Tobias Andersen (still day1)
After around 8 hours, Tobias woke to bright sunlight shining through his window and jumped from the bed, tugging on a pair of boxers and a black tank top. He yawned and looked at the pokéball-shaped clock; it was half past two." I'm so hungry!!" He said, as his stomach growled "Amy and Honedge must be hungry too. C'mon guys wake up, lets go to the cafeteria and eat something." He opened up his luggage and picked up a grey sweat shirt, and a pair of black shorts, that had an Umbreon-rings pattern on them. It didn't take long before he changed, and wore his black-and-white shoes. Honedge and Piplup followed him, as he opened then closed the door.
Finding the cafeteria was not too hard, at this time of day its were most students would hang out, and anyone could hear their chitchat. He walked towards the counter as he thought What should i get? there is a lot of options. He saw a girl, probably the same age as him, standing close to the counter. Yey! time to make a new friend thought Tobias, as he awaited for someone to take his order.

This Is Halloween

A new day dawned across Oak Island, as much as you could call it a dawn. Dark clouds rolled across the sky and blanketed the island in shadow, a cold wind blew through the streets of the town and there was the feeling, no matter where you went, that something was afoot on the island. Dark forces were on the move, their sinister intentions spreading through the hallways of the academy like creeping vines ready to bear their rotten fruit. Mischief makers were out in full force, spreading chaos and confusion wherever they could while those of a nervous disposition hurried from one supposedly safe location to the next, praying for a haven from the madness.

In other words, it was Halloween.

The excitement of the holiday had everyone on the island charged with energy, an island with a population consisting mostly of teenagers meant that Halloween and everything came with it was taken full advantage of. The Academy itself was festooned with decorations. Paper Zubats hung from the ceilings and cardboard Cofargigus lined the hallways. Genuine Pumpkaboo were patrolling the entire island, handing out candy to any students who could make them laugh and the sky was filled with Drifloon and Drifblim, trailing twinkling lights behind them as they floated on the breeze. Many of the decorations were actually Ghost Pokemon in disguise - often as fake versions of themselves - waiting for the chance to come to life and terrify unsuspecting students. Most of these Pokemon were owned by staff members or residents of the town, putting their Pokemon to work to help create the perfect Halloween atmosphere, nothing unusual for a Halloween at the Pokemon Trainer Academy.

Something seemed to have whipped the wild Ghost types on the island into a frenzy though, causing them to abandon their usual haunts in search of victims to terrify. The Lugia Dorm, long abandoned to the Ghosts who had claimed it, was almost completely empty. As soon as midnight had struck the inhabitants had come screeching out of every window, doorway and crack in the walls. Staff had quickly mobilized and cordoned off the building, setting Ghost specialists to guard it in case any students were foolish enough to try to gain entry. Although it seemed empty they made sure the students understood it was likely some of the most powerful Pokemon living there had probably stayed behind, cunning enough to hope for foolish young Trainers to wander inside. Whatever had caused the spooks to fly the coop didn't seem to have hit The Dead Forest, the deadly Pokemon lurking there seemed to have retreated deeper into their domain. This appeared to have the Academy staff more concerned than the outpouring from Lugia Dorm and staff had been dispatched in even greater numbers to patrol the outskirts of the area. Students had been informed they weren't to try and infiltrate The Dead Forest under any circumstances, there would be plenty of opportunities for fun and frights elsewhere.

An entire wing of the schools main building was being converted into an elaborate haunted house by none other than Fantina, Gym Leader of Hearthome City, a Ghost Type specialist known for her flair for performance. It was to be opened once night had fallen and the word was that it was being designed to be so frightening no one would be able to make their way to the end. Rumour had it that secret doors would be hidden throughout so students could be pulled out at a moments notice when they became too scared and that there would be some sort of special mystery prize for anyone with the fortitude to see the challenge through to its end.

Classes were naturally suspended over the holiday period so that students would have every opportunity to enjoy themselves. Most were excited more about their costumes than anything else with some choosing to put them on the second they got out of bed, while others were saving them for later in the day. While many viewed the day as a chance to blow off some steam others were pouncing on the chance to catch a Ghost Type Pokemon now that they were just about everywhere on the island. Whatever motivation was driving them no one could deny that the spirit of Halloween had completely infected the island, for better or for worse...

Sydney yawned widely and rubbed her eyes before peeking from under her covers at her alarm clock. She had woken up just a few minutes before it was due to sound so she clicked the button to turn it off, eager not to have it screech at her if she could avoid it. She wriggled into a sitting position and pushed her hair away from her face, looking down at Miko who had been curled up behind her knees as she slept. The Pachirisu had her fluffy tail wrapped around herself and was doing her absolute best to pretend she was still asleep, hoping to be able to catch a few more minutes (or hours) before her trainer said it was time to start the day.

Sydney smiled and decided to let her Pokemon rest, stretching herself into wakefulness before springing out of bed and immediately going to check for the thousandth time that everything was ready for her costume. She'd worked backstage on several Pokemon Musicals with her mother and had developed a talent for costume design and make up so it was imperative that she blow people away with her outfit. It wasn't simply enough to maintain her reputation as a premier student and trainer at the Academy, she also had to make sure to develop her renown in other fields as well.

Everything was precisely as she had left it in its proper place. The costume itself, something she had been making for weeks, was hanging up and ready to go. A few of the other components were sitting on her desk alongside her Sableye doll and all the make up she would need to complete her look, carefully laid out in the order she would need to apply it. Happy that all was as it should be she turned to get ready for her morning rout-... wait a minute. She didn't have a Sableye doll...

Whipping back around she stared at the stuffed toy sitting on her desk, arms hanging by its side and large head tipped forward so that its chin was resting on its chest. Where had it come from? Had someone left it for her as some kind of gift? They would have had to have creeped into her room while she was asleep, a thought that made her shiver, because the doll hadn't been there when she'd gone to sleep. She creeped forward, slow and silent, eyes wide as she stared at it. Maybe it was a prank, stuffed with maggots, placed by one of the other students she'd beaten in battle. Probably that Ivrant boy looking to get petty revenge. She reached out, her arm seeming to take an age to stretch from her body towards the doll, extending one finger. She jabbed at the doll to see if it would play a crude song or something and as she poked it the doll sprang to life, jumping to its feet and baring triangular fangs in a wicked grin before taking a chomp at her finger.

She screeched loud enough to be heard through the entire dorm and yanked her hand away in time, staggering away until she backed up into the side of her bed and sat down on it, screaming again. Miko jumped a foot in the air at the wails, her tail fluffed up to three times normal size, tiny eyes searching the room for the threat until they locked onto what was apparently a very real Sableye. She bared her own considerably fangs and hissed at the creature before leaping off the bed and onto the desk in one bound, snarling at the intruder.

"Miko, no, no, don't, it's dangerous!" Sydney cried out but Miko, normally lazy and pampered, had reverted to her wild instincts on seeing Sydney in trouble. She launched at the giggling Sableye who bounced away, jumping down to the floor and running around the bed. Sydney squeaked and yanked her feet off the ground as the Pokemon ran past, hotly pursued by her Pachirisu. The Sableye jumped again onto the bookcase, hanging off one of the shelves by one arm like a Chimchar and grinning down at its victims. Miko glared up at it and prepared to attack, sparks of electricity dancing across her, when the Sableye started to swing back and forth, rocking the entire bookcase. Sydney screamed again as the Sableye flung itself from its perch, flying across the room to land all the way back on the desk in a crouch, as the bookcase rocked forward far enough that its contents came falling down in an avalanche of books. Miko had time to let out a frightened squeak of her own before she was buried in a pile of literature. Sydney launched forward and managed to catch the case before it fell over completely, breathing heavily as she pushed it upright again so Miko wouldn't be entirely crushed.

Panting for breath she looked around the room frantically trying to see where Sableye had gone. Her eyes locked onto her satchel bag, hanging over the desk chair, as she saw Sableyes legs vanishing into it as the Darkness Pokemon burrowed into the contents. Her eyes narrowed, her fear getting swept away in a tide of anger as she charged across the room and grabbed the bag by the straps, lifting it up and swinging it into the wall with all of her strength.

"Get OUT get out get out!" She screamed, pulling back and slamming the bag against the wall again, determined not to see this beast from hell get the best of her. She was getting ready for another smash when the Sableye ripped through the bottom of her bag with its claws, falling to the floor amidst the bags contents. Sydney shouted a word she really had no business knowing and dived for the Pokemon, trying to catch it in the remains of her bag to keep it contained. Leaping to the side it easily dodged her and scampered away, running under the bed. She looked around and seized one of her Pokeballs that had fallen on the floor, pressing the button and releasing her tiny Cutiefly.
"Titania get that Sableye, get it!" She called out, pointing at the bed. Titania, a Pokemon constructed entirely from sugar, spice and murderous intent, buzzed happily and shot under the bed, eager for the chance to inflict pain so early in the morning. The bed started to thump up and down, lifting into the air completely before slamming back down as the two Pokemon tussled underneath it. Taking her chance Sydney scrambled across the floor to the heap of books and started throwing them to the side, digging until she found Miko at the bottom. The Pachirisu was out cold but didn't seem to be seriously hurt which was a huge relief. Sydney was about to pick her up when Titania came shooting out from under the bed, smacking into the wall with some force before falling to the carpet, just as unconscious as Miko was. Sableye quickly followed, apparently the victor of their epic struggle, running across the floor on all fours like a Spinarak. Sydney screamed angrily again and threw herself at it, hitting the ground with a thud and catching a whole lot of nothing as Sableye jumped away again, grabbing the handle of her rooms door and using its weight to pull it down. It kicked off the wall and the door swung open, Sableye laughing and giving Sydney a mocking salute as it dropped to the ground, ready to escape.

