The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region

S.S Anne: The Maiden Voyage

The ship was ready for the party and was starting to take in their guests with their tickets. Vanessa and Jen were looking their finest for the party, well Jen didn't think so.

"Just relax Jen, nobody's going to see the stain." Vanessa said reassuring Jen. "Are you nuts? My vanilla ice cream killed my gloves!" Jen said whimpering. "It's not like anyone would care aout gloves." Vanessa said hardily. "Are you crazy! If I care about my gloves right now, what makes you think no ones going to notice?" Jen said shaking Vanessa around like a toy puppet. Vanessa was all dizzy like a top after that.

As they were going crazy at eachother, the attendant came up to the two and asked them, "Are you two here for the party? If you aren't I must ask you to leave." They flashed their tickets to the man and they were allowed onto the ship.

"This is so exciting, it's my first time on a cruise!" said Vanessa. "Really, that's interesting, my first cruise was in Olivine City, and the food was AWESOME!" said jen freaking out dancing around the ship like a child high on sugar.

Vanessa decided to leave Jen alone for a while and went off to the palour, as she was sitting around having a pineapple smoothie, her Tangela and Butterfree were playing tag, which didn't seem that fair while Squirtle and Jigglypuff were playing the love game.

Vanessa walked off and she saw jen, "Hey Jen, do you think you could watch my Pokemon for me?" Vanessa asked. "Sure, that'll be fine!" jen said while having another cocktail and laughing kind of creepy like.

She walked onto the sides of the ship watching the seas and the view of the S.S Anne. "This has to be one of the most memorable moments of my life..." Vanessa said relaxed. Suddenly a suited man came behind Vanessa and grabbed her by the shoulder. "Things are about to get more exciting my darling..." the man covered with black clothes. All that happened after was a scream and a splash to end it off. All Vanessa could think of was what happened in the end, sitting on th porch with fear within her eyes...

OOC: Sorry if it's short, does this continue on, I mean S.S Anne?

Gold stepped out of the gym with a new badge and high hopes. He had called out Pikachu to sit on his shoulder for a while. He thought his pokemon deserved the break from the pokeball. Bret was walking next to him looking exhausted from the morning rush Gold had put on him. Gold smiled at him and said that they could spend the rest of the day at the Pokemon Center. This seemed to pick Bret up a little.

"Aw, look, a pikachu!!" Gold turned around and the next thing he knew, he was on the ground and Pikachu was off his shoulder. Gold stood up and saw numerous people patting and hugging his pokemon.

"Uh, people, can I have my pokemon back?" Gold asked. The people smiled and handed Pikachu back over.

"Oh, sorry, we just all LOVE pokemon so much!" exclaimed one person happily.

"Do you collect pokemon?" asked one person.

"Uh, yeah, I guess..." responded Gold. He didn't really call it "collecting," but it was good enough to satisfy these people.

"Then c'mon, you must come to our little fan club! All people who love pokemon are there!" shouted one person. They all got behind Gold and Bret and began to push them.

"Hey, wait!" shouted Gold. The people pushed him in front of a building that was nicely decorated with a picture of a pokemon hanging over to the door. Gold walked inside first figuring he had no other choice.

The building was just a one room building, but it was still fascinating. The walls were nicely decorated with multiple curtains and pictures. Tables were spread throughout the room with many different people and pokemon sitting at them talking. Gold looked around and saw how serious these people were about pokemon.

Gold and Bret sat down at a table with some other people. They all looked excitedely at Pikachu like they have never seen anything like it before. A man walked over to the table and shook Gold's hand.

"Hello, I'm the chairman of this club. It is nice to see another person who enjoys pokemon as much as we do. Would you like to hear about my pokemon?"

"Uh, sure," responded Gold. He soon realized what a huge mistake he had made. Gold managed to make out the word "Rapidash..." before the Chairman just blabbered on and on about the many different pokemon he had. Bret slammed his head on the table and fell asleep while he talked. After what it seemed a century, the Chairman thanked Gold for listening and left.

"So, do you have any other pokemon?" asked one person. Gold nodded and pulled out another pokeball. He clicked the button and his cute little eevee appeared. The people squeled with excitement and talked for minutes about how cute his pokemon was. They then turned to Bret, who was still sleeping. "Do you have pokemon?"

Gold punced Bret in the shoulder and he snapped straight up. "No! I'm not a trainer," he said. Gold wasn't going to argue. The people asked Gold if he would tell more about himself and his pokemon. Gold decided that it wasn't a bad time to brag. "Ha, I'm going to be number one with my pokemon! I'm challenging the Pokemon League and already have three badges! Together, we're going to be the best!" The people all squeled, but not with excitement. They were screaming with horror like Gold said something terrible.

"Yu- you mean you make these cute little pokemon... battle?" asked one person in disgust. Gold looked at these shocked people and nodded nervously. "Ye- yeah, of course! They love to battle. My bulbasaur was amazing in that gym battle when it evolved into-"

"You mean you make them evolve too! You change them from these cute little creatures to big fighting machines! You sicken me!" shouted another person. Gold got out of the seat and rushed out of the door with Eevee in his arm, Bret's shirt in the other, and Pikachu on his shoulder while people were yelling at them angrily.

Gold and Bret got to the Pokemon Center and Gold was completely out of breath. "Wow, those people have a different view of battling," he said. "So there actually people who like pokemon, but hate for them to battle. I wish I could show them that battling isn't bad at all."

ooc: The post was getting a little lengthy so could I complete my story in another post? If not, then I'll just add onto this post and make it mega long.

Episode 2 - The Start of Something Beautiful

The evening sun was low in the sky, nearly consumed by night. Zeke loved the effect the orange and pink had on the ocean, although he didn't want to admit it.
Zeke was back in "his" tree above the Pokemon Centre, it had been a long hard day and he wanted a bit of relaxation. He glanced down at the people scurrying down below, hoping to get home before dark.

Zeke unclipped Zubat's Pokéball from his belt and thought, seeing as it was nearly dark... it was probably the time of day that a bat Pokemon would like the best.
He gently pressed the button in the middle of the Pokéball and Zubat emerged in a flash of light, it flapped slowly and lowered out of the sky.
"What's wrong, buddy?" Zeke asked in a half-confused, half-concerned tone. Zubat screeched and started to glow an eerie white glow, he started to change in shape and in an instant there was a larger bat Pokemon in Zubat's place.
"Whoa! What's that?" questioned Zeke in amazement, as he pulled out his Pokédex and pointed it at the new Pokémon.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Golbat: the evolved form of Zubat.
Once it starts sucking blood, it does not stop until it is full. It flies at night in search of prey.

