AJ let a grin form upon his face at the girls act, Kaki was it? Yes that seemed right. But Kaki didn't seem to be positive towards AJ right now, he could feel it. He looked at the Vulpix freak a little closer, she didn't look too happy, not that AJ cared. She would die at his hands as well, a slow horrible death. AJ could practically see it, No... and there was that misreable voice again, how infuriating.

It seemed as the Ralts creature was easily frightend, AJ decided to note this as a weakness. " He should make for an easy target." AJ chuckled quietly to himself. AJ had noticed something that set him apart from the others, his voice didn't get cluttered with Pokemon sounds as the others did, AJ decided it was probably because he was more advanced then them. More powerful.

AJ could only smile broader at this, the only target that wouldn't be very easy of a target was that Travis, his enemy. AJ would make sure his and Tom's death were the most sufferable, blood would be everywhere... death to them all!

AJ let out a demonic laugh, not deep but not high. It still had it's kid essence. AJ also despised Ruya, she didn't exactly make AJ feel confident, but that was before and this was now. AJ would make sure she died horribly as well. Yes...

They would all die.

At his hands.

Zaiku then found himself somewhat more rational and walked back towards the group, "Sorry guys! Ralts don't like hostile emotions, again with the instincts." Zaiku slightly chuckled, the picking up random thoughts of his words not being muddled with pokemon sounds, it was true. But it was then he realised he wasn't talking with his mouth, that he was actually projecting the words he wanted to say, psychic pokemon could do that. Well at least he would be able to retain English after transformation, but when he tried speaking with his mouth he DID get muddled.

He then picked up even more hostile emotions, but this time he hid his outbursts and senced where it was coming from... Aj... Bloodlust... Evil... Zaiku flashed Aj a stare of waarning, showing he knew about Aj's intentions. Aj was very powerful that was obvious from his disastrous pulse bombs. Zaiku held Aj in a much more threatning regard, and didn't want to talk to him any more. He remembered how he tried being friendly with him, and treating him like a little squirt, but that was all different.

What Kaki was saying seemed logical enough. I was just about to agree, when my brain started working again. It gave me the information of why he was with us in the first place, as well as how old he was, and who was supervising him. Uh oh, that would be me.

"Psy—but I'm responsible for him; how could—," Ruya's outbursts of laughs got me for a second. Just for a mere second, then I continued, ignoring the laughter. "How could Psy just stay away from him?"

I was hoping for an answer, but then Ruya appeared unexpectedly, first saying to Kaki, "Having fun?" The stupid thing I was about to do was answer that question, but luckily, I figured out it was not directed at me. I waited for Kaki to answer either Ruya's or my questions.

"Tom..." Kaki sighed at his question, and at Ruya, wondering why she was laughing. "He's blood thursty, and he's not the AJ he was before, pix. Vul I'm asking from you is that you be carevul. We have a group, pix, and a rather large one at that. Someone will alvays have an eye on him... I just don't want anything bad to happen to ya." Kaki said carefully. "I've already lost my Pokemon... I don't want to loose my friend." Kaki explained to Tom.

"Vul-- You'll be safe when - pix - we reach Ecruteak. I've got a bunch of friends up there. Vul, he won't be able to pix -- I mean -- harm you." Kaki concluded, and just a few moments after, Ruya came around, asking if she was having fun. Kaki raised her eyebrow, but smirked, showing off her canines as well. "Come to tease me about Travis again, Vul?" Kaki asked right back.

Ruya put on an innocently hurt smile. "Why Kaki, zel!" She began in a falsely offended tone, "Do you really think I would do such a thing?" Before allowing the Vulpix morph the chance to answer she continued, "Of course I wouldn't! Sneasel! I am, after all, just a lovable little, sne, Sneasel who only wishes happiness and joy to her friends."

She paused in a dramatic sort of way, batted her eyelashes a couple of times, then added, "I was just thinking it was rude, sneas, to be here flirting with ducky, I mean Tom, while your gallant hero watches, zel." She gave a very obvious wink to Tom.

At this point Ruya's rational side began to come back to life and she allowed a slightly sheepish/apologetic grin to touch her face. Pokemon personalities were very interesting. There was her, the annoying Sneasel who loved to poke fun at people; Tom the rather dull but good natured Psyduck who would probably start getting headaches from thinking soon; Kaki the fiery Vulpix; AJ the little twerp whom she liked very little...her feelings seemed to be shared in this case.

