The Pokemon Race Version 5.0

The Bulbasaur line is Kanto's finest grass line in my eyes. Still, Vileplume's an underrated pokemon and I have fond memories of Oddish from pokemon Yellow since Pikachu has to be the starter. You can get Bulbasaur (and the other starters) through npc events, but by the time I knew about it and had high enough friendship to receive mine I believe I had already started training Oddish. It became a very strong vileplume that helped me take down Lorelei. It went down in the Hall of Fame.

Interesting, I think I missed that one which season is it?

Also it's an Oddish that Ash and Misty are trying to capture that lead then to first meeting Bulbasaur, and visiting the hidden village for injured and abandoned pokemon.

Oddish is safe! now it's time for Gloom!

I love Vileplume! The flower petals I think look like it's wearing a oversized hat. I named my mighty Vileplume Jane because it seemed like a name for a proper Victorian lady who would have a bonnet on her head and carry a parasol.

Fun fact. Vileplume is bigger than Gloom, as one might expect for the final evo. Vileplume grows more than a foot taller than Gloom, and stands at nearly 4 feet tall, and is double Gloom's weight. Bellosom on the other hand shrinks smaller than Gloom. At 1"4 I believe Bellosom is teenier than even Oddish.