Zeke smirked and looked at Golbat, "You're my type of Pokémon," he said in an evil tone. He put his Pokédex away and pointed into the sky, "Go and have fun, buddy," he said warmly, not exactly knowing what he was about to unleash into the world.

~~~~~
Zeke had fallen asleep upon the tree branch he was sitting on, but was quickly awakened by screams from down below. He jumped down from the branch and landed on the roof of the Pokémon Centre, he ran to the edge and looked over to see what was happening.
He saw a teenage girl, about Zeke's age, waving her hands at his Golbat, "Get away!" she screamed.
"Hey!" Zeke called loudly, jumping off the roof of the Pokémon Centre, "Get away from her!" Zeke pulled out Golbat's Pokéball and returned the bat Pokémon, he then turned to the distressed girl, "I'm sorry about that," he said apologetically, "He only just evolved and then I fell asleep and..."
"Don't worry about it," said the young girl in an innocent tone, "Some people just aren't very good at training Pokémon." She gave Zeke a humorous look and began walking away, giggling softly to herself.
"Hey!" called Zeke, running in front of the girl, "I know how to train Pokémon... maybe you shouldn't be wandering the streets in the middle of the night," returned Zeke.
"Well thank you for rescuing me," started the girl, jokingly, "You're my hero..." The girl laughed and smiled warmly at Zeke.
Zeke blushed slightly, but quickly shook it off, "Uhm, I'm Zeke..." said Zeke hesitantly, "I just thought you might want to know the name of your hero," he joked.
The girl smiled, "My name is Belinda, and it's nice to meet you Zeke." Zeke and Belinda stood for a few minutes in silence; but Belinda started to talk... they ended up chatting for hours.
Ooc: Yes the season finale was awesome lol
Gold spent the night at the Pokemon Center thinking about the Fan Club incident. Gold really didn't understand it. Why did those people hate battling so much? He heard the shrieks the people shouted in his head. Honestly, he had no idea how to change their minds about battling, but he didn't like for people to think about it as a bad thing.
Bret wasn't much help on the situation. "Hey, why do you think I said I wasn't a trainer," he said flatly. That was all the advice he had to give. The rest of the night, he played with Meowth, leaving Gold alone on the situation.
Gold called out his pokemon thinking they could help. "So, what do you guys think I should do?" Gold asked. All of his pokemon immediately took off with their mouths. Gold heard the mixed up voices of his four different pokemon and nodded happily. "Yeah, I guess there really isn't anything I can do. I can't convince everyone to like battling." Gold looked at his pokemon queerly. "I don't get it, but listening to you guys pretending to talk helps me think better." (ooc: sound familiar? lol)
Gold went to the kitchen for dinner and saw a kid sitting alone at a table. Gold looked at him for a second before he realized where he had seen him. He was a member at the fan club. In the boy's lap was a strange pokemon that Gold had never seen before. Deciding to be friendly, Gold sat across the table from him. The boy looked up at him strangely before looking back down.
"Hi, I'm Gold," Gold said while holding a greeting hand up.
The boy chuckled slightly. His voice was deep and his face looked a little intense. He had average, spiked hair that expressed his coolness. Gold guessed he was about sixteen. "Yeah, you were that little kid that was chased from the fan club earlier." The remark sounded a little cold.
Gold turned a little pale from embarrassment. "Uh, yeah…" he said.
"Hah, don't worry. I thought you had a good point. Battling sounds like a great thing to do," he said after looking at Gold. "It could toughen up my larvitar." He looked down at the pokemon on his lap.
Gold's face lit up excitedly. "Wow, you really think so? That makes me feel a little better."
The boy gave a little fake laugh. "Yeah, and I'm sure a lot of the other Fan Club members think so do. They just need some time to realize it."
Gold felt better after the talk and decided that he would leave Vermillion first thing after he got some sleep. Feeling that he had rubbed off on some of the fan club members made him feel great and ready to continue his adventure.
Gold left the Pokemon Center with Bret and headed towards the next destination. He walked through town ready to continue his adventure until he heard some noises coming from one of the alleys. Curious what it could possibly be, Gold went to investigate.
When the noise got loud enough, Gold slowed down so he wouldn't get caught in case it was something bad. He grabbed Bret's collar and shoved him against the wall so he wouldn't waltz right into the scene. Then, Gold looked over the corner and was shocked.
It was the boy and his larvitar. The boy had mentioned how he wanted to make his larvitar battle, and that wasn't what Gold was seeing. The boy was throwing rocks at his beloved pokemon making it squeal and shout with pain. "Damn you, larvitar. Attack!" shouted the boy. This was not training his pokemon; it was torturing it.
Gold couldn't take it anymore. He whipped around the corner and jumped in front of the boy. "Quit this!" Gold shouted. The boy looked shocked at Gold and then glared at him angrily.
"Hmp, this is my pokemon, kid. Besides, you were the one that said battling was a good thing."
Gold heard some shuffles of feet run and saw the Chairman and two members appear. "What- what's," started the Chairman, but stopped when he saw the showdown between Gold and the boy.
"You call that battling? You're torturing your pokemon. You're making it do something it doesn't want to do. That isn't what battling is about," said Gold. The boy glared at him, and Gold dug in his pockets and pulled out three shiny badges. "See these? These are all the gym badges I've won. And I didn't win them from torturing my pokemon to death. We worked together and battled our hardest. Battling makes my pokemon, and almost most pokemon, feel refreshed and good about themselves." Gold put the badges back in his pocket and angrily looked at the boy.
"How could you do something so horrible to your cute, rare pokemon?" the Chairman asked the boy. The Chairman looked away angrily. "Well, you're out of the fan club. This is just horrible!"
The boy sneered. "Hmp, forget the stupid fan club! This boy has encouraged me to be the best pokemon trainer ever!" He looked over at Gold. "Your silly, babying technique with your pokemon will never work. You need to be tough. I show you that soon." The boy pulled out a pokeball and threw it in the air. "Koffing, use smog!"
Gold sprinted towards the boy before the air filled with smoke, causing him to stop. He coughed and pulled out a pokeball. "Pidgeotto, use gust," he choked. His bird pokemon appeared and blew air, causing the smoke to blow away. Gold was left with Bret and the fan club members. The boy was gone along with larvitar.
"I can't believe this," said the Chairman disgusted. Gold turned to face him with his head facing the ground.
"I'm sorry, I tried to stop him," said Gold. "This is horrible what that boy is doing."
The Chairman looked at Gold. "When I saw you yesterday, you were bragging about your battling, and this is what I, and the rest of the members, thought you meant. But now I see that you battle with your pokemon in mind and heart in play." The man nodded and looked down. "I… am extremely sorry for our club's behavior yesterday."
Gold grinned. "Aw, it's okay," he said. The man dug around in his pockets and slapped something into Gold's hand. It was a stone of a deep red color with a flame design in the middle. Gold looked at it for a second and then back up at the Chairman confused. "Uh, what is this?" he asked.
The Chaiman's smile turned it a puzzled look. "I don't actually know…" he responded, "but maybe you'll find it to be some use one day. Good luck on your journey."
Gold smiled and thanked the Chairman. He turned around to leave, but then remembered something. "Hey, what was that kid's name?" Gold asked.
"His name is Zackary and I hope you can stop what he is doing," responded the Chairman.
Zackary… Gold stored the name away and continued to walk towards the exit gate of the city. He was ready to continue his adventure and stop Zackary.
Ooc: Not the best way to resolve it I guess. Just trying to start the journey for Gold to get Larvitar in a somewhat creative way. Oh yeah, and that's a fire stone if you didn't know lol.
OOC: I was in the middle of watching Pikachu's Goodbye when i noticed that Pika_Master414 had posted. I didn't realise the people who weren't on the S.S. Ann were allowed another post. This changes EVERYTHING! lol... i think i went a bit overboard there, oh well... on with the post.
Episode 3 - Rivalry in Your Eyes
The morning sun peered over the horizon, shining harshly against Zeke's face. The heat yanked him from his slumber; his tired eyes opened slowly and glanced around. It looked like it was just about six in the morning, but people were already going about their daily routines.
"Hey you!" called a familiar voice, "Get down from there!" Zeke looked down from his tree branch and saw the same old man from yesterday standing in front of the Pokemon Centre; he glared angrily at Zeke as he started to wave his cane towards him.
Zeke sighed and jumped down from the tree branch, "Leave me alone, old man!" he yelled back. He walked along the red roof tiles and made his way to the edge, "Get lost!" he called down, leaning forwards slightly.
"There you are!" called another familiar voice, "You can't go wandering off like that Grandpa." Belinda stood next to the old man, who was obviously her grandfather. She stared up at Zeke, "Hi there!" she said, waving happily.
Zeke cracked a small smile and waved back to Belinda cautiously, "Hi..." he said quietly. "I was just checking to see if your grandfather was alright," he lied, trying to shift the blame.
Belinda turned to her grandfather and shook her head, "Were you pestering Zeke?" she asked, "No matter, come on let's get you home." Belinda's grandfather stared at her, confusion filled his eyes and his mouth drooped open.
Belinda ignored this and turned to farewell Zeke, but he had already left...
~~~~~