"Oh no you don't GET- BACK -HERE!" Sydney scooped up another fallen Pokeball and scrambled to her feet, chasing Sableye our of her bedroom and into the Suicune Dorm common room. It bounced away again and landed on an armchair, laughing wildly at the mayhem it was causing. Sydney threw herself once more and girl, Pokemon and chair fell to the ground in a heap. She managed to get a hand on the Sableye before it could escape again and this time it was the Sableye that started screeching, wriggling like a hooked Magikarp trying to get off the line. Rolling onto her knees Sydney pinned the Sableye to the ground and with one last roar she didn't throw the Pokeball but instead slammed it right down onto the Pokemons face, the capsule popping open and sucking the troublemaker inside before snapping shut. It started to shake violently in her hand but she refused to let go, holding the ball closed with all of her strength until the tremors died down and the ball sealed with a distinctive *click*.

"YES! YES, I GOT YOU, YOU LITTLE &*$£!" She held the Pokeball above her head, kneeling in the middle of the common room in her pink Musharna themed pyjamas. Her hair was in disarray, her eyes wide and manic looking. Anyone who looked into her open dorm room would see two defeated Pokemon, her belongings all over the floor and that her bed looked to have been dragged halfway across the room.

Ivrant Lehort: Wake up call

Ivrant quickly shot awake from that screeching noise. Geez had halloween pranks started already? He was in his usual sleepwear so he could at least walk out of the dorm somewhat decent while Dynamo seemed to already be restless and eager to put on his costume completely wide awake and impatiently waiting for Ivrant to get ready. Though even he jumped at the noise coming from the nearby room. He wondered if anybody else had heard all of the commotion or not but nonetheless, he really wanted to see what kind of halloween madness was going on so early in the night!

"Comon Dynamo, already getting an Adrenaline rush and we haven't even gotten into our costume! Let's get a peek at what's going on out there!" Ivrant said, quickly heading out of his room dressed in a white T shirt, black shorts and white socks. Decent enough for him at least. As Ivrant was making his way toward the source of the noise, one of the doors had FLEW right open and nearly smacked Ivrant and Dynamo straight in the face. To his surprise, Sydney was running after what appeared to be a Sableye and it seemed like she was fresh out of bed as well. Ivrant peeked into the room after she continued her chase, noticing her two Pokemon knocked out cold and her entire room a wreck. A Sableye did all this? Oh there was no way Ivrant was gonna let her live this down. While Ivrant felt it would be incredibly weird for him to just go in and clean up, Dynamo seemed to be developing some form of PTSD just from the sight and didn't hesitate to clean this pitiful mess as best as he could. Well he couldn't really fault Dynamo for having a little bit of honor to help someone in need. It was kind of his thing. Even if he wasn't exactly a fan of her in general.

While Dynamo was doing his thing, Ivrant continued to follow out to the Suicune common room to see Sydney pinning a Sableye and pushing a Pokeball right onto its face to capture it. He didn't imagine the girl having such a fierce temper but that was definitely one way to catch a Pokemon. Ivrant just gave a small gold clap to Sydney. "Good catch there Sydney. All it cost was everything and the kitchen sink. Heck of a vocabulary you got there." Ivrant joked, a little bit afraid to approach any closer with how crazed her expression looked. "Guessing your morning started off well?" He said, noting how much of a mess she was.

After the discussion!

Kayrana lay on the snow for a while more, pondering about it. She finally decided to force herself to go towards the cave, even though Aurai urged her not to, and Whimsi wasn't exactly sure what to think about it.

Right from the entrance of the cave, she spotted the same Snorunt from before, she thought, and this time, from up close, she recognized it had a blueish pattern of diamonds on its back, which struck her as odd. She walked on and entered the cave, but once she did she tripped and fell on the snow—luckily, it wasn't yet rocky terrain inside. Aurai and Whimsi followed on the side, very worried about their trainer. When she lifted up her head, she could no longer see the Snorunt, and the inside of the cave was too dark to keep going, plus Aurai was pulling on her leg, so she decided against going onwards. "I'm sorry, Aurai, Whimsi! I just rushed in. I thought maybe we could find a new friend again… Whimsi… I'm sorry..." It doesn't seem like I'm too good at this, she thought, following on her stream of words, but she didn't want to worry Aurai more, although she knew Aurai would know her state of mind without her even uttering a word. "Let's go back." She said, trying to fake a cheerful voice, but actually deeply conflicted.

That was days ago and she had been debating on leaving a present for Rylie on her dormroom since that day, but she hadn't exactly mustered up the courage to do it yet. It was already night and she was lying in bed facing the ceiling while Aurai, apparently, slept, hugging Kayrana—Whimsi had again already fallen from bed and slept soundly on the floor, moving around every now and then. All of a sudden, Aurai opened her eyes and grabbed Kayrana by her cheeks, cupping her little hands on her face. Then she extended her hands on the air and made an 'okay' gesture. Of course Aurai knew. And Kayrana immediately understood that that was the signal telling her she should do it... she had to leave Rylie a gift. Could something go worse than before after all? But… what could the gift be?

It has to be something made by myself, Kayrana thought. I barely know Rylie, so what will I do, ahhh… maybe some gloves? A wool hat? Maybe both? Patches? Maybe all of it...??

...

After a day or two, she ended up with a gift box light blue gift box that had a blue origami flower along with an orange origami flower on top. Inside, there were four patches: two of an Alolan Vulpix and two of a Swinub; and also a blue wool hat. She had also made a trip to the forest to collect an orange rose with Aurai. She hadn't slept well the past days, trying to make the gift perfect. Aurai seemed happy that Kayrana was putting so much effort into it and distracting herself from negative thoughts. Whimsi was a bit bored with it taking so much of their time, but jumped around happily when her trainer finished it. Anyways, Kayrana set up her alarm very early so that Rylie would stumble upon the gift when she opened her door. And there were no classes since the holiday period had started, so that was perfect.

Next morning she woke up with the harmonious alarm—that contrasted with the gloomy day—and immediately went to the Blue Dorm. She asked the woman at the counter for the room of 'Rylie', to which the receptionist asked what was that she wanted, and Kayrana replied that she wanted to give her friend a gift for the morning. The receptionist finally gave in and showed her the way, considering it was Halloween—not that Kayrana was aware of it, of course, she had totally forgotten about it.

She went as silently as she could and left the blue box on the threshold of the door. She met a few early bird students but none paid attention to her being around. Finally, she went back to her dorm, and it was only in her way back that she noticed how gloomy the day was and how spooky the dorms had been themed. It didn't take long for her to look at her journal's calendar to realise that, yes, today was Halloween! And she hadn't prepared a thing! There were many Pumpkaboos roaming around, and she thought they looked pretty. She went back to her dorm and pondered on what she could do today. Whimsi woke up and Aurai waited for her expectantly. She laid on her back on the bed, looking straight at the bookshelf, and she noticed a costume book she had from when she was a child, so she got up and grabbed it, then sitting on her bed with Aurai and Whimsi at her side, looking at costumes; but she'd have to buy one, certainly; she liked making things but ah! There was no time now that Halloween was at her door. On the back of her mind, Rylie's gift and her possible reaction were still present, and also the Snorunt she had met that day… would they met again, she wondered? She had to go try and find it!

What will be of Kayrana this halloween? Will she choose a costume, and if so, which will she choose? Will the blue-diamond Snorunt and her meet again? The new adventure is only beginning!

Name: Dallas Yukira
Location: Nightmare + Dorm Room

Dallas looked around the foggy darkness in the square of a town unfamiliar to him. Not far away, there was a massive, towering building that dominated the skyline in the distance. He looked up in the sky where the moon shined in an eerie, bloody red, color. A creepy song started playing and as it did, the gravity surrounding him seemed to intensify. He looked down from the sky, noticing there was no one else around. It seemed like it was getting darker by the second. He saw a glowing light that reminded him oh a Marowak.

"Lavender...." there was a whisper on the wind.

"Hello?" He asked, but the ghost simply vanished.

He tried to walk toward where he last saw the light, but as he tried, it suddenly felt like his life was being sucked away from him. He fell to his knees catching himself with his hands. He started to breath harder, his fear rising. He was forced to his legs my an unnatural force. He tried to break free from it, but it was impossible. He tried to move every part of his body, but he couldn't. All he could move was his head. He heard a deep sinister laugh, "Dance dance dance! Dance until you die!"

He burst out into a dance he had never even seen before. He didn't even know how to dance. He looked around and saw Edge, Freeze, Blaze, and Volt, eyes void of life, dancing like he was. Then Jenna and Megami showed up in an absent minded state with their pokemon and they started to dance like he was. Even his egg seemed like it was dancing. It reminded him of a bunch of zombies dancing in formation. He tried to speak, but it was impossible. His heart started pounding harder than it ever had. He could hear his heart beat banging like a hammer in his head. His friends and pokemon fell like stones to the ground, except for him. He felt tears stinging his eyes, as he struggled in vain to get to them. He felt his head being forced to turn upward. He fought against it, but in the end he gave up. His head moved upward forcing him to look back in the sky and the moon was now an eye of a giant Malamar.

"Do not fear mortal.... you will join them soon... along with the entire world." The giant Malamar spoke in a slow... sinister voice. Dallas was now more terrified than he had ever been. He was helpless. He couldn't do anything. And this time he was sure no wild pokemon would come and save him. The Malamar started to laugh in delight.

