The Pokemon Race Version 5.0

I liked the point about Strong Pokemon and Weak Pokemon, but Farfetch'd is one of those pokemon that's so difficult to work with, even casually in game. Reminds me a bit of ledian. I love ledian, but having one can be such a struggle. Most pokemon get some sort of niche, like spinda has a huge movepool. I guess farfetched has...a stick. Glad to see it got an evolution though in galar

There used to be a club in this forum called the pokepositivity club for Pokemon like Farfetch'd and Ledian. We celebrated mons that were considered weak, not popular, very niche, seldom represented or overshadowed by other Pokémon.

Some that I remember we paid tribute to there were Qwilfish, Magikarp, Smeargle, Flareon, Raichu, Sigilyph and Moltres, Heatmor, Crabominable, Maractus, Lumineon, Torkoal and Dunsparce.

I do think that's a nice idea, because appreciation can be found for every Pokemon. But I feel like there's that select few that just result in a miserable playing experience. When something can't even level up with the rest of the team because it's constantly getting knocked out in one hit, or it's dragging out battles dealing minimal amounts of damage, it can really dampen the fun.

Actually you got me there. Don't really have a counterpoint to that. rather narrow minded of me but I was literally only thinking of progressing through the game. I did enjoy the contests in gen 3, even though I just entered something from my team and didn't win.

But now that you mentioned it, it could be entertaining to build a contest farfetch'ed.

ZeoStar, I think you ninja'd VisionOfMilotic earlier.

Ah my mistake. I think @VisionOfMilotic has the invisibility mode enabled, so it's hard to get a feel for if i'm about to cut off another post. Usually I back off if someone else in viewable in the thread. (just shows up as 2 people viewing, but I can't see who).

also 20 farfetch'd is a winner.
