I love that this pokemon has a flaming wand hidden in it's tail, that it takes out when it's ready to duel. Now that's an original and fun touch. Fennekin is a pleasant-looking little pokemon, but the Braxien stage it's really starting to make a dramatic distinction between itself and the vibe of the Vulpix line.

Good call. Braxien has garnered so much popularity that it made it in to Pokken as a playable character. That alone definitely made its popularity sky rocket, especially more towards the darker corners of the web.

Why isn't Braxien part psychic at this point? It has a wand. You could argue it has a skirt. A wizard/witch skirt.

Perhaps it has to do with the skirt like design compared to the Gandalf rags of its evolution. Also its shiny is a nice shade of purple and indigo.

I love that image! I have always liked the design of our fox witch too. It's name Delphox is cool, it makes me think of Delphi and it's oracles. It's got kinda good speed and very good special stats. I would have a liked another hidden ability for it though, like telepathy or magic guard, or for magician to be less situational.
I think if it would be more useful if whenever Delphox attacks it makes the opponent's held item simply vanish, more like a knock off without the added damage, rather than the gimmick of having to burn up your item and then pick up something random from your opponent that may or may not be good for you. Or maybe instead what it could do is magically restore one of your own consumable items after use.
