The Selfie Syndrome

I can never take a selfie, because I'm extremely camera-shy and I'm also usually unhappy with looking at my own face. In fact I'm someone who hates looking at myself, or even hearing recordings of myself because I'm just terrible.
 
i rarely take selfies. firstly, i'm pretty bad at taking them and i believe i only look like myself when someone else is taking the picture. secondly, i don't go on social networks so what's the point if i don't have anywhere to show them off. i'm pretty sure my better angle is how people see me irl anyway.
 
I'm not that obsessed with selfie. But, I do that.
 
How many selfies do I take? Maybe one or two a year, mostly only to show pictures to the boyfriend since we're long distance right now and he always likes seeing my face. I'm not a very photogenic person and it's common for me to take 20 different pictures until I find the one shot that looks good, only to end up wanting to delete it ten minutes later because I start thinking it looks as bad as the rest. Basically what flight said, ahahaha.

Would rather people see me irl than through a photo. ;(
 
I don't take selfies due to me being ugly. Going to say this though; just because you take like 50 selfies every day doesn't make you a inferior person than someone who cries over people taking selfies or using technology they dislike.
