Hee hee, yesterday I went to a con and there were so many Talesplayers... two Jades, two Guys, two Lloyds, two Sheenas, lots of others, some I can't even remember... I'll get pics when they get posted XD
Were you at Youmacon? One of my good friends was there. I recently got her into the Tales franchise. XD

Gah, I haven't been here in so long.

Slipping into the topic, I will have to agree that Tales of the Abyss had the best characters in terms of each of them having the spotlight. Not to mention that I can't seem to dislike any of the Tales of the Abyss enemy characters minus Mohs. I adore Symphonia's cast, and Symphonia will always be my favorite Tales of Game, but some of them - like has been said before - was just casted aside. I mean, the only major thing Genis had was with Raine when they were almost executed, but really. Not to mention that some of the enemies (and when I mean some I mean more than just one) I wanted to punch in the fais. :( Each of Tales of the Abyss' cast had their own moment, and they were all great. And the God Generals have the be the best set of Tales of Enemies ever. |3

Now for a different topic, who wants to listen to the opening theme for the Tethe'alla Arc of the Tales of Symphonia OVA. |D

Genis does actually have quite an impact on the story if you look into it. For example,
Spoiler:
But otherwise his presence throughout the game is very little.

Why did it take so long for another four episodes of the OVA to come out? What has it been, two years? D:

Seriously, Yuan was a good character--they gave him some development, he was vital to the story, and he was an NPC so the fact that he wasn't always around actually worked to his benefit. (You weren't constantly seeing him in the party going, "just what's the deal with you??") I think a few of the characters could've been demoted to that status with no real harm to the plot. D:

Sometimes I think would be nice if he'd become a playable character, lol. And I agree, less characters equals more development, but Symphonia just seemed to have characters that almost had no business being there (Regal, particularly).

So, I recently picked up a video playthrough on Tales of Legendia. Since I don't plan on getting a PS2 like ever, I dove right into it. I'm now in the interlude chapter, having just finished Norma's character quest.

Without a doubt, my favorite character is Moses. <3 Everything about him is awesome. He's the ho yay butt monkey done right. (Sorry, Zelos...) I also like his unique weapon choice in a spear. Judging from his playstyle, I can guess that he's the most difficult character to pick up, but then again, so was Sheena in ToS, and I picked up her broken combo pretty easy.

Will's Character Quest was probably the most tear-jerking thus far, though Norma's had its moment as well. I felt more sorry than sad for her, though...she's usually such the determined one!

I have yet to see Grune's, and I'm itching to figure out what got her memory erased. From what I see from YouTube, her character quest is last, but I'm patient, lmao.

I dislike Harriet a lot, though. Her earthquake stomp scene is hilarious, which sorta saves her from ultimate doom, but still, she's a whiny brat.

Hi~! I haven't been on in awhile :3

So wow, alot of people like the Abyss cast the best, it seems. I never got far enough to get attached to the characters, but from what I see you guys saying, I'd really like to. Too bad my PS2 hates my games D:

And I agree on everyone with the Symphonia characters. Although it is definitely mt favorite one, I think it could have done without Regal and Presea being main characters, at the least. I really like everyone else though o.o Speaking of Symphonia, I think it was about 3 years ago this month that I started playing it. *runs off to play it again* xD;

ALSO! Thank you so much for sharing the new theme, BinaryPeaches! *puts it onto ipod* Nana Mizuki is so talented ^^

I defeated Symphonia for the first time today.

It felt like Mithos should have ended as "And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids!"... but it didn't. How unfortunate.

Has Tales of Graces been announced for localization yet? I'm gonna be sad if it won't be... :(

I'm hoping for Graces to get a UK release, according to the Tales of Wiki, a trademark for Graces has been filed in Europe, so any Europeans who want it (like me) may be getting it.
I'm unsure about the US though.
Also, I'd like an Asbel Lhant Banner made, please.

Wow, it's been a while. Haven't been on PC in a couple of months, let alone this thread. xD

Speaking of cosplay, guess who actually cosplayed Noishe? I was also Aster from ToS2 over the summer at this one con, but that didn't go over so well. xD Couldn't make the boots in time.

I can't even remember what Asters boots looked like, speaking of which, I've reached chapter 8 of DOTNW...I'm still confused.

Can someone tell me how the CC (Chain Capacity) system works, I've tried reading about it on other sites but it makes little sense.

Ok, that makes more sense, thanks.

I completed Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World yesterday.
And because I own the PAL version, I unlocked Gallery mode, I can view every Skit and piece of artwork, here's something, in the original concept art for Marta, she was originally supposed to be a goth, and Emil was to have more armour-ish type clothing.