Zeke sat quietly in front of the gym, which overlooked the ocean, his legs dangled carelessly above the water with his shoes skimming it every now and then.
He laid back closed his eyes as he began to daydream, although the silence was broken all too soon by a loud thud.
Zeke sat up and turned around, the noise came from inside the gym. He stood up and walked over to the door, he reached for the handle... only to have the door smack him in the face. He fell over on the ground and looked up to see who was there, standing in front of him was a tall brown haired boy who looked to be about Zeke's age, the boys deep green eyes glared down at Zeke menacingly.

Zeke got to his feet quickly, "Watch were you're going jerk!" he demanded. The boy pushed Zeke back and opened the door a little wider, allowing a blue duck-like Pokemon to exit the gym.
Zeke stared at the Pokemon, who stared right back at him. "I don't need this..." whispered Zeke as he started to walk away.

The boy scoffed, "You're not worth it anyway," he said turning to Pokemon that stood beside him. "C'mon Golduck, let's go..." with that the boy was on his way, pushing past Zeke angrily.

Zeke clenched his fists and glared as the boy and his Pokemon made their way out of Vermillion City, he noticed writing on the back of the boys bag, "Dane Fletcher," it read, that must be his name, thought Zeke.
Zeke shook his head, walking away from the gym and his unwanted ordeal.

Episode 4 - Sandshrew, Heart of a Champion

Zeke trudged slowly along the dirt road that leads out of Vermillion City and into the mountain bordered path of Route 11. "Off I go again. By myself... alone," Zeke whispered to himself, hoping that someone... anyone would appear, just so he could have a little company.
Zeke lifted his head and stared off into the distance, the route wasn't exceptionally long... but it would be lonely. He sighed and started to walk towards his next destination, even though he had no idea where it was he was going.

"Uhm... Zeke?" questioned a soft familiar voice from behind him. Zeke spun around with the speed of Staryu using Rapid Spin and saw Belinda standing a few metres back along the road. "I was just wondering... you know if you wanted to, maybe..." Belinda began hesitantly.

"What... what is it?" Zeke asked quietly, deep down he was hoping that she wanted to come along with him. He walked closer to Belinda and smiled warmly, trying to make travelling with him a lot more enjoyable.

Belinda smiled back at Zeke and opened her mouth to talk again, "Zeke..." she said sternly, "I would like to go on your journey with you, if that's alright with you."
She blinked quickly and stared at Zeke with puppy-dog eyes.

Zeke was about to cheer, but managed to contain himself. "Uh... sure, that would be cool," he said, trying to keep calm.

Belinda jumped up and down joyfully and wrapped her arms around Zeke's neck, hugging him tightly. "Thank you, Zeke!" she squealed happily.

~~~~~
The afternoon sun beamed down on Zeke and Belinda as they walked along Route 11, they were both overjoyed that they were travelling together and neither of them knew how the other felt.
Zeke smiled and turned to Belinda, "So... your mum just let you go with me?" he asked, kind of confused why she'd suddenly changed her mind about letting Belinda travel.
Belinda turned her eyes to the ground, "Well... she doesn't exactly know that I'm with you. She thinks that I'm going to visit my aunt in Celadon city." She looked up at Zeke and smiled as if she was proud of the fact that she had lied to her mother, not that Zeke cared much about that matter.
Zeke was slightly surprised by this, but he kept a straight face and simply turned his head forward as they continued along the path.
~~~~~

Zeke and Belinda sat on the soft green grass; they had been travelling for half an hour and they had decided to have a rest.
Zeke stretched and stood up, "Did you bring anything to eat?" he asked Belinda, staring down at her as if it was her job to bring food.

Belinda looked at Zeke with confusion in her eyes, "Uh... no, i thought you'd have some," she returned. She fell onto her back and looked up at the blue sky as a flock of Spearow flew over head. "So... we don't have any food. That's just great," she said sarcastically.
Belinda heard a loud thud and she quickly sat back up to see what was up. Zeke lay motionlessly on the ground, snoring loudly and a large yellow and brown Pokemon stood behind him. She quickly got to her feet and stared angrily at the strange Pokemon, "What did you do to Zeke?"
She pulled out her Pokédex and pointed it at the large Pokemon.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Drowzee: the Hypnosis Pokémon.
Puts enemies to sleep, then eats their dreams. Occasionally gets sick from eating bad dreams.