But then he heard something... He listened closely as he stares at the giant Malamar head in the sky. It sounded like chains... rattling. The Malamar's laughter stopped. The force that had forced Dallas to dance was gone, he was able to move again. He ran over to his friends. He started to shake them, calling their names in vain. The creepy music stopped and all he heard now was chains rattling against the ground. He looked up from his friends, the full moon had returned to normal, but now it was being partially blocked by a massive figure. He could still see the moon through holes in what appeared to be a head. and two massive arms curved upward. It seemed as if five tentacles were moving around, blocking the moon at different angles. He was already terrified from the Malamar, this new giant figure didn't help matters, He felt his friend Megami move up against his hands, her eyes shot open and a blood shrilling scream pierced the sound of the chains, almost like a Exploud would probably sound like if it screeched in such a gut wrenching tone, causing him to cover his ears and close his eyes.

________________________________________________________________________________________

He heard a snap and fell backwards. He hit something solid and his eyes opened. He was looking up at the roof of his dorm room. He was breathing hard and he could feel that his shirt was soaked in sweat. He heard someone curse and he knew the nightmare he had just had was over. He felt the floor under his hands and he turned over, picking himself up from the ground.

He leaned up against his undisturbed bed to catch his breath. He had been sleeping in his chair, head on desk, unable to sleep in his bed because of the nightmares he had been having of Malamar since the cave incident. He put his head on his bed and closed his eyes and then reopened them after a few seconds. He looked around his room, his chair had finally given up on him. The right back leg had snapped, which caused him to fall to the floor, explaining the snapping sound he heard in his dream. He was sure now that the scream had come from someone in the dorm. He covered his face with his hands to try to relax.

He hadn't told anyone about his nightmare and tried to hide it. It was obvious that he hadn't been sleeping well for a while, so he didn't hide that fact. Megami was one of the ones that knew he hadn't been sleeping, but she didn't ask why. However, Dallas was certain that she was far smarter than she let on. He was certain she knew exactly why he hadn't been sleeping, because she had been going out in the forest to get him berries to help him stay awake through the day in classes, but berries could only do so much. She had also told him that she was looking for a pokemon with Aromatherapy to see if that worked, but so far she hadn't had any luck that he knew about.

He finally stood up and took his shirt off and went into the bathroom to wash the sleep out of his eyes. He was now 14, his birthday had happened not long ago. The good thing was, that he was sure he had at least slept for a few hours before the nightmare had occurred. He was at least glad for that, because today was Halloween. Even with how tired he had been, Megami and Jenna had both helped him bake a few batches of cookies, and he was selling them for 15 Poke Dollars a cookie, 60 for six and 100 for a dozen which they split the money in four parts, giving some back to the school while they kept 25% each. Today they were planning to make even more, but this time Halloween themed. He walked over to box that had went unopened for a time. He had received it a few days ago, but had been too tired and too busy to open it. The package was from his mother. He opened it and there was a letter on top.

Dear Dallas,
Happy birthday Dallas! I was originally going to make you just a few things, but I kinda went overbored like I always do. This outfit is made with so much love for you honey. I am so sorry that I couldn't make a scarf, gloves, or a new headband, but I am sure there will be other surprises for you soon, that may not be from me. ;) Yes I just used an emoji in a letter, I know, I am an awesome mom! Keep your grades up and I will speak to you on Halloween.

Love Mom,
P.S. I am really sorry for asking for Blaze. You can send him over whenever. The Pokemon Center will be holding him in care till I wake up. I love you son!

P.S.S. Sorry I didn't send you money. I figured you would make enough cooking. Remember, a baker should always remember not to make too many cookies for Halloween and save a few for Christmas. Because if you continue to make cookies, no one will buy them later.

"Oh Mom... that isn't how you use an emoji." He smiled at the letter and put it too the side. He took out all the clothing and placed it on his bed.

The clothing that had been sent to him was mainly orange in color with some icy blue stripes, trimmed with brown to break up the blue and orange, along the arms, sides of the torso and side of the legs. The package contained three Short Sleeved shirts, three long sleeve shirts, one light jacket, one heavy jacket, and a pair of new shoes. There was even a new messenger bag at the bottom, along with a custom made skin for his C-Gear that matched the clothing and bag.

At the very bottom, there was a small envelope that contained fire and ice seals. He looked at all the clothing and he also noticed a symbol that looked like a flame encased in a melting block of ice that he didn't notice at a glance. He loved them. But he wasn't done yet... he opened his closet and took out a costume wrapped in plastic. He wasn't putting it on this morning since they would still be cooking, but they had all planned their outfits. He took the plastic off and reveled a swirl of a few autumn colors.

"This should definitely get the attention of people to sell more today." Dallas smiled.

Ring ring ring. Ring ring ring. C Call. C Call. Ring ring ring. Ring ring ring. C Call. C Call. His C-Gear rang.

He walked over to where his C-Gear sat, putting it on his wrist, and then answered it. Megami appeared with her blue hair. She was surprisingly awake already.

"Oh I got it too work!" She exclaimed.

"Megami? Isn't it a little early to be calling... and how? Why?" Dallas asked.

"Oh! Sorry! I got excited to try it out. I finally got my C-Gear in the mail last night from my parents! I wanted to try it then, but I couldn't figure it out, plus I wanted you to sleep. You did sleep, right?" She asked.

"Yes. A bit better than I had in a few days. But I got woke up by the scream." Dallas said, ignoring his nightmare, but that knowing look was on Megami's face as if she knew something else was going on. She may be nervous and sometimes clumsy, but he knew deep down that she was far stronger than even she knew.

"Scream? I must have been in the shower, I just got out." She said.

"Didn't need to know that." Dallas smiled.

"Sor... Sorry!" She blushed, "Anyway! I have something for you, and so does Jenna! We worked with your mother on a few things! You want to have breakfast near the fountain?" Megami asked,

"Sure, but how will we get our food?" Dallas asked, "Wait... did you say you two worked with my mother? How in the heck did you do that?"

"She sent us a letter in the male and asked us if we could assist her in something. Oh and I cooked! I hope it is good! It was a recipe I got from my mother. Make sure you wear your new jacket! We will meet in a few. I need to finish getting ready." Megami said.

"Alright. I need to head to the Pokemon Center to send Blaze to Mom, so I will meet you afterwards if I don't get caught up." Dallas said.

"I will wake up the sleepy head. I think I have her number as well. Talk to you later Dallas."

"Alright. Bye." Dallas said, as she waved and they both hung up. Even though it was supposed to be a surprise, he was certain his mother had already given away what they had for him.

He quickly dressed, throwing on his new light jacket and a purple shirt and black pants. Once he was ready, he headed down to the Common Room.

Arwyn Wilton - A quiet morning at the Entei Dorm

It's Halloween. The day of spooky ghosts, haunted houses and pumpkins. Lots of people and their Pokémon dress up today. Arwyn also made plans to dress up later today. First though, he was planning to visit the volcano. He wanted to add a Fire type Pokémon to his team. He had no interest in catching a ghost type Pokémon... yet. It seemed like Arwyn was one of the first people up, since it was still quiet in the hallways. Arwyn went to the kitchen, he needed that sweet breakfast. This time, he went for some Starter Pokémon Cereal which was cereal in the theme of red, green and blue, the colors of the Grass, fire and water types. While preparing cereal, he saw a group of candles in an odd position.

''Huh, I didn't realize we had candles in the dorm. Are they decorations for Halloween?'' Arwyn came closer to take a better look, but quickly saw that the candles were in actuality a group of Litwick. They scared Arwyn out of his wits. ''Huh? I know these Pokémon. What are Litwick doing here?'' Then he remembered. Some students were talking about how Ghost type Pokémon were a lot more common during halloween. ''What are you guys doing here?'' There were 4 Litwick, and they looked at eachother. They said something in Pokémon language..... but Arwyn didn't understand. ''Well, just leave me alone, alright? I have no intention of catching any of you. I'm looking for a different kind of Fire Type Pokémon!'' He said in a harsh tone, but... he has bad memories of ghost type Pokémon. ''The Litwick scurried to the hall, probably looking to plague someone else. Arwyn could finally begin eating... right? When he went back to his cereal, he saw a different girl standing there. His bowl of cereal was gone, he saw that the girl had it. ''Excuse me, that's my bowl of Cereal...'' Arwyn said in a quiet tone. The girl turned around. She looked far from amused. ''And who are YOU then?'' She said in a loud tone. ''Uhm, I'm Arwyn and that's my bowl of cereal you're holding.'' the girl looked at her bowl. ''Well, you left it here, so now it's mine. Easy enough for you? Then leave me alone. Goodbye!'' With that she turned around. Arwyn started getting angry. ''Hey, it's just not okay to steal other people's food, okay?! Who are you anyways?'' the girl turned around annoyed again. ''I'm Rheia. Who are you then? Don't talk to me that way.'' Arwyn replied. ''I'm Arwyn.'' Rheia began laughing. ''Bwahaha! They let someone like you in the Entei Dorm? It's so funny it makes me laugh! You look absolutely useless. And you were accepted into the battle dorm? Don't make me laugh.'' Arwyn was just insulted by a lady. ''Well, I happen to be pretty good at battling. I'll show you if you're so confident!'' Rheia looked interesting. ''Oh, you want me to crush you? I'm fine with that. Later. For now, I need to eat my Cereal.''

''That's MY cereal.'' Rheia ignored Arwyn and went on her merry way. Arwyn gave in and made new cereal just for himself. Still a bit bitter from what just happened, he eats quietly while he thinks about what just happened.

Day 4: Spooky Scary... Bisharp?

It was the beginning of a new day... not a particularly bright one, since the clouds covered most of the sun. To be honest, most of the clouds actually looked like Drifblim, or Gastly, or even Spirotomb. Hopefully they were clouds either way."Hmmm... am I missing something here?" Cyan questioned himself. Of course he missing something. Didn't take long for him to realize: it was Halloween!

