That's fair but both have some differences that not one outclasses another. I do like Tangrowth myself but I prefer Foongus line myself, jus as personal preference.

Iirc they had a similar function to voltorb/electrode. Some of the items lying around would be a Foongus battle instead when interacted with.

I personally think the worst Grass/Poison type for me is the Budew line but even then I still like them. I know Foongus will be discarded tho but I cannot bring myself to attack it.

Also, there are times where I would love using this line over the other Grass/Poison-types, esp since it has the bulk others do not. Team depending tho, because if it were sun for example I would use Venusaur, now that's scary.

I do love how its name is a nod for an album called Fungus Amongus.

I was def not saying they (Budew line) were not good looking. I do think they are as well, I prefer the mushrooms more.