After a moment of pondering the ways in which everyone's personalities were changing, not to mention the far more obvious physical changes, she tried to be serious. "Anyway, sne, assuming we've chosen the right path we should reach Ecruteak in less than half an hour."

Kaki smiled at Ruya at her great acting skills the question that passed her lips made her want to laugh, but she held her smile. "Yes, yes I do believe you would do such a thing." Kaki nodded, her hands placed upon her hips as she kept holding that smile as she claimed to be innocent and such. At this, Kaki snorted, a little smoke following her breath and soon disappearing into the air.

Kaki decided to play along a little bit and she took her acting position. She looked at Ruya, mouth open with surprise when Ruya told her that she was flirting with Tom. Kaki made a few overly dramatic noises and finally took a full-of-yourself pose and cocked her eyebrow at Ruya. "You're just jealous." She simply said, rising her hand while twisting her wrist and finally holding her hand up to Ruya, a silent insult of "talk to the hand".

With Ruya's next expression, Kaki grinned at Ruya and chuckled, letting her had fall back to her side and her pose soften. Things settled down and reality came crashing down, the playful acting session she shared with Ruya was now over. She didn't know what that made the two in the Friend status, but it was still fun.

Upon Ruya's next comment, Kaki's smile grew into an excited grin. "Yus! Kome, here I come!" Kaki exclaimed, beginning to walk down the trail one more.

Travis heard something about flirting with Tom, but that was lost to him. Somehow, he felt apprehensive. Ryota's fur had always stood up on end before a storm, he remembered, and this was probably a similar thing. He didn't no why, but for some reason every particle in his body felt charged with tension. Somewhere, something was going on, he could tell... but exactly what it was he couldn't grasp. Come on, what is it? Danger? Weather? Enemies? What? He asked himself, racking his brains for the answer. If Ryota were here, he'd know what to do... aniki always knew exactly what was bothering him.

Travis didn't notice it, but slowly, the nearby pearls began to glow with a faint white light- so faint, in fact, it was hardly noticeable.

"Something's wrong," Travis growled, his eyes narrowing as he glanced here and there about him, sniffing the air. "I smell something, za. I don't know what, but it isn't goodza-na." Flexing his claws, he lowered himself into a hunter's crouch, ready to spring on whoever came near to him. This isn't good- I got a rush out of fighting those thugs, but that's because they weren't seriously prepared to kill us. They'd probably've been shocked if we'd actually died... now, whoever this is, if it is a person, wants to deliberately kill us. As this thought sank in, another one hit him.

If you're in danger, so's Kaki. And if the two of you are in danger, so is everyone else.

"Kaki, zan..." Travis struggled to get the word out an return to an upright position. "P-please, za... hurry on ahead with Tom and the others, zangoose. The-There's something-" Slowly. his face turned. Was it just him, or... no, it couldn't be. Could it?

"AJ.... zan?"

He had meant to say "..you?"

Kaki was happy about being able to see her friend again, and the rest of the Kimono Girls! Would AJ be stupid enough to try and attack while there were Eeveevolutions around? That, she didn't know.

She didn't try to think about AJ because it was him who pissed her off, first, with threatening Tom under his breath. At that thought, Kaki snorted to herself. Her train of thought was knocked off it's tracks when she heard her name. "Yes?" She asked, turning around to see Travis... He didn't look to well and she could tell he just struggled out her name.

She walked back to him and looked up at him, slightly pained. What was wrong? He wanted her to go ahead with the others, because he was obviously uneasy and his Pokemon instincts were kicking in. When he turned and said the name that she did not want to hear, she understood.

Kaki grabbed Travis' shirt and made him face her, pulling him just a bit closer so he could hear her speaking very softly. "I know," She said to him, "the reason I pixloded was because AJ was-- vul -- talking about killing Tom under his breath, of course Ricky didn't v-elp that situation out any. I just asked Tom to be careful, vul, at least until we get to Ecruteak. I have friends there, vul, and they'll v-elp. He's not the same, pix, and I'm not about to -- vul -- loose you to him." Kaki told him, but this was a bit more emotional than Tom... She didn't like Tom the way she liked Travis.

"You mean too much to me, pix..." She finished in a sound just above a whisper.

