I would not mind making Musharna the mascot for the Dream World again. If anything, I think making Darkrai and Cresselia obtainable from the Dream World would also be cool. Like if you bring 100+ pokemon to the Dream World or do some side quests involving the Dream World would be cool.

No! It is literally a pidgey knock-off. Hoothoot has psychic moves. Tailow has guts, evolves once, and is the fastest. Starley becomes the best bird. This? No. It is a mere copy paste mon. At least it is better than pidgey, but less detailed. Pidgey has details with its feathers, claws, wings, and eyes. This thing has nothing but simplistic shapes all around it. Pidove is a flatter pidgey with less details all around.

Pidove at least has a good color scheme of grey. What is a bit disappointing is its abilities, and I want to mention big pecks first. Big pecks doesn't mean anything when Pidove's line is squishy and susceptible to stealth rocks.

There are better regional birbs like Talonflame, Corvinknight and Staraptor, but i do like that there are major appearance differences for the final evolution Unfezant based on the pokemon's gender. Because in real life male birds often have the more dramatic display i think the way the pokemon develops makes sense from a design perspective.

Pidove's second ability, Super Luck, is only good if you have a vast majority of high-crit moves. Pidove's line only has air-cutter, a sp. atk. move on a pokemon with below average special attack, and night slash as an egg move. You have a long ways to go to dethrone the real Crit King, Drapion, or to go against the crimelord Honchkrow and blessed Absol. I still think it's a good ability, but you're not taking advantage of it if you lack more high-crit moves.

Pidove's HA is rivalry, a flawed 25% attack boost that relies on its gender being the same as its opponent's. Tough luck going against non-gendered pokemon as there is no boost. Worse if your opponent's the opposite gender as your attack is lowered by 25% instead.

Why doesn't this line have Keen eye, or intimidate? That could work. Pidove's best physical flying move by level up is gust at level 1. Every other flying move it has is special attack, and Pidove's line is primarily focused on physical attack, not special. Or it's sky attack, and nobody uses sky attack. This is a problem that consists with its entire line.

Tranquill still suffers from a small move pool as did Pidove. Sure, you can teach it TMs, breed it egg moves, and tutor it; but what good is that when other bird mons can naturally learn said moves or have wider access to TMs, egg moves, and tutoring. The fact that it cannot learn something basic as wing attack is astounding.
