Do you think Nintendo will change the starter types? Do you wish for Nintendo to change the starter types?
I don't think the types would change. There are other triangles, such as Rock, Steel, Fire or something, but the original Grass, Fire, Water is classic. They could do a reverse triangle with dual types though.

Do you mean like a grass/dark, fire/psychic, water/fighting, so you have no advantage? That would be pretty neat actually...

I think it would be better with just plain water/grass/fire though, without secondary types, because its simple and easy...just like the good old pokemon days...without all this wacky number do-da that makes my head hurt =[

Yeah exactly Jason22 the Grass-Water-Fire type is classic. But there is Grass and Flying too. Tropius is both of these so there should be a flying type in a grass starter's evolution.

Thanks, Fable-chan. I like the picture too. I think it's weird that Ash has two Sinnoh starter Pokemons. Because Dawn had Piplup. Ash only have Turtwig and Chimchar.

Which is the best of the water types?

The strongest is probably Swampert, since it's ground type too, and only weak against grass....
But Empoleon is pretty strong too, isn't it?

I doubt they'll evolve, the only ones that evolved that I can think of are Sceptile and Charizard...all the others stay small but are somehow uber powerful and beat up the elite four and so on, like Ash's squirtle and bulbasaur

Don't talk bad of Squirtle and Bulbasaur though! They're the cutest (and strongest, weirdly) pokémon Ash ever had.

I think Ash should make Chimchar evolve once. Iluv Monfernuz ^^
He could skip Infernape though.... it'd be TOO strong simply. We'd only see über-explosive battles.