Name: Theresa Quinn

Gender: Female

Age: Fourteen

Location: [the place where everyone else is] Ecruteak City?

Pokemon to Become: Meowth

Appearance: Although she is fourteen, Theresa looks around eleven. She's very small, about 4'11", and is skinny; not under-nourished skinny, but more 'greyhound skinny'. Her hair is shoulder-length and her fringe hangs over her eyes, and she wears either a red or white headband - the colour depends on her mood. She has large, grey-blue eyes that are deep-set below dark, clear eyebrows. Her skin is fair and she has few freckles.

Her attire is strange when coupled with her cute appearance. Her favourite colour is black, and she wears a sleeveless, black hooded tee-shirt with the words 'punk baby' written in gothic-style letters. She wears dark denim jeans that are frayed at the edges, and if she's not wearing it, she has a black hooded sweat shirt tied around her waist. She prefers to wear knee-high buckled boots of black leather with a high heel to make herself appear taller.

Personality: Theresa's personality is a strange one. Depending on her company, she ranges from an upbeat, childish young girl to a dark, brutish tomboy. Her cuter personality is afraid of nearly everything and has a habit of hiding behind larger people and whimpering something like, "uguu". Her tomboyish side will challenge anyone and anything without [showing] fear.
At first, Theresa can appear to be a little antisocial. She spends a lot of time staring and analysing before speaking, making sure she knows what it is possible to learn about a person before opening up to them. Either way, she has a fiery temper and will never give up on a battle of wits. She will never admit to losing an argument, and is a sore loser in general.

Love: Single, undecided - "What comes, I take."

History: Nothing particularly imporatn has ever happened in Theresa's life. She grew up in a very average family in an average house, though she attended an expensive private school in Cianwood City for five years until her family moved to Cinnabar Island in Kanto. Again, she attended another private school for two years until she came of intermediate age, and she and her parents moved to the bustling town of Saffron City. Since moving there, Theresa has attended two different schools.

The real turning point in her life came when she was thirteen. On the 26th of May, she woke up to the news that her dad was dead. The memory of lying in her bed, being awoken by her mother and the woman's soft and shaky voice never ceased playing in her mind. Her grades in school began to fall, she got sick more easily, she found herself lacking in energy, and slowly became shyer than she had been and more docile. Her friends weren't exactly upset; who doesn't want a cute, short blonde person with large blue eyes peeking out from behind their arm?

Her best friend through this initial period of trial was her pokemon, a rather pudgy little pikachu. The electric mouse had seen her best and her worst, but was always there at her side, wanting to cheer her up. And so, upon the New Year, Theresa was not entirely calm about the disappearance of pokemon. Cue this roleplay.

Other Notable Information: Honestly cannot swim to save her life. (ha ha, get it ..? Never mind >o<) Suffers depression, and can change her mood in a second or less.

Roleplay Sample: I'm taking this from a wolf roleplay from another site ... if that's okay ...

Lone Terra was a vast, virtually uninhabited place. It had little in the way of protection or hiding material, save for the odd tree scattered about. Had the circumstances been even just a little more in his favour, Kalina would have avoided this sort of area at all costs - his silver-grey pelt had made him the object of more than one hunter's desires. He supposed that there was at least one thing to be grateful for about this place - snow covered the ground, turning the landscape stark-white. In the snow, he may as well not have existed, if it had not been for his shadow. The sun still rose, as bright as ever, and so his shadow cast itself as it had always done, and would no doubt do until he died.

The silvery brute watched with sapphire gaze as his paws left identical imprints on the thin layer of snow, only for the marks to be swept away again by the falling flakes that clung to his pale hide. The snow would melt with the warmth radiating from beneath his pelt, leaving tiny droplets of water that would call to the sun and be swept up in a golden glow, spangling the wolf's entire being in light.
Auds remained pricked, and oculii darted at regular intervals, listening and watching for a hint of a pack - that was why he was here. To find a pack. As Man began to find ways of traversing the places that the wolven had once found safe, so the wolves were being pushed further and further away from their homes and closer and closer together. Wolves weren't meant to live together, but as loners. Man had disturbed much. And maybe it was the promise of power that called to him. Or perhaps the security that only a pack could offer ... Kalina had lived most of his life alone, but now began to seek the safety of a pack, and perhaps somewhere he could call home, and someone he could call ... family.

