Appearance: Blond hair with larger bangs that cover half of his darker green eyes. Hes tall, tall skinny with hardly any muscle.
Personality: Aquilo hates being around heavy crowds and is very awkward to approach or talk to. Hes more into his book then with the real world. He is intelligent but often tends to over-thinks things as that's how he's in Entei cabin. He isn't jealous and would rather prove things with raw data than fight it out. He tends to explore in places at the wrong time and gets into bad situations. Trouble making aside, Aquilo isn't hard on himself for losing he just has to figure out what works better. He knows his trusty snorunt did his job and the only thing lacking is himself so he never blames snorunt. He doesn't know what pokemon he would want because most stray away from him as they think he is rather creepy. He takes care of injured pokemon as his priority before doing anything. He will jump off a cliff if it meant a pokemon wouldn't get hurt. Training is hard as he thinks its a bit harsh to battle pokemon out of the wild but tends to suck it up to get the levels and later heals the fainted wild pokemon. Even if he does loath his parents he would love to become a breeder just to flip them the delibird. He likes traveling to see move tutors because he is in contact and is very good friends with most. It is very hard to gain Aquilo's trust as he isn't very open. You might consider yourself his "friend" but true friendship is hard as he thinks people will break it. If you have Aquilo trust know that your bond will hardly ever brake and he will be there for you unless it defies his way of life.

Due to the this fact he hardly carries any belongings except his book with thousands of pages of information on pokemon. While reading he usually remembers his childhood. For him it was late night exploring to see all the pokemon since he couldn't make any real friend before moving. Before coming he begged his parents and told them that they would not longer need to watch him. They gave him an egg, which hatched into snorunt, and whished him out the door to train and to only pester him when it was time for him to go.

@cjpb: No need to apologize to us. The opening post was optional, but you still need to fill out your personality and history. Your personality section is about half as long as it needs to be, and without an opening post your history must be at least 350 words.
My advice for your personality is to describe how your character would react to common situations in the Pokemon world. How do they handle winning or losing a battle? How do they treat pokemon? How do they train pokemon?
My advice for your history is to use it to answer WHY your character has their personality. Most things happen for a reason, so you can quickly establish a chunk of your history if not all of it by describing the events that shaped your character into who they are today.

@DaughterOfDin: What I'd like for you to do is expand on your SU a bit. Right now it's very bare bones and since it is lacking an opening post it needs to be up to snuff. o3o
Ideas for your appearance field: Why are her lips red? That's usually a makeup thing, and makeup says things about your character--Which is good! How long is her hair? What is the color scheme of her shorts and tank top? Does she have a particular ethnicity? Are her shoes at all interesting? How a person chooses to take care of themselves is often reflected in their appearance.
What you have so far in her personality field is fine, but I'd like to see more. How does she treat her pokemon? Does she handle criticism well? What does she look for in a friend? What makes her angry? What makes her sad? Are there any other odd quirks she might have?
The history field is also okay, but once again I want to see more. What happened to Summer's mother? Give a few examples of how her father was 'amazing'. Why did he give her her Flabebe? Why didn't she have friends? What sort of adventures does she enjoy? Why does her father need to be taken care of? Is he especially old, sick, or does she just worry about him a lot for some other reason?

Personality: If anybody could describe Haru, they would describe him with one word: risk-taker. Haru never fails to jump at any opportunity that is sent along his way. Sometimes, this personality of his is his downfall as he sometimes fails to weigh the pros and cons of any decision. He "rides the wave" as he call it and adapts his goals with every opportunity that comes to his way.
His attitude towards dealing with other people depends on who he is talking to. He is respectful to elders, especially those who are really older than him and "had experience he could only dream of having." He acts as a mentor to the younger ones, especially those who are aspiring to be Pokemon trainers and travel the land. However, the only thing that seems to be out of place with Haru is that he loves the women too much. He always has the constant need to impress the women. This drive of him resulted to him being single since he could never stay put with one woman. It never worried him though.
History: Harawan Pommel grew up in Pastoria City, Sinnoh. He lived there with his mom and an older brother. His older brother left home early as he was really bent upon becoming a Pokemon Champion. He was the one who gave Haru his first Pokemon, a Beldum. So, together with his Pokemon, he left on a journey despite the protests from his parent. His mother had a very low view for Pokemon trainers as their father left when Haru was still young to proceed on his own journey. He never had been since and the hate Haru's mother has not diminished. However, Haru also harbors a secret want to be a Pokemon Trainer; even more, he wanted to become one of the regional gym leaders, in charge of running his own gym and giving out badges to young people. At fifteen, Haru also ran away, breaking his mother's heart.
He started by challenging the nearest gym which is not Pastoria City. He went to Hearthome with his Beldum by his side and together they started to challenge the gym circuit. However, because of his personality, his challenge is delayed by each unique opportunity he come across. He tried being a breeder during his stay in Solaceon Town. He learned basic electronic engineering under the tutelage of Volkner, he explored the ruins of Snowpoint. He even spent some months in the mine under Byron's command. It took Haru a few years, almost a decade really, to finish the gym circuit and collect all badges. It took him another ten years before he decided to take on the league, as he was off traipsing in other regions. During this time, he tried to learn everything he can regarding the geography of each region as each adventure of his is merely a representation of the location he was during that moment. By that time he challenged the Sinnoh League, he was already a really an accomplished trainer and managed to sweep through the league easily. After his exceptional performance, Cynthia, the current Sinnoh Pokemon Champion, offered him the spot of Pokemon Champion, the strongest trainer in the whole region that have competed in the League.
He declined however as his adventures made the thought of staying in one place battling the same people was too boring for him. His dreams had changed since he started his journey.
However, his talent was very good to waste to have Haru rambling around the countryside, doing whatever he thinks of doing so the League decided to send him to the Academy. Haru thought it was boring, being stuck in a classroom all day long with little kids at your command. However, once the geography around the island was explained to him, he agreed to teach, as long as he could freely explore all the areas in the vicinity. That as how Haru, at thirty-six years old, became a professor in the Pokemon Trainer Academy.