He Jumped out of his bed, being careful to not wake up the bugs. He opened the door of his wardrobe to check if everything was ready for the night... And it was. The metallic suit that resembled a Bisharp was carefully placed inside, waiting for the right time. Which was definitely 8AM. It would have to wait, just a little longer.

Cyan isn't the sort of guy that likes social interaction and that sort of stuff. since he starts overthinking, gets nervous and shy, and ruins the conversation. During Halloween however, he can just use a costume and no one knows who he is! At least not very often, there's always someone that can see who is under the mask. Or helmet. Or face paint. But most people couldn't, and that's why Cyan loves Halloween. The only downside is the sudden explosion of Ghost and Dark types, which are always, without exceptions, a problem. But there's candy, which is always welcome.

After Cyan closed the wardrobe, he looked back, and saw two eyes staring directly into him. Under that, a small smile revealed two sharp fangs. Cyan, out of instinct let out a small but awkward scream and fell back. The noise waked everyone in the room, and maybe someone on the room next to his as well. Lara, Tesla, and Max all quickly got up and got into battle position, ready to smack whoever been pulling pranks this early on. Turns out it was just Gaia, the Sewaddle. "LORD ^#@*%<> ARCEUS! Gaia, what the ^#@*?!? You scared the >&#* out of me! Just, don't ever do that again, like, ever!"

The little bug was upside down, hanging by a thread in the ceiling. Every one else on the room that were suddenly awakened by the commotion, decided that they were 'too awake' to go back to sleep. So that is how their Halloween began. Cyan changed into his casual clothes, since it was too early to wear a full metal armour, and headed out with everyone inside their balls. And a some printed out papers. On the papers, a bit of advertisement for a few things he was selling.

He finally figured out an way to make some money, without having to work at a Pokemart or something. During Halloween, there are a few things that everyone needs; Candies, Rare Candies, costumes and decorations. While he couldn't make candies, he could make decorations! Cyan realized he probably should have put these posters sooner, before the actual Halloween, but he could still make a few sales for people that were unprepared. He ignored the trainers that were fighting in the kitchen of the dorm, and proceeded to the bulletin board. On the paper, it was written "Don't have enough spooky decorations? Message (Xtranceiver number) for a well made decoration! only $30 each!". Under it, a photo of one of the decorations could be seen. It was an Spinarak made of wood and leaves, but that was barely noticeable, as It was not only painted but also heavily worked on by both Gaia, Tesla and Lara. If you plugged the strings into a electricity source, the eyes would even light up!

He went around the dorms placing his posters on the entrances, and even added an extra "Free Berries!" to attract extra attention. He only had a couple of them, but he never specified how many he had. Then, he was back to his room, playing games while he waited on for messages.

Suicune Dorm
Rylie jolted awake as the screaming echoed down the hall. In an odd, groggy mix of concern and confusion she took only a short moment to grab kit's ball and make sure she was wearing something, something being a pair of sweatpants and a tee shirt, before bolting out into the hallway to see what the fuss was about. Clearly, she wasn't the only one to hear the screaming, down the hall she could see that at least half the dorm rooms were open as confused students looked out into the hall trying to figure out what the heck was going on. Wanting to get there before the crowd Rylie nearly sprinted down the hall, letting kit out of her ball as she approached the common room. Sensing the stressful situation Kit began to tense up, a light snowfall beginning in the hallway as she did.

Turning the corner into the common from Ivrant seemed to beat her there, staring at Sydney in her victory pose. Rolling her eyes at his taunting, Rylie shoved past Ivrant and made her way over to Sydney. "Hey, lets go get some breakfast." Rylie said as she approached, trying to normalize the situation a bit in spite of Ivrant's mocking. As she got close enough Rylie muttered just loud enough for Sydney to hear "There's about to be a crowd, we can hide behind the dorm for a few minutes before entering again through the side door." She warned, beckoning for her to follow through the front door.

Meanwhile kit began to calm down again, her snowfall ending just before it began to stick. Leaving the common room much colder and wetter than it was just a moment prior. Clearly confused she began to follow Rylie, not sure what's going on.

Sydney Florencia Ramirez

Sydney shot Ivrant a look cold enough to freeze a Slugma solid, narrowing her eyes dangerously as she started to rise to her feet. She had been forced to accept that he actually was a real student and really did get assigned to the Suicune Dorm but remained convinced that it was some sort of bizarre clerical mistake. There wasn't a reality in existence where he was good enough to be ranked alongside her "Listen you little sh-"

She stopped short of whatever she had been about to say as Rylie approached her. The girls words broke through and Sydney realised that there were more people than just Ivrant around, her misadventure seemed to have attracted half the dorm to come out and gawk at her misfortune. She tensed up as she noticed some of them clearly muttering to each other about her and some of her anger started to give way to embarassment. "I.. uh, yeah, just... just give me a second..."

She quickly went back to her dorm to sort a few things out before leaving and was shocked to find that Dynamo was in there snooping. She moved around in front of him and started shooing the Pokemon out of her room. "Get out," she hissed, "you creep, going into a ladies room, when there are two helpless Pokemon here, and just - just - just touching her stuff! No surprise with who your Trainer is you little pervert!" She'd made sure to keep her voice low enough that the crowd in the common room wouldn't hear her. She couldn't believe it had just waltzed in and started pawing through her belongings. This morning was shaping up to be the worst in her life!

Taking a deep breath she scooped up her Pokeballs and called the prone Miko and Titania back to them before putting on a pair of slippers and wrapping herself in a fuzzy purple robe. She slipped back into the common room and shut her door behind her, careful not to meet anyones eye, and hurried over to Rylie. She fell into step with the other girl, keeping her eyes down and voice low as they left the crowd behind. "Thanks Rylie. I think I would have made a bigger idiot of myself than I already did if you hadn't come over. I can't believe that guy - he even sent his stupid Roselia into my room when I wasn't looking! It's like he gets his kicks from being as big a creep as he can."

Dynamo was appalled. Pervert?! Dynamo had touched no such thing! The thought disgusted him. Last time he decided to try being nice to the enemy. Dynamo simply dropped everything he was doing, literally, and made his way out of the room. Ivrant figured Dynamo wouldn't have taken too long but turns out he just couldn't catch a break. He was already gone by the time Sydney got back and at this could probably care less about what others think about him. He had a huge confidence boost today considering how confident he was about how badass his costume was going to be.

"Well that made my morning... Dynamo I can't believe you went in there! She's gonna think I'm some total pervert or something now and knowing Sydney she isn't gonna shut her mouth about it. Freakin girls..." Ivrant sighed. He didn't exactly have a good track record with alot of them in the Academy so far. That weird potion girl didn't exactly think highly of Ivrant either he figured. Well either way, it was time to get geared up into costume!

Ivrant had the pieces all set up inside of his closet along with Dynamos. He'd help Dynamo get into his outfit first considering it would be a little difficult for him to slip into it himself. They both seemed to match very similarly. Both garbs made of red. Dynamo's was a red open coat being buttoned together with a red rose right in the middle along with high red boos modified to fit his body. The right arm seemed fit with another red rose as well which seemed to be the theme as he turned out to be a form of mage character. A red mage so to speak.

Ivrants was a little more elaborate.Ivrant was again clad with red but this time came with a hat that had a white feather attatched to it. On top of that, Ivrant had put on black high boots, black gloves and and even had a toy weapon that almost resembled a true rapier. It was an incredible high quality costume and Ivrant couldn't wait to show it off to everybody. There was no way he would be topped. "Well Dynamo? What do you say we go out and see what trouble we can find?" Ivrant said confidently.

Rapier equipped, hat and collar adjusted, Ivrant and Dynamo went out of the Suicune dorm to see where their adventures would lead next.

Shelby Hampton
"I'd rather be me"

Shelby frowned at the costume her sister had picked out for her--if it could even be considered a costume. She knew it was Halloween and that she had agreed to this, but it wasn't like she had much of a choice. Nobody said no to Audrey Hampton. So Shelby had reluctantly agreed to her sister's idea. She had spent all of her free time with her sister, learning how to apply makeup and adjusting to wearing contacts. She felt it was maybe a bit much for just a single day, but she didn't dare say anything. There were two people in this world she knew to never talk back to: her mother and Audrey. Not that she'd ever talk back to anybody. She was too shy to even think about doing that.

"Don't give me that look," Shelby huffed at Cream, who was perched on her dresser next to the hair curler Audrey had lent her. The ice cream crossed her little arms as her trainer started brushing through her bedhead. "I already agreed to it. Audrey would be angry if I backed out now. Besides, this costume is a lot simpler than anything Mom would have made me wear."

Just the thought of it gave her the chills. Her mother tended to go overboard with costumes. She'd spend tons of money on fabric and spend weeks sewing together intricate costumes that were tossed to the back of the closet almost immediately. It was overwhelming. Shelby loved everything about Halloween except for the stupid costumes. Why did she have to dress up in ridiculous outfits just for free candy?

She sighed as she curled her hair exactly how Audrey had taught her. She didn't understand how her sister had the patience to curl her hair and apply makeup every morning. It just seemed like way too much work. She felt a small bit of satisfaction knowing that Audrey would have to go the day without makeup. At least there was some good in this. She wondered where Audrey had even gotten the idea for them to dress as each other for Halloween. It was definitely the most terrifying thing she could ever dress as.

She applied the makeup with trembling hands, watching her freckles disappear underneath the concealer. Even though the look Audrey had picked out for her was simple, Shelby was worried that it wouldn't look right on her. Audrey was the girly one. She was the one who put effort into her appearance. She was the better twin in every way. It was no wonder she had all her fancy academic awards plastered everywhere back home.