Belinda closed her Pokédex and looked at the Drowzee, "Oh, so you get a kick out of putting people to sleep and eating their dreams," she said, slightly annoyed.
The large psychic Pokemon clapped happily as it's eyes started to glow white and it sent beams of energy towards Belinda. Her eyes grew heavy and she started to wobble from the power of Drowzee's Hypnosis attack.
All of a sudden the energy stopped and Belinda was freed from Drowzee's Hypnosis attack. Belinda shook her head and looked at Drowzee to see a small mouse-like Pokemon hanging from its ear.
She opened her Pokédex again and pointed it at the new Pokemon.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Sandshrew: the Mouse Pokémon.
To protect itself from attackers, it curls up into a ball. It lives in arid regions with minimal rainfall.

Drowzee began shaking its head madly, trying to remove the unwanted guest from its ear. Suddenly Sandshrew was hurled through the air, landing harshly at Belinda's feet. She crouched down to examine it; all those years of helping her mother at the Pokemon Centre had finally paid off. She concluded that it was a male Sandshrew, probably the smallest of the pack and it seemed as if it had been living on its own for a while know, considering the fact that it was malnourished.
Despite the fact that it was slightly unhealthy, it was quickly back on its feet and ready to fight.

Belinda rose to her feet and stared at the Drowzee, she noticed how much bigger the Drowzee was to the Sandshrew and decided that it was an unfair battle.
She plucked a Pokeball from her belt and tossed it into the air, "C'mon on out and help Sandshrew, Poliwag!" she called.
In a burst of light a small deep blue Pokemon with a round body and stumpy legs was standing alert next to Sandshrew.
"Alright Poliwag, give it a Water Gun attack!" she commanded as she turned to see what Sandshrew was going to do.
Poliwag sent a jet of water towards Drowzee which hit it dead on and knocked it back a couple of feet.
Sandshrew didn't want Poliwag to get all the glory and it quickly rolled up into a ball and spun at full speed, ramming straight into Drowzee's head.

Drowzee wobbled backwards and collapsed onto the grass, unable to continue battling. Poliwag hopped up and down happily before leaping into Belinda's arms, "Great job Poliwag."
She then looked down at Sandshrew, who seemed quite sad, "You did a great job too, Sandshrew," she said warmly.
Sandshrew looked up at Belinda and smiled, "Shrew, shrew!" it called happily.

OOC: Poliwag was level 24 at the start of the battle and yes, Sandshrew has joined Belinda's team.

S.S Anne (Part 2) – The Mystery of the Voyage

What had exacting happened on the ship? Well, that is a story that needs to be solved. Vanessa left Jen with her four Pokemon, and went out to the dock. Vanessa gazed out into the sea and saw the wonderful view. As she was watching the waves, she was encountered by a man in black. "Who are you…?" Vanessa said scared. "You should know," he said as he tried to reach her.

"Gah, Help me! I'm being chased!" Vanessa said screaming and running around the dock. She was running around when she noticed that she came back to where she started. He came up to her and grabbed her shoulder and was breathing down her neck.

"Leave me alone, don't hurt me!" Vanessa said. "Don't worry, it's me Lt. Surge!" he said pulling off the cloak. "It's you, don't scare me like that!" Vanessa said. As they started talking, a turtle Pokemon came ramming straight at Lt. Surge and pushed him off.

Vanessa saw the turtle that was a deep-coloured aquamarine colour that was energized. "Whose Pokemon is this?" Vanessa hollered. She pulled out her Pokedex, wondering what it was.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region

"Wartortle, the Turtle Pokemon, it is the evolved form of Squirtle. It is said to live for 10,000 years. Its furry tail is popular as a symbol of longevity."

"I wish I had a Pokemon like that, sooner or later I will." Vanessa said cheerfully, but why did that Wartortle do that…?" Vanessa said whimpering in the corner. Suddenly Jen came back and greeted Vanessa, "Umm that is your Wartortle, it suddenly evolved while I took care of it…" Jen said a little embarrassed. "I'm so sorry," "It's alright, as long as nothing else happened." Vanessa said trying to get comfortable in the corner.

Jen suddenly chuckled and looked a little guilty. "You might be surprised with this." A pink Pokemon came dancing onto the deck and she saw that it had a yellow ribbon. "What? You evolved my Jigglypuff without my permission?" Vanessa said a little disappointed. "It was an accident, you left your bag here and it dropped, and the Moon Stone fell. That's how that happened." Jen said curling up on the floor. "Alright, they'll be fine." Vanessa said pulling out her Pokedex.
[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region

"Wigglytuff, the Balloon Pokemon, it is the evolved form of Jigglypuff. Its fine fur feels sublime to the touch. It can expand its body by inhaling air."

Suddenly, the two girls noticed that the ship left the dock. "HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?" the two girls screamed. They ran around the dock and then bumped into each other and fell over. "We should hide, we're fugitives now, and this is awesome!" Jen said as they ran into the cabin room.

Jen pulled out her suitcase and got out a case that Vanessa was interested in. "What's that Jen?" Vanessa asked. "We have to survive, so I got this disguise kit to hide." Jen said. She pulled everything out, and got out two sailor outfits and a makeup case. After that, they looked like two guy sailors and they went out ready to reach to their next destination.

Gold walked onto the next route after the long, tiring, gruesome detour in Vermillion City. He wondered where Zackary was going to head to. He said right in front of him that he was going to be a great pokemon trainer. Gold knew that he had to have meant that he was going to collect gym badges, which meant he was heading to Celadon City, just like him.

Bret made Zackary Gold's rival; he wasn't getting involved. While Gold thought hard about Zackary, Bret was playing with his meowth as he held it in his arms. Gold listened to the Meowth happily respond to Bret's kindness which made him want to turn around and snatch Bret's throat. It made him kind of angry that he was left with all the thinking.

Gold gave up on thinking about Zackary for a while and put his focus on the path. He looked around for some interesting wild pokemon, but instead saw something way more interesting- a trainer. And not just any trainer. Gold remembered him from a long time ago, way back in the Viridian Woods. He had a straw hat on and shorts with a sleeveless white shirt. Next to him was a butterfree floating in the air. It was the boy that defeated Gold in the Woods.

Gold ran up to the boy and pointed. "You- I remember you back from the Viridian Woods."

The boy paused and then looked curiously at Gold and strained his face as if he was trying to remember himself. "Yes… I remember you too. You're that guy I battled in the Viridian Woods. You're the person with the pidgey!"

Gold grinned. "Well, now that we're reacquainted, how about a rematch? I've grown a lot as a Pokemon Trainer."

The boy smiled and shook Gold's hand to accept his challenge. He released it and began to fiddle with his hat while pulling out a pokeball. "Hmp, so have I. Let's make this a match to remember."

Gold turned around to make some space between him and the boy, but then suddenly stopped when he remembered something. "Hey, wait, we don't even know each other's name."

