC standards. And really, is that RP sample of your getting any longer? This is the last time I'm going to ask...
 
Aww, Melody's a good name. XD But all of your Pokemon have great names, so I'm sure you'll find something. ^^ +snuggles them+
 
Aww, come on Agent9, he was just asking you to change one thing. You don't have to leave the RP because of it.

Besides that, I don't think that Alter Ego is making/enforcing all of these rules to be mean or overbearing. He's doing them so that we don't have a bunch of ignorant, annoying people participating in our RP (like those silly people at my adoption thread that wouldn't listen even if I put my text into gigantic, red, italics). He's obviously really excited about doing this, and he wants it to turn out alright, not get all spammy or die after the first week. So to ensure its success, he's made things clear and organized.

However, if you feel it's too much work, then you are certainly able to count yourself out.

Next Saturday morning... so Ego's in Europe... and I'm on the west coast of the USA like Minako... so... that would be... *thinks* *is stupid* *looks up info on the Internet* about 10 hours difference... so 7:00AM would be 9:00PM the previous day here in the west US. Wow, I'm gonna get sleepy doing this... ^^
 
Agent9: It's true what Melissa is saying. A lot of effort has been put into this RP, not only by me, and I want it to turn out well, which can only be possible if those participating put in some actual effort. I do find it strange how you consider it too strict of me to actually enforce the rules I put up. I don't know what you're used to, but I tend to mean what I say unless there's an XD in there in which case you can call it reasonable doubt. And quite frankly, I can't see how you'll pull through to the end of an RP this big if you can't put together even four lines of text. But by all means, if you consider me a terrible bullying meanie who picks on people and puts up rules just to be a pain in the Bronx and don't want to improve your sign-up then by all means feel free to stay out of the RP. I'm not forcing it on anyone, and I don't enjoy fluking people, but that doesn't mean that I'll accept people who can't be bothered to read what they're signing up for, that might seem unfair to you but it would be unfair to those who have actually put some real effort into it if I didn't stand by this principle.

Minako: My nicknames are good? Aww...thanks. ^^ Although I only nicknamed half of them myself, um...the smaller half of the seven nicknamed ones. The rest is all Plushie, which is also why I want to nickname some of them on my own for a change. ^^

And concerning the timezone; mine is 3 hours ahead of GMT, so those participating are free to calculate what the time over there would be. Maybe if I could get some kind of idea where I have you all I could alter the precise starting time to accomodate as many of you as possible.

Satoshi-san, I got a PM from you but I still see only one line of personality. Please understand, I put those minimums there for a reason.
 
I am doing my best with thinking of the personality sure (which is now three lines) and I have put down everything that needed to be, as in my opinion it doesn't require a back story; I'm going for the premise of it as a wild pok?mon and as for other there is nothing else to write. :classic:

Well, once this RP starts I'll be online for as long as I can. It will be a weekend so the parental patrol will hopefully be a bit more lax in checking on my computer usage. Anyway, I'll try to make sure that no-one is left too far behind in the dust.
 
Rioku: Get up and do some real edits. You've added two lines so that we've got about one or two words on the fourth line. That's not four lines, and at any rate it's never a good idea to aim for the minimum. Come on, just put some real descriptiveness into it, preferably dialouge as well. As it is, there's no feeling in your text.

Agent9: If there's something unclear about the rules then the general thing is to just ask. We do seem to have some communication problems here...-_-
 
Um.... my parents are pretty strict. 9:30 PM (I'm GMT+1 exactly) is about the time I need to get off. They think being on the computer is baaaaaad, so I get kicked off early.
I normally go out Friday, but sometimes I go out saturday aswell. So I might not even be in by 9 PM! I'm so awkward...

Rioku, it's supposed to be four lines in an actual post. Not on the little window you type the stuff up in. If you aren't sure about the length then klick the 'Go Advanced' button and you'll see a preview of your post. But by all means, if adding to lines is all the effort you are willing to put in then maybe it's best if you don't join. Actually finishing an RP takes perseverance.

But Ego on my computer where the part showed up it is more than 4 lines . it is 8 lines on my computer.