"'You should apply yourself more, Shub,'" Shelby imitated her sister's condescending tone as she rushed through the makeup routine, her eyes narrowing in anger. "'Maybe if you put more effort into how you look, guys would notice you!' Well, maybe if you weren't so stuck up, people would actually like you!"

Shelby finished preparing for the day in a bitter silence. She knew that her sister was just trying to help, and she appreciated it, but there were ways to help without sounding like you thought you were better than everyone else. Knowing Audrey, she probably did think she was better than everyone else. Their whole childhood, she had been constantly showered in praises for doing just about anything. It had to have gone to her head at least a little bit. As cruel as it sounded, Shelby almost wanted someone to knock her down a peg. Then maybe she'd be a bit nicer. Her pride might get damaged a bit, but she'd have to learn eventually that the world doesn't revolve around her.

"You ready to go, Cream?" Shelby didn't dare look in the mirror after getting dressed and putting the contacts in. She already knew what she'd look like. She'd look exactly like her sister, and she wasn't sure she'd be able to handle it. The outfit Audrey had lent her just reeked of preppiness: an orange sweater over a black and white spotted shirt (with a matching ribbon to boot), knee high socks, and a pair of flats. At least the clothes were comfortable. She didn't think she'd ever forgive her sister if she'd picked something uncomfortable. She grabbed a hairtie and the little black backpack her sister had also let her borrow--it was some kind of designer brand-- and made her way out of the dorms. She didn't really have anything planned, but Audrey would kill her if she didn't at least get out of her room.

Name: Dallas Yukira
Location: Suicune Dorm and Pokemon Center.

Dallas walked down the hall toward the common room, his pokemon egg on his back. He passed a number of students in the hall, most of them woken by the scream that woke him up, but unlike him, most seemed very unhappy with the early morning prank. As he entered the common room, a girl was rushing out in her pajamas. By the way she was leaving the common room, Dallas was sure she had been the one to scream.

"I need to remember to thank her later." Dalllas muttered to himself.

There was a boy and another girl who had also caught his attention, both seemed to know the girl in some form. Shortly after, other people started arriving in the dorm room. Dallas didn't know many of these people, so before they started asking him what he knew about the screaming, he left the dorm, following behind the boy that had caught his attention a few moments ago.

As he left the dorm, a gust of wind surged through he door. It was definitely autumn. He looked up into the sky, which was covered by dark clouds that looked like could drop buckets of rain... or even snow at a moments notice.

"Hmm... I wonder if it is a good idea to eat outside this morning? It is still early, by the time those two get ready, it will probably be spring." He smiled to himself.

He started to walk in the direction of the pokemon center when he spotted a number of Pumpkaboo walking the streets. This reminded him of home. Since he was from Kalos, he and his family would celebrate the Gourgeist Festival, which was very similar to Halloween in many ways. Humans and Pokemon alike would dress up like other pokemon. People would also trade sweets with each other, most notably candy. At the end they would shoot fireworks. There wasn't really anything scary about the festival like Halloween, but they were still the same in many ways.

A Pumkaboo hovered over to him, 'Pumkaboo.' The pokemon said, showing a large amount of candy. Dallas tried to take some, but the pokemon pulled them away, and shook its head.

"Well it is Halloween, so I guess I have to make you laugh or something for candy? I think that is what the info said about today." Dallas said, the Pumkaboo nodding.

"Let me think....." Dallas put a his index finger and thumb on his chin. After a few minutes of thinking, he came up with a joke, "What do you call a daredevil Weedle who does stunts on a motorcycle?"

Already the pokemon was trying not to laugh, probably at the picture of a weedle on a bike, 'Pumka?'

"Weedle Knievell!" Dallas exclaimed.

The Pumkaboo started laughing and held out the bag for Dallas. Dallas was laughing at the Pumkaboo, but managed to take four pieces of candy. One for himself now, one for later and the the other two for his friends, "Bye Pumkaboo! Try not to laugh too much or you might pumkaboo yourself." Dallas laughed, causing the pokemon to laugh even more.

Dallas walked down the streets, noticing all the decorations, that he hadn't noticed. The leaves were changing in color, some already falling due to the lower amount of sunlight. He had forgotten that he and his friends were going to make a stall or kart today to sell more sweets. He unwrapped his candy and popped it in his mouth, putting the other three in his pocket and throwing the wrapper in the trash. He looked up in the sky again and noticed that there was a large amount of Drifloon and Drifblim floating on the breeze. It had been a while since there had been an incident with whoever had been watching him since he arrived on the island. He thoughts went back to the Malamar in his dream, causing him to shiver slightly as a gust of wind blew by him. Then his mind went to the silhouette in his dream, the large tentacle like figure with the upward curving arms, but instead of freaking him out, it soothed him slightly. He stopped to look around the court yard once again, few were already up in about, but he saw shadowy figures walking around, and a number of Pumkaboo giving out candy or laughing.

"Something tells me that a lot of ghost type pokemon will be caught today. This is Halloween after all." Dallas said, continuing his walk to the main building and center.

He finally arrived at the pokemon center, "Good morning and Happy Halloween!" Nurse Joy called, Dallas' eyes found her, then her eyes opened, "Please tell me your pokemon aren't hurt already."

"Happy Halloween Nurse Joy! And no, I just need to send a pokemon to my mother. She needs him for the holiday seasons." Dallas answered.

"Ok. Well feel free to use one of the transfer stations." Nurse Joy said.

"Thank you." Dallas announced.

Dallas walked over to one of the transfer stations and took a seat. He was about to hit the button then paused. As he realized he was about to send his 'fire' away from his 'fire and ice' team. At that moment, Blaze popped out of its pokeball, facing Dallas.

"Hey Blaze, are you ready? I'd love to keep you, but Mom needs your help for a while. This will be the first time we will be apart since we met." Dallas pet Blaze.

Its eyes watered, 'Pix?' Blaze sounded.

"No not forever. We will always be friends. You are just going home for a while, while I stay here at school." Dallas looked at the tearful eyes of Blaze.

'Pix pix. Vulpix pix. Vulpix.' Blaze stood on its hind legs and placed its front paws on Dallas shoulder and started to nuzzle Dallas' face with his.

"Yeah. I will get stronger. You go on and help Mom. I will see you again soon. I promise." Dallas said, putting his arms around Blaze, hugging the fire fox pokemon. After a minute, Freeze, his Alolan Vulpix, appeared from its ball and the two Vulpix brushed up against one another, then touching noses. Dallas let the two say their good byes and he started up the transfer station. It started and a video of his mother appeared.

"Oh Dallas. Wasn't expecting you so soon." His mother said

"Mom? Isn't it early there?" Dallas asked

"Yes, but its not too bad. I had to get up to start baking anyway. I see you are wearing your new jacket. I hope you like them."

"I do."

Dallas and his mother chatted for a few minutes and then it was ready to send Blaze off. Dallas returned Blaze and popped him into the transfer machine. The ball disappeared with a few seconds. They confirmed that the transfer was complete and his Blaze reappeared beside his mom, licking the camera. They said there good byes and Dallas sat for a few more minutes, looking at a blank screen. He knew that Blaze was just with his mother, but he couldn't help, but feel sad. Freeze returned to her poke ball and Dallas stood up and walked outside to admire the decorations until he received a call from his friends. Although with the hardest part of the day out of the way, he was now determined to enjoy today no matter what happened. He wanted to make new friends and play tricks on people. He couldn't wait to meet new people, but most of all, he couldn't wait to cook. He knew it would be a challenge without Blaze, but he enjoyed a good challenge.

Suicune Dorm

Rylie couldn't help but just stare at Sydney as she left back for her room through the crowd, did she just not realize what she was trying to do. As she went around the corner Rylie couldn't do much but just stand there awkwardly in front of the forming crowd as she waited, luckily they seemed to be more focused on the fleeing girl and less on her who was awkwardly left behind. Quietly she leaned against the back of a chair as she waited, recalling kit to her ball in the meanwhile before she had the chance to get stressed out.

Eventually the crowd began to disperse back to their rooms, most of them likely going back to catch up on sleep as Sydney reappeared from around the corner. "Ya know, I meant that as an excuse for you not to have to go back through the crowd right?" Rylie said in a hushed tone as they left through the front door. Looking her over she noticed the robe "She took the time to change as well? Egh, Whatever." She thought, looking over herself in the same Sweats and a Tee shirt she woke up in. "So it was really looking through all your stuff? That is honestly kinda creepy."" She agreed as she listened to Sydney's account. "What were you doing up so early anyway? Did that thing actually break in and wake you up or were you already awake? You do know all the real fun doesn't start till late night tonight right?!" Rylie said excitedly, unable to contain a sinister looking grin.

"No, I know," Sydney sighed, "But - well the thing causing all the trouble was a Sableye that had gotten into my room somehow and it had knocked out two of my Pokemon." She buried her hands inside the deep pockets of her robe as they walked into the cold air and shrugged. "I couldn't just leave them there, especially not with my door wide open like that. I guess I was thinking about them more than myself, huh? But thank you - again. You were really thoughtful back there while everyone else was just gawking at me like some kind of freak. I mean I didn't expect to get attacked by a wild Pokemon in my own dorm room, right? And then - yeah, totally, Ivrant's little weed sidekick was right in there like, touching my stuff. That guy is such a creep, I might have to kick his butt in a battle again just so he learns his lesson." Sydney shook her head, trying not to get too worked up again. "Guess I caught a new Pokemon though. I didn't really even think about it. Just didn't want to let the thing beat me."

