UPDATE 1 2:12PM 18/05/2013________________________________________________________
Started the game as a male character naming myself Adam, the rivals name is Bonny (No Idea why I decided to choose that name it just popped into my head). Anyway the starter pokemon I could have chose from were Vibrava, Marshtomp and Sandslash, I decided to use Marshtomp who I named Tiddles, upon entering the first route I managed to catch a Charmeleon as my first encounter and named him Denzil.
Didn't get anything on Route 2 or Viridian Forest as I killed the pokemon I encountered (Whiscash and Sealeo)

Made my way to the first gym leader *Brock*, who you can guess was so easy using Tiddles, I have just defeated him and am now looking to carry on my adventure :D

Well I finsihed Mt Moon and beat all the pesky Rocket grunts, Picked up 3 new members to my team (Bruno the Poliwrath) (Touche the Meditite) and (Crink the Vigoroth). I couldn't help myself once I got out of Mt Moon so I decided to take on my rival Bonny quickly and ended up whipping the floor with him without any casualties, Meditite is going into the box for now as I can't be bothered training him as he only knows bide as an attacking move ;s

Haven't done an update in awhile so I will do one now! :D Did a small amount of training and got my pokemon to around level 22, Went to take on Misty and fount it rather easy with Crink and Bruno. Not really much else to say I am about to head to the Nugget bridge then head for the next gym! :D

So today on my Pokemon Leafgreen challenge I went for a stroll from Misty's gym to the next destination Vermilion City, On my travels I met a nice guy called Bill who gave a ticket to board the SS Anne, I battled many trainers on the boat and I got myself into a position where déjà vu hit me, can anyone guess the movie scene?
. I caught 3 new pokemon, (JoJo the Nosepass), (Deku the Treeko) *Who later evolved into Grovyle* and (Tiki the Lanturn), I decided to use only Deku as part of my team seeing as I have no current strengths against water pokemon! Anyway, after a good long look around the ship I bumped into my old rival Bonny who challenge me to a quick battle, which resulted in him loosing because my pokemon were so much more over leveled than his, Once that was out of the way I helped the captain cure his sickness and was rewarded with HM01 (Cut). I then said bye to the ship as it made it's voyage and looked on to challenging the next gym leader Lt.Surge!

Today I sat by the sea and wondered what I was doing with my life, whether or not controlling pokemon and using them as pawns to collect badges, forcing them to fight each other till they faint from exhaustion. LOL not really I went and swept Lt.Surge with tiddles! :D

Alot happened in this update, I caught a Lairon and while I was training him I accidentally let him die which annoyed me because it was my first death of the game, I have caught a few new pokemon who are currently sat in the PC waiting to be used and I caught a Rhydon who I added straight into the team and am currently training also I have done a whole lot of exploring.
First of all I made my way through the darkness of Rock Tunnel!
Then I ended up as this really spooky place known as Lavender Town.
When I entered the tall building in lavender town i discovered that it was a pokeon cemetery I tried to pay my respects to the pokemon but was soon interrupted by a battle with my rival bonny! I won him with no real effort needed
After the battle he told me something I will never forget "The spirits of the deceased roam this building, only the Silph Scope will be able to help you uncover their true identity" baffled by what my Rival told me I soon rushed off to the next nearest town which was Celadon City there were a large number of Team Rocket Grunts roaming the city and I saw one who looked shady so I followed him into the casino where he seemed to disappear but hold on? this poster looks like there is something behind it.

Just beat the rocket grunts and Gio in the Rocket Hideout was a really nice bit of training I got in down there as well, obtained the Silph Scope and now I am going to head back to Lavender Town!

After taking down the rocket hideout I decided to take on the Celadon City gym leader Erika, as you can guess Denzil made quick work of her and in the process evolved into a Charizard learning 2 new moves, Flamethrower and a HM Fly.

So I headed back to Lavender town after I defeated Erika and as I climbed to the top I discovered that the ghost haunting the place was a Marowak who had been killed by team rocket! and who would have the nerve to be there? Team Rocket! So I gave them a good pwning, After taking care of the grunts Tiddles finally grew enough to evolve into Swampert which was totally amazing! :D After the evolution I then spoke to Mr.Fuji who gave me a poke flute to help with the 2 sleeping Snorlaxs.

Been taking down all the trainers of route 12 I think it is, Deku evolved into Sceptile! :D

Just finished Routes 12 - 15, defeated all the trainers and got Crink to evolve! :D After finishing off the last of the trainers I ended up in the next destination Fuchsia City!

Just defeated the Fifth gym leader Koga, His pokemon were actually quite difficult even though I had Demolish, I also obtained Surf and Strength and caught a few new members for the PC.

Was going through Route 18 doing some more training and my poor Deku got hit with a Critical hit Sludge and died! I was so sad :(

Haven't chosen a new team member yet as it's going to be really hard replacing Deku, In lighter news I took on the Fighting Dojo and won! Got a Walrein as a reward and called him Derk. After I left the Dojo I was anxious to take on the gym but fount a rocket grunt preventing me from going inside, he told me to go to the Silph Co if I had a problem with him being there.

Made my way through Silph Co picking up all the Minerals, Tm's and poke balls the place had to offer! I also met my Rival Bonny who wanted to battle and he was a little tougher than last time but still wasn't tough enough to beat me! After that was finished a nice man gave me what was supposed to be a Lapras but ended up being a Weepingbell, I was annoyed but still happy :D

Finally met Gio again and battled him in what was a rather difficult battle, I decided to use Pottu the Weepingbell who I evolved into a Vitctreebell, I received the master ball from the rich dude who decided not to give me money and instead a silly poke ball :S

After Crink died I decided to use Sparkles the Dratini that I caught at Mt.Embers, It was supposed to be Moltres but because of the randomized static pokemon it came out as a level 50 Dratini which made me super happy! I am currently in Gio's gym and Sparkles evolved into Dragonair! :D