With a smirk, the he-wolf remembered fondly his first few weeks alone; over three years ago, now. He had never hunted much as a yearling, so had taken it upon himself to teach himself how to get things done. He had stumbled upon a herd of elk, and decided that he would give this a try. Without even bothering to prepare, he had rushed in and bit down on the ankle of the largest deer there. Shocked, but not afraid of the small pup, the elk had bolted, and Kalina had found himself running for his life. Not that he'd really minded, Kalina had thought upon looking back on the moment. The feeling of leaping into the wind and letting it carry him and whisper through his fur was unmatchable, in his opinion. Really racing, speeding, weaving through the undergrowth got his adrenaline pumping and his heart beating - it was this feeling that he loved more than any other, even more than the satisfaction felt as fangs pierced through the hide of prey, the feeling of fresh, warm blood seeping down his throat, and the welcome sensation of having your stomach full after days, weeks even, of starvation.

That had been a one-off. Now, Kalina was a powerful hunter, who had learned through experience. He had learned to enjoy the kill and the reward, as well as the thrill of the chase. While he enjoyed running for his life, the ever-present fear of capture held him back. He had become an apprehensive wolf, and being in such an open space as this empty territory was doing nothing to help it. However, it was a risk that had to be taken. Over the barren landscaping, the wind whistled, whispering the wolf's name as he crossed the snow. "Kalina ... Kalina ..."
Taking shelter under a large, leafless oak, Kalina threw back his head and let fly from his snowy maw his song. Beautiful and harmonious, the notes rose and fell, occasionally holding fast and echoing through the cool, afternoon air. The song told of sorrow and fear, of anger and rage, but woven within the music was a tale of hope - a spark of longing and need, still burning as an ember within the heart of a wolf.

OOC: Sorry i haven't been around

IC:

Cain walked up to Zaiku who for no reason growled down a street.

"Maybe you should try bottling up emotions instead of yelling them down a street"

Cain then listened at what Tom was saying to Kaki. But then looked up at the sky and noticing the weather changing.

"Hey Tom, maybe we should pull out. It may get very bad around here if we stay to long"

Then Cain noticed Travis turned his head towards AJ. The Satanic demon Cain nicknamed him. Cain walked over towards Travis and AJ

"Whats going on here?"

FullmetalxFangirl: That is one of the best sign-ups I've ever read. 100% accepted! Now I just have to make that summary for you. *Accepted*

Now for everyone else, let's move this along. XD

--

I thought about what Kaki had said to me. I would have asked more, but then she began talking to Ruya. I was left to think about what she had said, so that was exactly what I did. Why would AJ want to harm me? I was sure I didn't do anything wrong to him; my sole purpose was to practically take care of him in any way possible.

"Um…okay…" I said.

--

It took quite awhile, but we finally arrived. It was 9:00 PM, and the sky was clear from clouds. All that were visible were the stars. I found myself looking up, hoping to find the once existing big star. It wasn't there, and I knew that it never would be.

My first question after our arrival at Ecruteak was what we were supposed to do next. But I was pretty much sure what the answer would be anyway, so I didn't ask. The best bet for us though, as I saw it, was to get a room to sleep. We ended up entered the Pokémon Center of Ecruteak. I bought a room for me and AJ. As much as Kaki had warned me about him, I couldn't just leave him. I had to watch out for him too.

Images of what happened in the boat to Vermillion came back to me, and the destroyed and completely burned up room just got to me. Fried duck. Uh…yeah, that wasn't a good picture for me.

I found myself just standing still as I waited for everyone else to get a room. All the while, I kept an eye on AJ. What could it be that everyone sees wrong in AJ? As far as I could tell, he was like the rest of us. That was enough reason to still be close to him.

We were finally in the pokemon center of Eruteak. Right after Tom signed up a room Cain was right behind him. He quickly signed himself up for a room. But then noticed that Tom signed a room with AJ.

Cain walked up to Tom. Then he asked hima question

"Tom. Are you still trying to protect that satanic kid. He tried to kill us and threatened us many times."

Cain pointed towards his own face which still had the scar where AJ had struck him.

"He just followed us here. We told him to go home but he followed us here. The least you can do for us is just leave him alone."