Personality: Metu is not unlike other Metagross. It is cold and calculating. It rarely shows emotions and obeys every word and order Haru gave it. It has been with Haru since day 1 and the two is close, despite Metu showing none of these emotions.

@cjpb: Wow, I am sorry! I can't believe I forgot--I'm going to go ahead and skip the second opinion so that I can get you situated. The history still leaves me wanting more, but in this case I think I'll give you a pass.
@Kurobat: I like your app! It took me way too long to realize I was reading a teacher app as opposed to a trainer app, but after I did everythign fell into place. The one thing I do question why someone who beat the pokemon league would only be offered the choice to be a gym leader. Would he not also be ofered the position of champion? If we can resolve that one question I think I'm ready to approve you.

She is fairly tanned thanks to spending a lot of time outside making friends with wild Pokemon. For this she may come across as disingenuous to some. She generally prefers time alone but will not shun the company of other people if approached. Although she won't shy away from battle Jordan is generally more interested in befriending Pokémon and learning from them, rarely catching wild Pokémon through battle (unless she believes it's what they want to do). She generally takes a gentler approach to acquiring new Pokémon, befriending them over a period of time and letting them decide if they'd like to travel with her. [/FONT]

She takes particular interest in ghost and psychic type Pokémon and goes to great effort to show others that these types aren't as creepy or unpleasant as many might believe. It didn't matter where her family travelled or who she met while they were there, the one real constant in her life was Eevee.[/FONT]

Jordan and Eevee both decided that they should explore this cave to get to the bottom of whatever was causing her father's symptoms. Whilst exploring they found themselves unable to shake off a distinct feeling of unease, as if they were being watched. As they travelled deeper and deeper into the cave it became apparent that it wasn't simply a feeling of being watched, the fact was that they WERE being watched, and by an ominous shadow no less. Armed with only a torch, Jordan's immediate instinct was to run away. It was only when she noticed that Eevee seemed largely uninterested that she realised there was probably little to worry about. It was at this moment that Gastly appeared before her, giggling and floating around Jordan and Eevee, trying to get them to play with him. Hours passed before the they left, new friend Gastly in tow.[/FONT]
[FONT="]It was a few months later when her father's work was starting to take up most of his time, and this in turn put a strain on his marriage. Jordan's mother wanted to return to her home of Lumiose City, whereas her father wanted to carry on his work in the Johto region. During one exploration she came across a lost Pumpkaboo, hiding behind a load of fallen rubble. Unlike her encounter with Gastly, Jordan found Pumpkaboo a lot harder to befriend though not through lack of trying. The ghost type was very timid and actively shied away from Jordan if she got too close. Not one to be deterred Jordan briefly left for home, only returning once she found herself a particularly fancy-looking pokepuff. She left it close enough that the Pumpkaboo could reach it without moving too far from the safety of its rubble fortress, but far away enough that he could see she meant no harm. It took a few visits and half a dozen pokepuffs, but eventually Pumpkaboo settled around Jordan, happily coming out to greet her rather than hiding beneath his pile of rubble.[/FONT]

Pumpkaboo seemed quite happy to come along after being promised he wouldn't have to battle if he didn't want to. Although she won't shy away from battle Jordan is generally more interested in befriending Pokémon and learning from them, rarely catching wild Pokémon through battle (unless she believes it's what they want to do).
