Toxapex's high defenses, along with it's Hidden Ability; Regenerator, and useful moves like Scald and Recover, makes it a complete pain to deal with in OU.
Water/Poison is still a great defensive type combo, despite the presence of powerful threats like Tapu Koko, Mega Alakazam and especially Landorus-Therian.
Landorus-T and the Tapus are unlikely to return in SwSh. Alakazam does have a chance, but will probably have to resort to Dynamaxing or even Gigamaxing since its Mega isn't coming back.
It can learn High Horsepower, a powerful Ground-type attack nearly as hard-hitting as Earthquake. It is even a great alternative Ground move to use in VGC.
