gonna need a reroll on that ampharos (rip, i love ampharos) it's not available at all in crystal, and i can't hack it in.

While trying to hatch a Tyrogue I got a shiny Cleffa which happens to be one of my favorites and silvers right im weak for pink pokemon so I was wondering if it would be possible to trade out Hitmonlee for Clefable?... The only other way to get one is near the end of the Johto half of the game and I only just found out about that, and this is random and all but is it ok?...

Spoiler:

Took Totodile all the way to Goldenrod before being able to catcb anyons else, he easily soloed the Flying and Bug gyms with no problems. Caught Jigglypuff and trained her outside of Goldenrod and back in the forest with trainers i skipped specifically for this. Hatched a Magby and reset for Tyrouge but got shiny Cleffa and was allowed to use her, trained her without much crying and got through the gym after a lot of failed strategies. By then Croconaw had evolved and Clefairy as well. Went to battle Chuck and didnt have too many problems, went back to Olivine and back again because i forgot the Secretpotion, went back to Olivine and then back to Cianwood AGAIN because i forgot Shuckie the Shuckle too. Beat Jasmine(regretably before Shuckie) and taught Shuckie Dig for tentacool trainig. Croconaw evolved again.