"Oh, I was already awake when I saw it though," she smiled a little. "I've always been an early riser. I used to have to be to get to school on time, the city was just so busy, and I guess I haven't shaken the habit since coming here. Sometimes I use the time to get some extra studying done though so it's good for that. Plus I wanted to make sure my costume was totally ready," she returned Rylie's grin, although hers wasn't nearly as sinister. "I've been working on it for weeks, plus little ones for my Pokemon too. Oh... except Sableye, I guess... I hope it doesn't go on another rampage the second I let it out of the Pokeball. Guess I'll have some extra training to do today. How about you?" She asked, brushing some of her thick hair behind her ear as they strolled around to the side door. "Any big plans?"

Desmond Allen

Halloween Brings Everyone Together

Desmond looked around his room as he got dressed in his usual garb, Hecate still curled up on the bed sleeping. Her soft breathing brought a small smile to Desmond's face. The last couple weeks had been a blur at the Academy but a good time for Desmond and his team. The three Pokemon were becoming better friends, Hecate could even tolerate Leo now after a couple afternoons where Leo didn't almost bite Hecate's paw off during lunch and Ares was slowly developing into Desmond's ace. Hecate wasn't thrilled of course but did have to show Ares respect for his power and battling ability. The foursome could often be found hanging out in the nearby forests and enjoying the nature around them and doing some light training to stay in shape but not necessarily get more powerful. Otherwise though, Desmond had decided to take a break from hardcore training like earlier in the year and focus on other things such as bettering him and his Pokemon's relationships and reading more books, particularly about Mega Evolution.

But today seemed like as good a day as any to make an advance in his dreams. It was Halloween and even Desmond couldn't help but join in the rest of the campus' joy for the holiday. There were no classes and Desmond was going to take advantage of it. He finished getting dressed, took one last glance at his costume in the closet before closing it and carefully woke up Hecate. The Umbreon slowly opened its eyes before letting out a yawn and taking a good long stretch. With that the pair left their room.

Desmond knew exactly where he wanted to go first that day. The Swamplands were said to be a good place for some challenging training, the pokemon being stronger than the usual stuff around the dorms. In addition, there was a certain someone he wanted to do a little training with and he wasn't going to take no for an answer. As he rounded a corner a picture flew off the wall towards Desmond from farther down the hall. In one smooth motion, Desmond dodged the attack and caught it as it passed. At the sudden stoppage of movement, a small little Pokemon that looked like it was wearing a cloak over itself, peered out of the painting. "I recommend you put this back where it belongs before you get someone or yourself hurt." The look on Desmond's face apparently sent the right message that he wasn't somebody the ghost Pokemon should mess with. As quick as the picture flew at Desmond, it was back at its correct position, the little Shuppet peering out from the wall at Desmond before disappearing, surely to find less frightful students to mess with. With that mess cleaned up, Desmond made it to his destination without anymore interruptions. He stopped in front of a door and knocked. He could hear some shuffling around, a crash, possibly a lamp, and a few curses before the door finally opened. Behind the person was indeed a broken lamp and a Rhyhorn poking at the glass, like it wanted to try and help his trainer clean up. Standing in the doorway was his old friend turned antagonist, Daro.

"What do you want Des?" The contempt in his groggy eyes and hoarse voice was clear, "It's our day off and I'm trying to sleep off last night's activities…" Daro yawned. A few of the other Entei students had decided to stay out late the previous night down at the beach to hang out and do some light sparring. Daro must've been one of them. Desmond had to admit he was a little hurt he hadn't been invited by the other students. He didn't think he was unpopular or anything but he supposed he was a little more quiet and distant than the others whereas Daro was lively and outgoing and the life of the party, when Desmond wasn't around of course. He couldn't dwell on that now though.

"I don't think you'll want to miss out on a good challenge?"

Daro raised his eyebrows, "What kind of challenge?"

"Something like going to the Swamplands past the Icy Plains and taking on some wild Pokemon."

Daro was clearly intrigued. He may still not have been Desmond's best friend by any means but the two had gotten better the last couple weeks, so long as you count Daro not finding a reason to leave the room everytime Desmond entered or giving him grief out of nowhere, as getting better. The two were still pretty icy like a Snorunt to each other but much of the anger seemed to have dissipated. All Desmond could chalk that up to was just because they saw each other around so much, it wouldn't do anybody any good if they were constantly getting into fights.

"Yeah sure, why not. Don't think this changes anything though ya hear me?" Daro gave Desmond the stink eye.

"Wouldn't dream of it…"

"Give me a minute and I'll be out." Daro closed the door. More shuffling could be heard, a yelp in surprise, Desmond could only assume Daro was poked by a stray piece of glass from the lamp, several more curses and once again the door opened and out stepped Daro and his Rhyhorn.

"Alright let's get going."

Shelby Hampton

"This feels weird, Cream." Shelby frowned as she walked towards the cafeteria, her hands tightly holding the straps of the backpack. She felt out of place enough in her own clothes. Wearing Audrey's was a completely different ballgame. Skirts and designer sweaters weren't really her thing. Audrey always ragged on her for spending so much money on snacks, but at least she didn't waste money on expensive sweaters. At least it was fairly comfortable and soft... And didn't have patches at the elbows.

I wonder if anyone will think I'm Audrey... The last thing Shelby wanted to do was have to deal with her sister's problems. She knew that Audrey wasn't necessarily the most popular student in the Suicune dorm. She was a bit of a loudmouth and had no trouble expressing her opinions on things, which led to heated arguments. Audrey's life seemed exhausting. Every time Shelby saw her, she was either arguing with someone or studying. It didn't seem like there was any in between for her. She didn't even talk to any of the girls she met at the beginning of the school year anymore. Was her sister just as friendless as she was?

Cream blew out little puffs of cold air as she floated alongside her trainer. Shelby smiled. She wishes she could be as chill--no pun intended-- as her Pokemon. Cream didn't have to worry about embarrassing herself. Even if she did do anything embarrassing, it wasn't like she cared. She didn't have a care in the world. The only thing she cared about was meeting new Pokemon. How did it turn out that Shelby's own Pokemon was better at socializing than she was?

This was going to be the day, she decided. If she was going to be dressed as Audrey, she might as well act the part, minus the whole being rude bit. She could go on an adventure or... something. She could try to make some friends. Maybe she could even catch another Pokemon! Cream needed another friend. Audrey's Pokemon tended to ignore her. It seemed like they took after their trainer.

Shelby held her head high as she entered the cafeteria. She could do this, she repeated to herself as she grabbed breakfast. It wasn't much, just a plate of waffles for her and some Pokemon food for Cream. She sat down at a table by herself and started thinking about what she could do for the day. It was Halloween, after all. She had to do something cool.

Outside the Suicune Dorm

"It was a Pokémon that caused all that fuss? What happened? Did you leave your window open or something?" Rylie asked shortly before letting out a loud, long yawn. Enjoying the chill air for a moment before finishing her yawn. "I guess I can understand though if you left your door open, I wouldn't want anyone snooping through my stuff either, especially if Kit or Hakan were out cold…" she said, reflexively looking towards her room's window, just to be sure. As she remembered it was shut and locked tight. "Geez though, I'd kick his butt for real if I caught him doing something like that in my room, if you ask me you're letting him off easy with that battle."

"I used to be an early riser myself, I live up north so when the sun rose it would reflect off the snow and alert everyone with a window to it's blinding display. Heck, most of us own a pair of sunglasses because it was so bright in the mornings, used to call em' snowshades. It wasn't till I got here where I got a bit more lax." Rylie explained, patting down her non existent jacket pocket, giving a very brief confused look before realizing she hasn't changed yet. "Yeah, you can say I have a few plans. Rumor has it that there's a haunted house opening up later tonight with a prize for whoever can get through it. I wanna get a group together and go for it." She said, leaning back on the door with her arms crossed as they continued to talk. "So consider that your formal invitation if you or anyone you know want in."

Ivrant VS Dallas

Ivrant proudly made his way out of the doors of the Suicune dorms clad in his Red Mage costume alongside Dynamo who was also clas in his own respective Red Mage outfit as well. They were both excited to show off their fancy attire. "Comon Dynamo you ready? Maybe the teachers are passing out some sweets? I know they have some Pumpkaboos that are giving them out if we make them laugh! You know any good jokes Dynamo?" Ivrant asked. Dynamo was already distracted, practicing supposed fencing moves using its vine as if it were a rapier. Now that it was in a more proper outfit the whole thing just seemed to come together. "Eheh... alright I'll ask ya later then."

Dallas was taking in the scenery and just enjoying to more at home weather. It wasn't yet cold enough to see his own breath. In fact, to him, it was too cold at all. However, the wind could be pretty brutal at times, causing him to place his hands in his jacket pockets. The leaves fell and started to cover the dorm courtyard, or at least that is what he considered it. He saw normal pumpkins and carved pumpkins scattered across the ground. There were paper ghost pokemon floating in some of the trees, although Dallas had a strong suspicion that some of them were actual ghost types, waiting for an unaware student to come along and scare him. He knew eventually he would have to deal with some ghost types that try to scare him, but for the moment, they seemed to leave him alone. He wished that he had a camera to take photo, but he didn't. Out of all the things his C-Gear could do, it couldn't be a camera. He would have to ask Jenna later if they could go out and get some pictures for his Mom and Dad.

As he walked about, a red outfit caught his eye and fell on a boy that reminded him of a muskateer. He also had a pokemon out that Dallas was surewas a Roselia, "That's the boy that was in the dorm this morning." Dallas said to himself, "I wonder if he could tell me who was the one that screamed this morning?"

