For example, Bulbasaur and Venusaur, but no Ivysaur.
Squirtle & Blastoise, but no Wartortle.

could have been to limit the number of pokemon and increase the diversity of them. Still a questionable choice tho. I thought you kinda had a pokedex to complete. If so, that would be quite a bad choice imo

There is a PhotoDex, but that has the mons sorted by the Island they live on rather than by Dex order.

Idc really if it goes up or down, but deserves a vote down at least lol. I even like a lot the design ad it's really unique but they really ruined everything by adding that angry expression on its eyes.