The boy suddenly stopped and turned around to look at Gold. "It's Jacob," he said.

Gold nodded. "Ah, okay. Mine's Gold."

Gold felt better know that he knew his opponent's name and walked until there was a decent space between himself and Jacob. He pulled out a pokeball and held it high in the air. "I don't expect to lose this time!" Gold shouted across the field. He thrust the pokeball until it hit the ground and opened up. After an explosion of red light, Gold's Pidgeotto appeared. "Remember me," he said in a sort of mocking voice.

"You're very funny," said Jacob flatly. He pointed in the air. "Let's start out with the great rematch. Go, Butterfree!" His bug pokemon soared out in the middle of the battlefield.

Pidgeotto faced her opponent and grew an intense-looking eye. Gold wondered if she remembered the Butterfree from the last battle. He knew that it was completely his fault that they had both lost last time and wasn't going to make that mistake again.

"Pidgeotto, start this off with quick attack!" Gold shouted. Pidgeotto gave out a loud cry and zipped across the field speedily towards Butterfree.

"Butterfree, don't let it attack you!" shouted Jacob. "Repel it with Psybeam!" Butterfree let out beams of energy that hit Pidgeotto, but also let out a loud screeching noise that filled Gold's ears.

"That's really loud!" shouted Bret from behind Gold. His Meowth's fur was puffed out and his body was completely seized in Bret's arms.

Pidgeotto managed to stand up during the attack. She sped off again and zipped across the stage again, cutting through Butterfree's attack. She then slammed hard into it, making it fall to the ground.

Jacob looked at Pidgeotto intensely. "I can say it has gotten stronger, but it isn't over yet," he said. Butterfree managed to get back up in the air again and waited for its trainer's command.

Gold took a second to think of what to do next before holding his hand up. "Pidgeotto, use gust attack!" he shouted.

"Butterfree, use supersonic!" shouted Jacob. Butterfree sent out more waves, much like Bret's Zubat's attack, and the two attacks hit, making them both cancel out. "Now, use poisonpowder!" commanded Jacob. Butterfree flapped its wings and let a purple dust that headed straight for Pidgeotto.

"Pidgeotto, fly over and use twister!" shouted Gold. Pidgeotto flapped its wings downward to get an air boost, letting it fly over the purple dust. Then it vigorously flapped it wings and made a twister.

"Butterfree, get rid of that attack with psybeam!" shouted Jacob. Butterfree let out the same attack again and it hit the large twister. Both pokemon tried hard to make the attack stronger and defeat the other pokemon. Finally, the attacks caused a huge explosion, hitting both pokemon and making them fall to the ground.

Gold knew this was the final round to decide the match. Both pokemon stood up and managed to get back in the air, but they were both weak.

"Butterfree, weaken Pidgeotto with stun spore," ordered Jacob. Butterfree flapped its wings again, this time causing a golden-colored powder to leave them.

Gold thought of a different way to win the battle. "Pidgeotto, use gust, but make it weak enough to just blow the powder back!" shouted Gold. Pidgeotto gently blew its wings and made the powder suddenly stop and then change direction. It went back straight for Butterfree and hit the bug pokemon.

"Butterfree!" Jacob shouted.

Gold grinned and held up his hand to deliver the final blow. "Pidgeotto, finish this with twister!" he shouted.

"No, Butterfree, counterattack with Psybeam!" Jacob shouted nervously, but Butterfree didn't move. It was completely paralyzed from its own stun spore. The attack came closer and closer until it finally hit, making Butterfree twirl around in the twister a dozen times until the attack faded away. Butterfree came crashing back down into the ground completely unconscious.

Jacob looked surprised for a moment, but then pulled out a pokeball. He recalled Butterfree and walked over to Gold. "Hey, that was a great battle. You've really improved," he said. Gold grinned and shook his hand.

"So, I'm sure we'll meet on the road again," said Gold.

"You can bet on it. You still have a long way to go until you can challenge the Pokemon League and you're not getting there without at least losing to me again," said Jacob with a huge grin on his face. Gold smiled and let go of Jacob's hand. He turned around with Bret and his Meowth at his side.

"Well, I'll see you on the road again sometimes. I can't wait to battle your Butterfree again!" Gold shouted. He saw Jacob nod at him before completely turning around again and looking forward onto the path with Bret at his side.

Creeping around the Seven Seas

OOC: Not much to say in this post since I am not much for battling lately and I give myself credit for actually posting despite being tired and lazy as of late.

Stepping into his assigned room, Isaac was smacked across the face with luxury and comfort that he had not seen in a long time. After all, it had been a long time since he was last home in the large mansion his parents had constructed from all their wealth that had been acquired over the course of their long, lustrous career of dressing up Pokemon in terrible outfits and force them to prance around a ring while thousands of mindless slaves watch in awe. Planting himself on the queen size bed that had kindly parked its custom frame and royally colored covers in the middle of the room, Isaac had carefully skimmed his bag for any items that he had not used yet. Realizing he had acquired a useless Water-type TM and and a useful electric one, Isaac used the Shock Wave move from surge on Pikachu, forcing her to forget Thunder Wave, a tactical yet ineffective move for most scenarios.

Boredom increased while Isaac spent an incredible amount of time in his opulent room. Despite being safe from being found out for his illegal entry about the boat, Isaac dared to leave the room of guaranteed safety and wandered the boat. He tried to keep a low profile, sticking to the walls and cutting corners. Most of the officials overlooked Isaac even though his dress style was...well...poor. Sure his clothes were clean and in mint condition, but Isaac didn't dish out high end suits and fancy ties. Isaac wandered the ship and eventually hit the outside the ship, hoping to avoid all the unnecessary officials and guards. In the distance, he noticed one of the trainers from Pallet. Maybe she is attempting to escape from the guards too. I doubt it.

Walking down the path, Gold felt great about his recent win and hoped for more like them to come. He grinned more when he looked over and saw Bret and how happy he was with his Meowth in his arms and Zubat on his shoulder. It hadn't been long ago since he was without pokemon, and now they were both happy together.

The two walked for awhile until Gold just sensed something. He couldn't tell what, but he just had a strange feeling that something near was by. Just to keep safe, he pulled out a pokeball and clicked the button. A pokemon that looked like a small electric mouse appeared. It was Pikachu, Gold's most close pokemon.

"Pikachu, just help me keep a lookout on things," said Gold. Pikachu nodded his head, making his ears flop and then climbed onto Gold's shoulder where he focused hard on the route.

Bret suddenly stopped where he was. "Gold, look," he said pointing his finger ahead. All the sudden, a little bird pokemon swooped down and landed right in front of them. To Gold, it was strange that a pokemon like that would suddenly appear out of nowhere. He pulled out his pokedex.