Dallas began the walk toward him and brought up his hand, "Yo!" Dallas waves to the boy.

Ivrant turned his head toward the source of the voice. Ivrant was pretty sure he had seen this guy around before so he had to be from the Suicune dorms of course. Well no harm in making a it of conversation!

Dallas made his way to the to the boy's side. He looked down at the Roselia for a moment, facinated by the movements of the rose pokemon. He looked back at the boy, "You were in the common room this morning right? I was wondering if you knew the person who screamed?" Dallas asked. "My name is Dallas by the way." Dallas finished

"Ah, I'm Ivrant." He said, crossing his arms. "You must be talking about Sydney." Ivrant was trying to come up with ways to badmouth her to this guy but really would that make him any better? I mean it wasn't like he'd be making stuff up or anything. "Guess she had a bit of a wild morning or something. Why do ya ask?"

Dallas knew the question was coming, it was only natural, "Well, she actually caused me break my chair. I was sitting in it, half asleep, and she screamed, it caused me to jump back. I guess the sudden movement backwards caused the back leg to give out. So... I was going to ask her to replace it." Dallas answered, even though it was a complete lie. He really wanted to thank her for waking him up, but he didn't show that. Dallas' eyes wandered back to the Roselia.

"I am a little surprised your Roselia is so active on a morning with no sun and a cool wind. Then again, I've never seen a Roselia act like this one either." Dallas looked down at the rose pokemon.

"Yeah he's a bit different. His name's Dynamo. He's kind of adapted more of a close range fighting style compared to other Roselias. He enjoys it alot so I don't see alot of reason to make him change his fighting style." Ivrant explained, noting how into the role Dynamo was. "Well yeah there's alot to say about her I suppose. She's got this snooty attitude and always comes off like she's the top trainer in this dorm or something. I'm aiming for a remath to show her that this isn't a contest with the dorm. If there's gonna be a contest, I'm going to make it between me and her." Ivrant stated confidently.

The confidence that he heard in Ivrant's voice, resonated with his own that he hadn't shown since the first day. This intrigued Dallas, making him want to battle for once. A feeling he hadn't really had. So far the only real battle he had had was the one with Jenna. Dallas was aware that he would probably lose, it was pretty obvious that Ivrant had battled far more than Dallas had himself.

"I love that confidence." Dallas smiled. He looked at the clock it was still fairly early, then he looked up in the sky which hadn't changed from early, "How about a battle? I have battled far less than what should be normal for a trainer. An early morning battle should be great. It is still fairly early though and Ihaven't ate breakfast yet, so how about a 1 on 1 match?" Dallas asked, straightening his back.

"Alright sounds good to me! Don't mind a good battle to start off the day. I'm sure Dynamo is bound to get a good kick out of it too now that he's dressed up" Ivrant explained, turning to Dynamo who already seemed ready to go.

Dallas put his hands togeather, "Ok then. If you battle with Dynamo, then I will battle with Edge, my Pawniard. He also loved close combat. I think it would be exciting." Dallas knew that Freeze would have a far greater advantage over a close combat Roselia, but what was the fun in that?

"I'll let you choose where we battle. Then we will get started when ever you are ready." Dallas finished.

"Sure why not? We can get right to it here and now." Ivrant said as Dynamo stepped forward, vine whip ready to swing into action.

Dallas nodded, turning away to give each pokemon room to battle. Once he got to the spot he thought was enough room, he turned back around, facing Ivrant and Dynamo. He lowered his hand to his waste, unattaching Edge's ball.

"Let's go Edge! I know it is early, but this will get us ready for today!" Dallas announced. He threw his pokeball in the air, and thanks to his ball capsule with a snowflake seal and a fire seal, a swirld of snowflakes and flames appeared and then disappeared as Pawniard appeared form his poke ball.

"Alright! Let's battle!" Dallas yelled to Ivrant.

"Enguarde!" Ivrant shouted as Dynamo quickly made its first move, extending out its vines and flinging them right toward Edge's feet to attempt wrapping them around and tripping him right onto his back to start off and apply a bit of pressure from the start.

Both Dallas and Edge were caught off guard by the sudden move with no command. Edge recovered, jumping to his feet. He looked back at Dallas, even though it was hard to read Edge's face, Dallas knew Edge was just as surprised as he was.

"Dont worry Edge, we will find away to read his moves. Use Fury Cutter!" Dallas commanded. Edge nodded and ran at the Roselia in attempt to hit the pokemon.

Dynamo kept its stance firm, backing away and attempting to parry the oncoming attacks with his own vine swings, He fought just like a fencer as opposed to how most Roselias would usually battle. Still he had the usual grass type tricks under its sleeve. "Stun spore!" Ivrant called out. Now that Edge was up close and after taking couple good hits from Fury Swipe, Ivrant pointed its arm point blank at Edge and attempted to blast it with stun spore.

"Smart." Dallas couldn't help, but to say out loud, as the orangish yellow spores flew toward Edge. Dallas knew that this was stun spore thanks to his knowledge in healing pokemon from his father. However, with it being so close, it was impossible for Edge to dodge the Stun Spore. It was obvious at the power gap between the two pokemon. Dallas nearly called it, knowing there wasn't much he could do, but Edge shot a look back at him, not wanting to give up so easily.

"Ok then, use X-Scissor!" Dallas yelled.

Edge tried his best to fight through the stun spore in attempt to land an X-Scissor on the Rosellia while they were close to one another.

Now there was a problem. X-Sissor was one hard hitting move and Dynamo couldn't just simply swipe it away with his vines. However the stun spore took effect so he could take advantage at the opponents lost footing and try to fight back. Retracting its vines back to avoid having them get destroyed by the incoming X Scissor, Dynamo took the blunt of the hit and moved back to gain a bit of distance. "Alright then... Power Whip!" Ivrant called out. From out of Dynamo's flower hands came a larger more powerful looking whip, which he would harshly smack across the ground and bring up to strike right back at Edge.

Power whip zoomed across the area in whch they battled. Edge would normally be able to dodge it, but being hit by stun spore as close range, made it impossible to dodge. Dallas knew that it was a far more powerful attack than even X-Scissor. When the attack hit, it was over. The whip crashed into Edge and he went tumbling to the ground. Dallas didn't wait, for Edge to protest.

"Alright! That is enough!" Dallas threw his hands up in the air, yelling loud enough so that Ivrant could hear him.

Edge tried to get up, but Dallas shook his head as he walked over to the Pawniard, "No Edge. He is more powerful than we are. You were hit by Stun Spore. If not for the stun spore, you could have dodged that attack, but that is not how the cards fell today."

Dynamos play had worked, The combination of stun spore as well as Power Whip to take advantage of the reduced mobility had paid off wonderfully. It wasn't a very accurate attack by any means. It was more of a brute force resort for Dynamo to go to when he was in a desperate situation or was taking down a much bigger foe so eing able to hit someone succesfully with it would usually net Dynamo a huge advantage.

"Nice work Dynamo! Glad to see yesterday is paying off!" Ivrant said excitedly. The rest of his other Pokemon had gotten similar training as well and would be more battle ready the next time coming hopefully!

Dallas returned Edge to his pokeball and placed it back on his waste. He turned to Ivrant and put out his hand, "Great battle and nicely played." Dallas said.

"I knew I had neglected training, but now I know I need to start training a lot more."

Ivrant reached back out to shake Dallas's hand. "I'd like to think I've had a pretty decent win streak around here. Dynamo's got a it of a different style to most but he's still got some work to do. I've been working out alot of their weaknesses that past couple days. I got two others I gotta bring out and put to work as well." Ivrant said.

Dallas nodded, "Yeah I still have two others as well. Once I train up a bit and it isn't a holiday, maybe we can have a rematch, this time a three on three. But I got to do some training before then."

"Likewise. I intend to give that girl a rematch sometime after last time. I'm prepared for whatever tricks her Pokemon pull. I don't know what new things she's pulled off but this time I'll be ready for it." Ivrant explained, crossing his arms and looking down in thought. "She's been treating me like I don't belong in this dorm for whatever reason. Probly beause I got destroyed in our last fight. Worst of all she's putting a bad image on me in front of one of my other friends so I have no idea how to deal with that. So I figure if I'm going to prove myself, I may as well battle my way to the top so nobody can question it. Heh... shoot and that's after I just said its not a contest with the whole dorm." Ivrant laughed. "But I suppose it still holds true. It isn't a contest with the whole dorm. More like the whole island! I'll just keep going till the next wall stops me in my path like Sydney. And after I break that, I'll keep going to the next one. Simple as that."

A massive grin crossed Dallas' face. He loved the confidence this guy had. Even though Dallas was not huge in battleing right now, it reminded him exactly how he was about his cooking. That drive to become the best in something in which you love. However, Dallas knew that even in the cooking world, chefs were great battlers. Dallas also realized that eventually he would have to battle the Sydney girl as some point, especially if she was in the same dorm. It made Dallas want to go out right now and start training once again.

"You go show her that you belong to Suicune then." Dallas said, looking fown at his C-Gear on his wrist.

"I should probably get this guy to the Pokemon Center. Plus I still want to look around a bit, to see if I can get a sneak peak at the Haunted House. I am sure we will see each other again at some point today." Dallas finished.

"Sure thing." Ivrant said with a wide grin. "I plan to. Next time I see her I'm going to show why I was picked for this dorm. Not just Dynamo but the rest of my team too." Ivrant said, feeling more motivated then ever. "I'll see you around then Dallas. I got some prep work to do. Comon Dynamo, let's scout around town." Ivrant said, pulling out his fake model rapier and heading on off to the direction of the Cafeteria and the nearby Pokemon Center.