At the pokemon center Zaiku had noticed that Tom had still being trying to protect AJ, despite his creepy evilness. Zaiku knew that he had to keep an even closer eye on AJ just in case.
Zaiku walked up to the nurse Joy and booked himself a room. He entered it and rested his backpack on the bed, man was he tired.

"Hurry! Out of the way!" A high-pitched voice pierced the otherwise quiet atmosphere of the pokemon center as a small girl barged into the door. Her head was covered by a black hooded sweatshirt, and a pair of fingerless gloves, dark denim jeans and black boots meant that not an inch of skin could be seen, save for her face. 'Astra' blond hair hung down around her face, and large blue eyes peered fearfully out of her hood. Between her hands was grasped some small, shiny object, but her slender fingers of white china were wrapped so tightly around it that it could not be seen clearly.

Considering that her legs were so short, she was surprisingly quick. She ran swiftly on the pads of her feet and with a spring in her step, but not the kid of happy spring you would expect from a small, wide-eyed blonde girl who looked about ten; it appeared as though she were running from something. Uguu! Why did they chase me? she thought, deciding that one of the guest rooms was as good-a place as any to hide from her pursuers and directing herself towards the stairs past the front desk. It's not fair! I was just looking, and then that man made a scary face and now- uguu!

It was then that the girl learnt one of life's most imporant lessons; always look where you're going. With a resounding thwack, she collided with the unsuspecting Tom and fell flat on her back with a squeak that sounded remotely like a rubber psyduck. "U-uguu ... Th-that hurt," she whimpered, somewhat redundantly, rubbing her nose. Her bottom lip began to quiver, and her eyes began to water dangerously. Suddenly, she realised that she had dropped her precious cargo and lunged upwards and began to look around desperately, crawling this way and that on all fours and apparently unconcerned about being seen this way. Momentarily, her hood fell, revealing something that looked suspiciously like ears and long whiskers protuding from the sides of her face, but it was quickly pulled up again as she sat down, biting her lip and looking around nervously.

When Zaiku heard the commotion starting he exited his room and peered into the central area to see a young girl who looked around Zaiku's age running and screaming through the pokemon center. She had banged into Tom and fell on the floor, she soon got up however and off fell her hood revealing her to be a bit Meowth-ish. She then sat down looking rather nervous. Zaiku thought he might as well be nice and see what was wrong. He walked up to the quirky girl his psychic abilities revealed her name as Theresa. But thought not to tell her or she might wig out further.

"Hey, are you alright?" Zaiku asked kindly with a slight smirk on his face due to the incident being somewhat comical. "The name's Zaiku, anything wrong I can help with?"

Theresa looked downwards and stood up, brushing herself off in a sudden change of mood. " 'S'okay," she grunted, peering around and bending at the knees, then dropping to the ground to look under a sofa. "Uguu ... I can't find it anywhere," she mused, scrabbling around under pieces of furniture with a tiny, pale hand. "How far can it have gone?" She slithered on her stomach across the room to inspect the underside of a coffee table, muttering quietly under her breath.

Apparently becoming angry with how her boots and jacket restricted her movement, she kicked off the offending footwear and hesitantly unzipped her jacket and threw them into a pile in the corner of the room. Her features could now be more easily seen; short blonde hair, slightly angled features that gave her an almost meowth-like appearance, small round nose, large blue eyes and a tiny fang protruding from the corner of her mouth. More importantly, there was a gold disc in the center of her forehead, two whiskers poking out from both sides of her face and a pair of black-rimmed ears stuck up from the crown of her head. A thin layer of cream-coloured downy was just visible and covered the edges of her face and her arms, which were now visible with the absence of her sweater. She shot a nervous glance at the on-lookers, then continued her hunt for some unknown object.

"...."

Travis laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He had checked into a room as soon as they had arrived at Ecruteak, and told the others he was dog-tired. It wasn't really a lie, since he did feel a bit fatigued, but his real reason for coming up here was to be alone.

Since the journey had started, he had formed a close bond with the group, AJ the demon excluded. He didn't want to see a single on of them put in danger. If Morty suceeded in using his second sight, who knew what might happen? If the Pokemon could be brought back, Travis was betting apples to Poke that it was going to be dangerous. Of course, he knew that most of the others could handle it, but Tom... well, Tom couldn't fight to save his life. He was a nice guy, and fairly smart when his whole "duck" thing didn't hamper his human intelligence, but he was still going to get himself killed if he didn't shape up a bit.