Spearow, the Tiny Bird Pokemon, read the pokedex. It flaps its small wings busily to fly. Using its beak, it searches in the grass for prey.

"Pikachu, this battle can be a piece of cake for you. Use thundershock!" Gold shouted confidently. Pikachu shot sparks at the bird pokemon without even leaving Gold's shoulder. It simply soared over to the side to avoid the attack. Gold ordered the attack again, and the spearow did the exact same thing. "Grr, going to be that way, are you? Maybe we need a little physical attacks going on." Gold pulled out another ball and threw it. "Eevee, attack that pokemon!" he shouted. Eevee came out and dove towards the spearow.

Gold continued to battle with the spearow dodging every attack. He didn't know the activity that was happening behind him and Bret. While they were both distracted with battle, a pokemon that looked like a snake slowly slithered behind him. It furtively got close behind Gold and Bret, and then it struck hard against Gold's back. Gold and Pikachu fell hard on the ground.

The snake pokemon attacked Gold, while the Spearow zoomed in on Bret and pecked him and his two pokemon to death. Gold felt helpless against the snake pokemon, and dumb that he was fooled by both of them.

Another pokemon suddenly appeared. It was a somewhat large golden pokemon that had something that looked like a snout. Gold and his pokemon were too wiped out by the demon duo fight back and could only helpless watch what the new pokemon had in store for him and Bret. Gold watched it raise glowing hands in the air and then knew nothing else.

……

Gold stirred and sat up. His head completely hurt and he had several cuts on his legs. Both of his pokemon were in front of him, already awake. They both seemed to be fine from the ambush. Bret was also stirring and him and his pokemon seemed fine too.

Gold then realized the absence of something- his bag. He saw it laying off not too far and walked over to hit to inspect. The dumb pokemon had torn it up a little. One of the pockets from the front was completely ripped off, along with half of the right strap. The bag was opened up and the contents from Gold's bag were spread all over the grass around it. Gold picked everything up, relived that everything was still there, until he realized something that made his heart skip. The special stone he got from the chairman was gone, nowhere to be seen. Those pokemon had stolen it from him.

"I can't believe it!" Gold shouted. Bret looked over at him and shrugged.

"What's the big deal? You didn't even know what it was," Bret said carelessly.

"Yeah, but it could've been something extremely important," responded Gold.

Bret just sighed and looked up at the sky. It was suddenly getting darker and darker without warning. "Well, let's set up camp and recover for tonight. We can look for those pokemon tomorrow," Bret said. Gold wanted to be the one to complain for once, but he gave in to Bret's request. The pokemon had made Gold sore, and he figured it would be a good idea to rest before chasing after the pokemon.

Gold laid out his blankets before he heard something ring. It was his PokeGear inside his pocket so he pulled it out. Clicking the button, he placed the device next to his ear. "Hello?" he said.

"You- you haven't called me once! How could you?!" shouted a deep, gruff voice playfully.

Gold took a second to realize that it was the old man from Viridian City. It had been awhile since both of them had swapped numbers. That was the very first night of Gold's adventure. "Sorry, I've been busy with my adventure, you know. I have already won three gym badges and heading towards my fourth gym."

"Good, good… It sounds like your adventure is going very well," said the old man.

Gold sighed. "Actually quite the opposite. Today we were attacked by this trio of tricky pokemon and they stole something valuable of mine. Do you know anything about a stone the color of red with a flame design in the middle?"

The man didn't speak for a moment. "That would be a Fire Stone that you had," he finally said. "Those are very valuable. They can make multiple species of pokemon evolve when they're touched by the stone. I advise you get that stone back as soon as possible. Those pokemon you speak of were just taking it for the pleasure of attacking travelers. They do not need the stone for anything."

"Fire Stone…" mumbled Gold.

……

Gold and Bret set off first thing in the morning with their Pidgeotto and Zubat searching the sky for the trio of pokemon. Gold searched around the bottom with Eevee and Pikachu. They searched for almost two hours without any luck. Then, Pidgeotto swooped down and yelled happily to Gold.

"You found them Pidgeotto?! Well, let's go!" Gold shouted. Pidgeotto lead them to a very bushy area then pointed her wing. Gold cautiously approached the bushes and looked over them. Beyond the bushes were the three pokemon and the stone laying not too far off from where they were. Gold pulled out his pokedex to get info on the other two pokemon. He first pointed it at the snake.

Ekans, the Snake Pokemon, read the pokedex. It sneaks through grass without making a sound and then strikes unsuspecting prey from behind.

"Well, that explains a lot," mumbled Gold. "Next." He pointed it at the golden and brown pokemon with the snout.

Drowzee, the Hypnosis Pokemon, read the pokedex. It can tell what people are dreaming by sniffing with its nose. It loves fun dreams.

"The reason I went unconscious was because of a hypnosis attack from that pokemon," mumbled Gold. "So we are up against a demon Spearow, a tricky Ekans, and a tough Drowzee. Okay then. Bret lets get ready to attack."

Bret nodded and patted his Meowth on the head. Gold whispered in Pikachu's ear before the jumped in battle.

Electric bolts startled the three pokemon and threw them off balance. Gold and Bret suddenly jumped in after the impressive attack from Pikachu and sent their pokemon out. Gold sent out Eevee, while Bret sent out Meowth.

The pokemon glared angrily at Gold and Bret and their pokemon waiting for battle. Spearow zoomed in first with an attack.

"Bret, we got this!" Gold shouted. It didn't matter because the other pokemon were attacking his Meowth. "Eevee, use Sand-Attack and then Pikachu come in with a thundershock while Spearow is stunned!"

Eevee kicked sand at the speeding Spearow, making it stop and try to recover from Eevee's attack. Pikachu then leaped forward, zapping the bird pokemon with a thundershock.

Spearow stood up and took off without a second thought, leaving only Drowzee and Ekans left.

"Meowth, use growl to repel both pokemon!" shouted Bret. Meowth cried out, making both pokemon slower. Gold saw the stone all alone and decided to make a dive for it.

"Pikachu, use quick attack to get towards the stone!" Gold shouted. Pikachu sped quickly towards the stone at lightning speed. Drowzee saw Pikachu's attempt at the stone and raised glowing hands. Pikachu suddenly stopped, making him a target for Ekans. Ekans slammed hard into Pikachu with its sharp teeth, making Pikachu cry out and slid back.

"Man, the disable attack," mumbled Gold. Ekans came in with another bite towards Eevee.

"Meowth, use growl to repel back Ekans and then scratch it!" shouted Bret. Meowth leaped in front of Eevee and attacked the ekans.

Pikachu stood up again and leaped next to Eevee. Gold knew that they needed to take out the Drowzee, so he prepared for his attack.

