    The Tao Dragons are the trio of Unova's resident legendary mascots - Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem. The trio are based on the concept of yin (Zekrom), yang (Reshiram) and wuji (Kyurem), and are the remains of a dragon that split. Reshiram and Zekrom recognize two trainers as their heroes, while Kyurem can absorb one of the other two to gain new powers.

    What do you think of these legendaries, and who was your fave of the three?
     
    My fave is actually all three, because I had an actual experience using them with the games during the generation. I had Reshiram in Black, and both Zekrom and Kyurem in Black 2, so it gave me time to appreciate all of them collectively as a trio.

    Fletch has a good point on Kyurem, with its grey colour tying in with Reshiram's white and Zekrom's black. Looking at the fact that wuji is "absolute zero" shows that its Ice-type makes sense.
     
    This is definitely a cool trio. Upon reveal, I really liked Reshiram the most out of the three. But (even though this is kind of cheating), Black Kyurem is definitely my favorite. It's surprisingly one of my favorite Pokemon of all time. idek.

    But anyway, I really like the thought put into these guys. Their meaning, their purpose, their lore, their fusions in the sequel...to me, I feel like these were the most explored legendaries in the series. They had more thought put into them than most others, from what I've observed.
     
    Zekrom! Electric bias. :'D I wasn't a big fan of these three as a whole but really ended up liking Zekrom after a while, plus it had an awesome signature move. Kyurem though.. design-wise was pretty blegh imo and I don't think its white or black forms made it any better. Very forgettable legendary. =(
     
    It's tough to choose. Definitely out of Zekrom and Reshiram though. Zekrom always was the coolest to me - the best and less controversial design. Reshiram though... look at its shiny. Have you seen anything more regal than that? It makes sense why N is commonly seen with Reshiram - he's the king of Unova and Reshiram is the prince. He's got the royal costume to prove it!

    So... my answer is anything but Kyurem because the people of Lacunosa deserve better.

    Black was the first gen 5 game i played. After defeating the Elite 4, on entering the champion's room, i found N standing by him. He said something to the Alder, and the Alder, in responded to him. Then, N's castle appeared, and staircases from it thurst themselves into the Champ's palace. ...AFTER SOME MINUTES... i was standing in front of N. He summoned his Zakrom. It looked so tough, and i think it would have been almost immposible for my Samurott to defeat this dragon. But, just then, the Light Stone came out of the bag itself, and started drawing aura inside, and then, there was a big flash and then appeared RESHIRAM. It opened its eyes, and looked towards me with its cool blue eyes. It started radiating a blazing aura. Then, the battle began. It first paralyzed Zakrom with Dragon Breath and used one its Fusion Flare (its signature move), and Zakrom was done.
    So, this is the reason Reshiram is my favourite.:-P

    And this is the first time I am afraid of a cartoon-- Kyurem looks so freaky to me.
     
    I never cared for Kyurem much but I love the other two and it's pretty cool how they represent different philosophies. Zekrom is my favorite though because its design is badass and it reminds me of a Metal Gear.
