Not every pokemon has to be a strong though. We can still learn something even from Pokemon that are weak. I think it's origins are quite clever. Farfetch'd is an illustration of the Japanese proverb Kamo ga negi wo shotte kuru, meaning "a duck has come bearing green onions." It's supposed to be silly and unfortunate because that would be a dead duck-- a duck seasoned with onions. It's someone walking around with a noose around their neck and oblivious, so it makes sense that Farfetch'd would be easy to knock down. I think it's cute.