"Attack Drowzee together, guys! Pikachu, use brick break and eevee, run next to Pikachu!" Pikachu raised his hand in the air and ran quickly towards the Drowzee with Eevee close by. Drowzee raised two glowing hands in the air, making Pikachu levitate.

"Eevee, make Drowzee stop the attack with sand attack!" shouted Gold. Eevee kicked sand straight at Drowzee and it hit both of his eyes, making it cry with pain and cancelling its attack. Pikachu zoomed forward and began to slam his hands hard on the pokemon, leaving Eevee alone.

Gold saw the stone again, all alone, and Eevee without an opponent. Both Drowzee and Ekans were distracted, leaving the Fire Stone alone. "Eevee, retrieve the Fire Stone, and hurry!" shouted Gold. Eevee rushed forward and closer and closer until… Gold was confused. Eevee began to glow a white color and transformed until it turned into a totally new pokemon. It was a large red pokemon with some busy whitish tan fur and tail. The stone was nowhere to be seen.

"Di- did Eevee just use the stone?" Gold stammered. He pulled out his pokedex.

Flareon, the Flame Pokemon, read the pokedex. It has a flame sac in its body. Its body temperature tops 1,650 degrees Fahrenheit before battle.

"Wow, I didn't know that stone could evolve Eevee!" exclaimed Gold. "Flareon, finish this battle and attack Drowzee!"

Flareon sped forward and slammed into the Drowzee hard making it collapse. Pikachu fell on the ground to catch his breath. Bret finished off the Ekans not long after. The two pokemon ran off after the Spearow leaving Gold, Bret, and all their pokemon alone.

"Great job, guys!" shouted Gold. He patted both of his pokemon on the head. Bret was doing the same with Meowth. Gold then turned his attention on Flareon. "Wow, I can't believe that stone changed you into a powerful fire type! Too bad we didn't know that in Vermillion City, or we could've prevented all this from ever happening!"

It was silent for a moment, but then everyone began to laugh, including Gold and his new pokemon.

Episode 5 - Poison Pokemon Showdown!

Sandshrew ran in circles around Belinda, "Shrew, Sandshrew!" it called happily. Zeke and Belinda had been walking for a while since the Drowzee encounter and they had stopped again to have another rest.
Belinda dropped to her knees and beckoned Sandshrew over to her, "It's time for you to meet the rest of the team," she said cheerfully.
She pulled a Pokéball from her belt and released Poliwag, "Poli!" it said happily.
"Poliwag you already know," she assured, before reaching for another Pokéball. In a flash of light a small Pokémon with a round blue body and leaves growing out of the top of its head appeared.
"Oddish, Odd," it said quietly. "This is Oddish," pointed out Belinda.

"I can't believe you let that Drowzee use Hypnosis on me," scoffed Zeke in an annoyed tone.
Zeke was sitting about ten metres away with his back against a rock. He looked over at Belinda's Pokémon and laughed quietly, "Those Pokémon don't look very tough," he teased.

"Poli!" said Poliwag angrily. In an instant Poliwag began glowing brightly, it grew in size, hands emerged from its sides and its tail disappeared.
The light faded and a new Pokémon stood before Belinda, "Poliwhirl," it said proudly.
Belinda's eyes widened in amazement as she reached for her Pokédex.

[PokeCommunity.com] The Pokemon Adventure: Kanto Region
Poliwhirl: the evolved form of Poliwag
It can live in or out of water. When out of water, it constantly sweats to keep its body slimy.

Zeke scoffed again, "My Pokemon are still stronger," he boasted. He pulled all three of his Pokéball's from his belt and tossed them out in front of him.
Scyther, Nidorino and Golbat appeared in a flash of light.

~~~~~
Scyther and Golbat flew playfully overheard while Poliwhirl, Oddish and Sandshrew played tag together on the grass.
Zeke looked up and smiled at his happy Pokémon, but his attention soon turned to Nidorino who looked upset, lying on the grass by himself.
Zeke made his way over to the poison Pokémon and knelt down in front of him, "What's wrong buddy?" he asked, giving Nidorino a scratch under his chin.
"He's weak!" said a loud familiar voice. The boy that Zeke had run into at the Vermillion City Gym stood with his arms crossed about fifteen metres away.
"He's upset because he's weak," repeated the boy, "If you were a smart trainer you would have evolved your Nidorino right away."
Zeke got to his feet and turned to the teenage boy, "Nidorino's strong enough how it is... Dane."
Dane hesitated at the fact that Zeke knew his name, "Oh really now?" he questioned, "Then how about your Nidorino takes on my Nidoking?" challenged Dane.
Zeke looked down at Nidorino who still looked upset and not fit for battle, "You're on!"
Dane grabbed a Pokéball from his belt and tossed it out in front of him, a large purple Pokémon that looked a bit like a dinosaur appeared.
"Nidoking!" it roared loudly, staring menacingly at Nidorino.
Nidorino jumped to his feet and ran out in front of Zeke, growling angrily at Nidoking and Dane. "Looks like Nidorino wants to show you just how strong he is," said Zeke happily.
~~~~~

Zeke and Dane stood fifteen metres apart with their poison Pokémon standing in front of them.
"This will be a one on one Pokémon battle between Zeke's Nidorino and Dane's Nidoking," announced Belinda.

"Let's make this battle a little more interesting," said Dane as he stuck his hands into his backpack and rummaged around a bit. "The winner shall receive this," he said, holding a TM above his head.
"This TM contains Poison Jab. I was going to teach it to Nidoking when i got to Lavender Town, but winning this battle will make that a whole lot sweeter," teased Dane.

Zeke smiled, "That's fine with me, Dane. Get ready to lose your TM though." He glanced over at Belinda who nodded back at him, "Nidorino use Focus Energy!"
Nidorino began glowing a slight red colour and stared angrily at Nidoking.

Dane pointed towards Nidorino, "Nidoking use Double Kick!"
Nidoking ran as fast as he could towards Nidorino, he leapt into the air and extended his leg which collided with Nidorino, sending him flying.

Nidorino stood up slowly and tried to shake off the attack, but Nidoking wasn't done yet, he powered towards Nidorino preparing for the second kick.
"Nidorino! Dodge it and use Horn Attack!" ordered Zeke swiftly. Nidorino jumped out of the way just in time, he spun around and stuck his horn deep into Nidoking's back.

Nidoking cried out in pain and turned to Nidorino angrily. "Use Rock Tomb, now!" screamed Dane.
Nidoking stomped his foot loudly and large rocks plummeted down from the rocky walls of the route. A few of the smaller rocks hit Nidorino, but he got out of the way just in time to not get crushed by a large boulder.

"Good work!" called Zeke, "Now use Double Kick, Nidorino!"
Nidorino ran at Nidoking and planted two swift kicks on him, causing him to stumble backwards.

