I think this layout screams "Haruhi x Mikuru could work and I don't care who says otherwise". Agreed?
 
I simply don't care if Haruhi winds up with Kyon or Itsuki or Mikuru or anyone else. In any case, she was right all along. Love is a mental illness.
 
I think I like Kyon x Haruhi the best, but that's just my opinion. I mean, considering how Kyon ended up kissing Haruhi, it kind of makes you wonder you know what I mean?
 
Well, I wouldn't say that, I mean Haruhi x Itsuki seems like it might work too.
 
Well, what about Itsuki x Mikuru? They seem like they would make a nice couple as well.
 
I've seen alot of people who are kind of in them too. You do have a point though, they're isn't much romantic interaction between them.

Anyway, the topic appears to be pairings, I suppose. I'd have to say that I am all for Kyon x Haruhi, and they are most likely couple. Throughout the series there have been more than enough clues to suggest that, with Kyon being "chosen" and whatnot. I'm really not a fan of Kyon x Mikuru at all.

I don't see where anyone sees Koizumi x Haruhi. He considers her to be a "God" and "charming", but I see no chemistry between the two whatsoever. I also can't see Koizumi ending up with anyone. :x Mikuru seems to be the most likely candidate if something were ever to happen, in my opinion.

You do have a point there. Still, alot of people like falling for pairings that don't have much romantic chemistry, if any at all. They come up with reasons nobody would even think of seeing.

I think Kyon was a ladies man though, in my opinion. XD I think he also liked Yuki and Mikuru but he probably liked Haruhi more.

I have a feeling that the only pairing that will end up as "canon" is either Kyon x Haruhi or Kyon x Mikuru. I'm not a big fan of Kyon x Mikuru though. x_X
 
I think I like Haruhi x Kyon more. Still, people tend to pair up the unthinkable. XD
 
If love is a mental illness like Haruhi says, then they all need to be committed to mental hospitals until such time that the illness is cured.
 
I think Haruhi is more better off with Kyon. If not Kyon, then Mikuru. I don't see her with anyone else really.

Mikuru is way better off with Kyon or Haruhi. No other person will suit her.
 
Um...maybe we should change the subject? XD

What are you all expecting to see in season 2? I'm hoping there will be more action involved. I couldn't say for sure what kind I just think that's what it needs.

Oohy,before leaving the topic of pairings,the only pairings I'm quite fond of are Itsuki x Mikuru and Itsuki x Yuki. Kyon pairings don't really spark my interest..but Haruhi x Kyon is admirable,I guess xD

Hmm,Season Two covers the Disappearence novel,or so I hear. x] This mean..more Ryoko probably,woot.
 
Oh yeah, I think David was telling me about that. It would be good if we saw more of Ryoko. I havent been able to read the novels yet though so I dont really know much about them. XD
 
I just like how this AMV skews Mikuru and Itsuki's personalities so that they're both horny and wanting to get into each other's pants, but I digress.

If season two is indeed based on the fourth light novel, then we will indeed see more of Ryoko.

By the way, if anyone wants to read the light novels and doesn't mind poor translations, then Baka Tsuki is the way to go. I think it's been linked here once before, but it needs to be thrown out here again.