Desmond Allen

Battling it Out

The walk was about as much fun as being a Hitmonchan's punching bag. The pair of former best friends barely talked, instead opting for an uncomfortable, silent walk. Desmond had tried to start up a conversation a couple times but was rebuked by way of various grunts and mumbles. At least Hecate and Rumble, Daro's Rhyhorn, seemed to get on alright. After all, this squabble between their trainers wasn't their problem and they'd always got along well. Save for that incident in the library a few weeks back, it seemed like Rumble was happy to see Desmond and Hecate.

After the most awful hour or so ever, the foursome finally found themselves at the edge of the Swamplands. "Well here we are guys, you ready?" Daro scoffed and began trudging in. "Is that even a question?" Desmond just sighed and followed him in. The Swamplands was a humid area to say the least. Within minutes Desmond could feel sweat pooling on his body and he had to have at least 5-6 mosquito bites already. This place was perfect for training. Assuming one did not mind being eyed by many different sets of eyes. An Ariados in its shadowy web just waiting for one of them to get trapped, Hoothoot peering around corners deciding if there was a threat before falling asleep, and Gastly's disembodied eyes following from above. This place was definitely creepy and got the adrenaline pumping. What better way to spend Halloween!

Ahead of them, a clearing opened up. "Ya know, I'm not seeing a single Pokemon worth my time…" Daro said with disdain. "Ya better not have dragged me out here for nothing Des."

"Yeah, you're right. The pickings have been slim. We could go deeper in but that could be trouble if one of us gets beat…"

Daro scoffed, "You mean if YOU get beat! You were always the weaker battler."

That agitated Desmond as he grit his teeth. "Well how 'bout we put that to the test? Show who's gotten better."

"Works for me. Beating up on a weakling like you is better than nothing."

Desmond walked to one end of the clearing while Daro walked to the other. The two trainers looked at each other before nodding. In an instant both trainers tossed their Pokeballs. Ares came out of Desmond's and out of Daro's came a...Growlithe? Last Desmond knew, Daro only had Rumble. He must've gotten this new Pokemon recently.

"Ailo, start off with a Body Slam!" Desmond snapped back to reality at the command. "Ares, fly away!" The Scyther obeyed arcing away and back from the incoming attack, with time to spare. "Now use Quick Attack!" The bug type quickly changed directions and descended on the Growlithe, still recovering from the previous move. With no time to react , the Fire type was blown backward by the direct hit.

"Use Bite now!" In a fluid motion the Fire type recovered mid air and grabbed tightly onto one of Ares' scythes as the Scyther followed through on his attack, hoping to land a second. "Get him off you Ares!" The Scyther flailed around before finally throwing the dog up in the air. Daro smirked as Growlithe was flung upward. "Still got a lot to learn Des...Now Ailo, Body Slam!" The Growlithe recovered with a flip before descending, paws outstretched.

"Oh crap! Get out of the way!" It was no use though as Ares was hit full-on by the attack and sent straight into the dirt. The Growlithe hopped off happily while Ares struggled to its feet, clearly shaken. Desmond had to admit that was an impressive tactic that Daro pulled off. He really was a good battler but so was Desmond.

"Alright use Focus Energy!" Ares' breathing slowed as he focused all his energy into his next attack.

"C'mon Des, you know that's not gonna work! Ailo use Ember!" The Growlithe spewed forth small, hot flames at its opponent. Desmond and Ares weren't finished though, "Now use Vacuum Wave!" The Scyther opened its eyes as its scythes began glowing white, full of energy. In an instant two horizontal tornadoes shot forth towards Ailo and its flames, putting them out instantly and knocking the Growlithe into the air. "Aw crap!" Daro was visibly surprised by the move combo, the Focus Energy allowing for the Vacuum Wave to do more damage.

"Now Steel Wing!" The Scyther's wings turned into a shiny gray color as it dashed forward into the air, its target helpless.

"Not good!" Daro shouted as Ailo was sent into the tree behind him, "Come on Ailo, get up! We can't lose to some weaklings like these two!" The Growlithe grunted as it got back to its feet, wobbly as it was. "Atta boy. Nothing but the best partners on my team." Ailo grinned at his trainer and hopped back into the center of the battlefield, eyes locked on Ares. Both Pokemon were clearly scuffed up and struggling to continue but neither side was about to give an inch to their opponent.

"Gotta hand it to you Des, you've gotten a lot better."

"You've kept up too, I see."

Both trainers smirked at each other ready to call out their next moves when all of a sudden a dark, purple-ish black haze descended on the field, engulfing the trainers and their Pokemon.

Meeting a new person! And... Vampire Kayrana!

Kayrana was on the fence about the many costume options as she browsed through her book. A vampire, a ghoul, some spooky Pokemon. As usual, she couldn't decide. Aurai and Whimsi helped her narrow the choice down to about three or four.

She put on light green, loose jeans, and a plain orange shirt along with her dorm's jacket. It hadn't been modified much apart from two patches: one of Aurai, one of Whimsi. She readied her backpack, carrying only the necessary: her Dex, her Gear, and some little plastic bags where herbs are to be packed. Then the three munched on some berries and proceeded to set off towards the town-center.

Already on her way to the town center, they made little stops to collect different herbs, and Kayrana was always on the look for the Berries she needed to protect her friends from super-effective attacks. Trees were sparse on the plains, though, so there wasn't much to be found. Eventually, she sighted the conglomerate of buildings ahead and pressed on until she found herself on the main street. The three walked along the path until Whimsi—who'd been curiously prying around into every shop she could see—finally seemed to find one she wanted to enter.

"Alright, Whimsi, sure!" Kayrana said as they dove right into the old-fashioned shop. It was a mostly-wooden house with a cozy atmosphere. Simple, too: a counter to the right; a wooden table with lots and lots of costumes piled across it. In front of Kayrana there was the changing room. A very calm and low, sort-of-celtic music, sounded inside. The room was decorated with pictures of people wearing costumes, usually accompanied by the old woman who stood beside the counter. Kayrana wondered if this was closed when it wasn't Halloween, or if it just changed what it sold, probably the last.

Anyhow, she was greeted promptly. "Good morning, Lady Orange!" spoke the elder woman cheerfully. She was a woman in her sixties, blond-haired with lots of grey hair. "Are you looking for something in particular?" The elder gave off really nice vibes and an overall feeling of warmness. It seemed to Kayra as if she'd known her from before, somehow.

"Lady... Orange? Guess you're right!" said Kayrana, delighted to find this place was lively despite its antique decorations.

The elder woman chuckled. "Well..." Kayrana pondered, "Kayrana, Lady Orange here, was led by her Whimsi-companion here on the quest of choosing her Halloween attire, which she... forgot to weave." She was trying to mimic medieval-speaking. Meanwhile Aurai clambered up to her right shoulder and played with her hair.

"Oh, that is undoubtedly clear to me now, milady," the woman said as she walked around the counter and went near Kayrana. "Taverner Theresa here is to help you with all endeavors you might wish to incur in."

"And I am grateful--" Whimsi—who'd been browsing through the costumes—had found one she liked for Kayrana and tried to draw it off, resulting in the fall of four or five costumes that were above it. "...for--" "Oh, Whim!" Kayrana said and immediately started to clean up and re-order the costumes that had fallen down to the ground.

Theresa was quick to stop her. "Ah, don't worry, Kayrana! It seemes like your Whimsi-companion has chosen a costume for you... try it out!" Said the woman as Kayrana finished cleaning up and offered apologies while bowing.

"Ah..." she looked around, "oh... sure!" she exclaimed finally. And she went on to the changing room. After a few minutes, she came out. Both Whimsi and Aurai jumped up excited for their Trainer.

"I had no doubt milady could wear Dracula with such grace."

"Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make!" said Kayrana trying to mimic the Count, but ending up putting... not such a menacing face. And chuckling. "O, timeless traveller, how much is it that I owe you?"

"For my Lady Orange, no gold, free of charge."

"Uhm..." Kayrana looked at Therese with a puzzled face, "are you sure?"

"Definitely! And you should totally keep it on, I assure you it will work charms on any girl." Theresa winked.

Kayrana blushed for a moment. "Ah, uhm..." she pondered for a moment, "but as gratitude, at least, I shall give you one of my magical herbs. Tea, cakes, even aromatizers can be made with these secret little plants. Effective against werevolves, too." And she drew out a bag of herbs from her backpack, then handed it to Theresa.

"Oh, thank you, dear." smiled widely the taverner Theresa. "I presume... Lady Orange has to leave now, huh?" she said as she ruffled Kayrana's hair softly.

"Unfortunately so! But she, I, will come back for sure!" Kayrana said and started walking towards the door. Theresa seemed to think very highly of Kayrana already, maybe seeing in her a child she never had, and she stood there looking precisely... at nothing, for a moment. Kayrana interrupted her distraction: "It's been a blast! Thank you so much!" And she waved to her as she made her way outside, smiling, with her two companions following closely.

Once outside,—and thanking the gods that the weather wasn't hot—she wandered around the streets again. But she felt hungry, some berries wouldn't do. Whimsi and Aurai too made gestures that they wanted to go eat. So, they went all the way back to the dorms, left the backpack in the room, and headed for the cafeteria.

Once inside the cafeteria—this time she didn't get lost when heading to it—they headed for the counter and Kayrana asked for a berry salad for Aurai, waffles with cream and blueberries for her, and some different types of Pokemon food for Whimsi (she hadn't quite figured out what she liked yet), as well as squeezed orange juice to drink. Waiting for her order, she grabbed Whimsi and Ralts and held them in her chest, caressing them. Today should end up being a fun day, right? She hoped for the best, especially she hoped to make a new friends after her sort-of failure with Rylie.