"You've done it now Zekey boy!" screamed Dane, "Nidoking use Thrash!"
Nidoking smirked as he began to glow red, he ran towards Nidorino at full speed and rammed into him with all his might.

Nidorino was knocked six feet into the air and came crashing down into the ground harshly.
"Shake it off," said Zeke, hoping that Nidorino could. The purple Pokémon got to its feet slowly and looked to see Nidoking running towards him again.
"Quick! Use Horn Attack," ordered Zeke.
Nidorino stood his ground and stuck out his horn. Nidoking couldn't slow down, he ran straight into the sharp horn.
Blood trickled from the fresh wound on Nidoking's stomach; he stumbled backwards and fell over.

"Nidoking is unable to battle, Zeke and Nidorino win!" announced Belinda proudly.

(ooc: This will be by far the longest fight I've ever done to make up for my absense, but I split it up into two segments, enjoy.)
Episode 28: Chris Vs. Michael (Part 1)

Kyle woke up, after a nap feling groggy. "Uurgh, hey Chris. What time is it?" Chris then got up off of his bed and looked at the clock.

"Four o' clock." Said Chris before going back into his bed. Kyle smiled before saying.

"Oh, how...... Four o' clock!" Kyle then shot up and looked out the window, not seeing Vermillion City. "Dude, we're stowaways now." Said Kyle. Chris then got up and looked out the window, before gasping.

"I can't believe we fell asleep for three hours!" Yelled Chris, but a knock came on the door.

"Christopher Evans, I challenge you to a pokemon battle!" Yelled a voice outside the door. Chris opened it and saw a rich boy, but the difference was that this boy has a blue nose ring, and dark brown hair. His eyes though, are a cold black.

"Who are you?" Asked Chris, but the rich boy snarled.

"You may be a good trainer, but no one can ask for my name." Said the rich boy before handing both Chris and Kyle a ticket. "Take these. They're tickets to keep you on for the rest of the ride. Follow me, and we'll see if you can keep them." Chris readily followed, but Kyle felt a little bit uneasy.

(Arena)

The rich boy led them into the arena. "Here we will have a six on six, no holds barred battle. But I must warn you, I'm not easy to beat like everyone else, I am far superior to everyone on this ship, even you." Said the rich boy knowing he had enough skill.

"But I have only five." Said Chris, but the rich boy snorted.

"I know that's a lie. I followed your career with great interest, and I must say, both you and Kyle are good." Said the rich boy as he snapped his fingers. And with that, two sailors drag in a teleporter. "Draw your Zubat and prepare to battle." And Chris did just that. After the two boys got to the two sides of the arena, Chris and the Rich boy turned to face each other.

"This is a 6-on-6 battle between Christopher Evans from Pallet Town, and Michael Andrews from Lavender Town. Neither challengers may substitute pokemon at any time, unless your pokemon has fainted." Yelled the judge. Chris, and Michael both nodded in acceptance of these conditions.

"Go, Pidgeotto!" Yelled Chris. Michael smirked and soundlessly sent out a Poliwhirl.

"Round 1: Pidgeotto Vs. Poliwhirl... Begin!" Yelled the judge, and the boys wasted no time in beginning.

"Poliwhirl, use Psychic, and slam the Pidgeotto into the wall!" Yelled Michael. Poliwhirl started the Psychic, but Pidgetto was able to dodge in time.

"Pidgeotto, counter with a Sand Attack, then a Gust!" Yelled Chris. Pidgeotto then started to whip dust around, but Poliwhirl Shielded its eyes, before sending out a Hypnosis as a defence. But Pidgeotto was too into it's attack to fall asleep.

"Get out of there, then use Body Slam!" Yelled Michael. Poliwhirl jumped above the sand, and slammed into Pidgeotto, stopping the attack. "Now use Psychic, and finish it off!" Yelled Michael once again, but Chris knew to stop it.

"Pidgeotto, use Gust now!" Yelled Chris. Pidgeotto then sent out a gust of wind, hitting Poliwhirl, making it fly off into the other side of the arena. "Now, use Quick Attack!"

"Use Brick Break Poliwhirl!" Yelled Michael, and Poliwhirl ran off, ready to slam the attack into Pidgeotto. In moments the attacks collided, sending them both flying in different directions.

"Now, use Gust Pidgeotto!" Yelled Chris. Pidgeotto quickly regained his balance and fired a Gust at Poliwhirl, sending it into the wall, knocking it out.

"Poliwrath is unable to battle, this round goes to Pidgeotto!" Called the judge.

"What?! This is inconceavible! Poliwrath, return." Said Michael, not really sounding too mad at Poliwrath. "Go, Arbok!" Yelled Michael. And out came a powerful looking snake, ready to fight.

"Round 2: Pidgeotto Vs. Arbok... Begin!" Yelled the judge. And again, they took off in moments.

"Arbok, use Ice Fang!" Yelled Michael, Arbok went to bite Pidgeotto with Icy fangs, but Pidgeotto dodged.

"Now! Use Gust!" Yelled Chris. Pidgeotto fired a Gust of wind once again, slamming it into Arbok, but the snake shook it off easily.

"Arbok, use Stockpile!" Yelled Michael. Arbok then started to gather energy.

"Ha! That's not going to help you now!" Yelled Chris to Michael who just smirked. "Pidgeotto, use Quick Attack!" Pidgeotto then went in, but just before he slammed into Arbok, the snake fired a powerful blast of energy, sending Pidgeotto into the wall, knocking him out.

"Pidgeotto is unable to battle, this round goes to Arbok!" Yelled the judge again.

"P-Pidgeotto." Said Chris before recaling the downed bird. "Go, Dugtrio! Help me out!" And with that the crowd cheered, seeing that the match was going to be good after all.

"Round 3: Dugtrio Vs. Arbok... Begin!" Yelled the judge. And once again the two waited not an instant.

"Arbok, use Stockpile once more!" Yelled Michael. Arbok then gathered energy once more in its mouth.

"Use Magnitude, Dugtrio!" Yelled Chris, but it was only Magnitude 6, and Arbok was still standing.

"Use Spit up!" Yelled Michael. Arbok then fired another energy ball, but it didn't do much to Dugtrio. "Now, try Ice Fang!" Arbok then rushed at Dugtrio.

"Dugtrio, use Magnitude once more!" Yelled Chris. And with that, a Magnitude 9 was sent out, but not before Arbok was able to bite Dugtrio, knocking her out.

"Both pokemon are unable to battle, this round is a tie!" Yelled the judge.

"Return, Arbok." Said Michael quietly. But then Michael glared at Chris before sending out a Vileplume. Chris then sent out Zubat.

"Round 4: Zubat Vs. Vileplume... Begin!" Yelled the judge once more.

To be continued...(ooc: Hey this was and is a very long post! But I got Part 2 ready as well.)
