Unlike all the other baby pokemon, mantyke does not have any exclusive egg moves. So then I ask, what was the purpose of this baby pokemon? That is really inconsistent and goes against what Game Freak tried to do with baby pokemon.

I'd say buff ice types as a whole first and then make other types immune to hail. Where ice type stand now, they're really below bug types.

I agree that the Ice type needs to be buffed. I'd make it resist Water, Ground, Flying, Fairy, and maybe Bug too.

Bug has it bad already. Resisting water should have been a thing for ice types long ago. Resisting fairy could have been good. Resisting ground... idk about that one. Resisting flying I think is too much because most flying types are phys. attackers and ice types are mainly phys. walls.

Abomasnow is one of the most divisive pokemon I have seen. Many say it's terrible because of its weaknesses, others say the pokemon is underrated because of access to wood hammer, blizzard's increased accuracy under hail, and ice shard. One thing I want to brag about is that I beat Red in HG/SS using a level 100 Abomasnow with those exact moves I listed.