Then there was AJ to consider. Travis didn't like him when they first met. Any kid who spent sixteen hours a day or so playing video games so violent that his father blanched at them needed to get a hobby. Of course, Travis reflected, that opinion might just come from the fact that he had never played video games himself, with the exception of the one time Ryota had introduced him to that one... ah, but that was in the past. The point was, AJ had steadily grown more and more demonlike with each passing moment, and whatever Pokemon he was turning into seemed to have strength to spare. But that wasn't the problem, Travis knew. Each time he came near the kid, his built in danger-alarm kicked in and hit him like a blazing rocket. And then there was his smell. He had assumed earlier that AJ was simply a Pokemon from a land he hadn't visited yet, but now he was beggining to wonder whether that was true. He could smell fear after all. What if, somehow, exposure to the rainbow and silver wings had given him the ability to smell evil? With a shudder, he pulled himself upright. He'd work himself into a frenzy if he continued to keep this up.

Then there were the pearls. They were sitting directly next to his bed, on a small nightstand. He had no idea what they were for, but he figured they were important.

Suddenly, his ears pricked up. It sounded like there was some kind of commotion downstairs. Leaping to his feet, he raced down the steps only to come face to face with a newcomer who had just banged into Tom from the looks of things. She also seemed to be hunting for something, though what it was he couldn't tell.

"Excuse me, za, but may I help you, za-za?" He called, nimbly vaulting into the room via the banister.

Kaki looked about the lone room, darkness creeping into the room. She did not need light, and she didn't really want it. Because of that star she had lost her lookout in life, but the people she met rescued her from her hole of sorrow and guilt and shined new light down upon her, offering another chance.

That... She would be forever greatful for.

Well, almost everyone. When she first met AJ he had fallen off his bike, and Kaki had offered him some help. Then, he was innocent, now, he wasn't the being he should be. She was positive that the Pokemon he was was only native to Sinnoh, because he was a Pokemon she couldn't ever place. Whatever it was, as he developed more she'd probably get which Pokemon he was.

But, she had warned Tom for a reason, and she should've asked everyone else, as well... She wanted to warn them all because they were the only thing she had left in her life. She had already lost her Pokemon, and they all were the most important things to her right now. The scars for loosing her Pokemon were very slowly closing, but the pain of loosing her best friends would be so devistating she probably wouldn't be able to piece herself together again.

She glanced out the window, seeing a building that she was familiar with. It's lights were on and she was suddenly reminded that she hadn't even visited her friends, and they didn't even know she was here. It had been a few years since she had seen Kome, and the last time she had seen Kome, the sisters were able to set her worried mind at ease.

Kaki stood and exited the empty room, closing the door behind her. She slowly made her way down the stairs, her ears sensiting some sort of commotion. When she arrived in the lobby, the gang hadmet a new girl, who was obviously a Meowth since that shiny plate of gold on her forhead really gave it away. She made her way towards the sliding doors, but not before taking notice to Travis.

She frowned slightly and continued on her way towards the door. "I'm going to be out for a bit." Kaki announced before disappearing through the sliding doors, staring at her feet as she did so. Kaki turned the corner around the Pokemon Center, bringing her head up to spot the Kimono Girl's home and then looked up towards the sky and all of the stars it held.

As she walked towards the home that belonged to her friends, only one question now burdened her mind: 'Will Travis ever understand...?'

For just a moment, I stood. I blinked, even. I was kind of out of it; spaced out in my own little mind and trying to break free. As soon as I did, I found that I had crashed into someone. No, wait, scratch that, someone had crashed into me.

The newcomer seemed to now be searching for something; I was obviously too late to ask for a helping hand, considering the others had. Then again, this girl had not found what she was looking for. I could still help. I didn't ask yet though; maybe I was just waiting for her to say that she was sorry for bumping into me, I'm not sure. But as the seconds ticked, I knew that it wasn't in me to just stand around and watch. That wasn't the kind of man I was. I'm not even sure if I'm still considered a man (or at least human man) anymore. I always thought stories that would brew out like this would automatically brand all affected as "freaks" or "its." Something to counter that though would be the fact that everyone would be called a "freak" or "it" considering that this was happening all over the world.

"What are you looking for?" I asked. I just had to.
