...maybe not from a competitive standpoint, but still.

...at least Magikarp outclasses Luvdisc?
 
Luvdisc needs to learn DD. And change overall base stat to 700. XD

Well I've got a rather...uhh..."better" discussion topic to suggest. Zoroark and his Illusion ability (you know...the one where he appears as a different pokemon).

How will it be implemented into Shoddy, and how bad will it end up being when people start going "Why the f*** did he just switch in *insert pokemon here*." Prediction bait if you ask me.

Well, I think it might make him less viable depending on how it works. If they program it to where he can appear as any pokemon, then his competitive viability would be shot. Because if it appears as like, a Sandslash in an OU match, everyone is going to know its Zoroark. But if they do it where it can only change to a pokemon from said tier, it should be less obvious. But, the Stealth Rock damage would still give it away if it appears as like a Togekiss or something.

I think.. that no matter what they do, if he changes into anything that happens to not be neutral to SR (which happens to be a lot of things) he'll be given away.
 
I'm kind of the slow one here at PC lol. It took me over 2 years to finally hit 1,000 posts (yea sad I know lol). I decided to use this post to give a big shoutout to everyone whos been amazing and great to me at PC since I joined 2 years ago.

ABYAY- Probably one of the more friendly people I met when I first joined PC. COME BACK MORE OFTEN

Anti the Great- Not only did you help me get a high A in history (breathing WW1 and WW2 encyclopedia), you also help me out a lot in the way a senior treats a freshman in high school. (yea bad example lol) It's been great knowing you these past two years.

bobandbill- Still has the best fanfic on PC to date, so go check it out! Also thanks for all of the reviews you gave me in my fanfic writing days, it was extremely helpful.

D_A- It pays off to learn from the very best in competitive battling. Thanks a lot for all of the team building help and advice, and just keep on being that amazing British person you are.

Gamer- You're one of my closer friends on PC, so we do talk quite a bit when both of us are on Shoddy. Keep being chill!

Lala- Another really good friend who not only has been around since I joined, but also lives extremely close to me @_________@ we should definitely attempt to hang out sometime lol.

Opposite Day- During Maci's project, you became a fierce rival of mine in gym submissions. Now, we are very good friends as a result.



Yea there's really not much else, but it's been great knowing every single PC member that I know today (well, maybe except thoughts lol! ) Here's to another few years of amazing fun at PC! (and maybe more posts too).
 
Just in case you're not keeping up-to-date on Smogon, Latias recently received the banhammer back to Ubers. Salamence might be soon to follow it too. I would start thinking about changing your teams.
 
At first, I thought Latias going bye-bye would be a good chance for Porygon-Z to re-take the spotlight...Until I realized that without Latias to check, that Infernal Monkey will be running far more then ever before, and no baby's candy will be safe! Grr, I HATE that stupid Infernape!

*Slams fists onto the ground and pulls a temper tantrum*

On mence, however...I hope it doesn't get bumped to Uber, as DD mence is one of the few things Porygon2 still has going for it in the OU metagame.

At least the spike in Heatran usage will help 2 a bit, though it'll hurt any chance of Porygon-Z ever reclaiming it's title in OU...

Mence going to uber is a damn joke.

Love how easy it is to wear down and how people said it owns stall. Wow man i wonder why i always get top 2 at least on the ladders rofl.

People complain about how stall is "really good" and how hard it is to beat, suspect testing of things like that is the exact reason it is. :/ lol
 
Honestly if people don't know how to deal with Mence then they shouldn't be playing competitive pokemon. It's been in the standard metagame forever and if you can't deal with it then "maybe you're just bad."
 
Well all my competitive teams are shot. :/ Fun. Latias is like...my best bulky water counter for a few of my teams. :| I'll just have to find a mediocre replacement that doesn't screw with the synergy of team...Easy Bake...yeah.

I know its pursuit bait, but honestly who cares, when you (can) 2HKO the pursuiter!!

CB Deoxys-A v. Uber Trapper Scizor: 42.2% - 49.8% with Extremespeed. Pretty good chance to 2HKO. I found my new favorite pokemon.

CB Deoxys-A v. Standard Wobb: 58.9% - 69.3% with Extremespeed. A.k.a. Wobb can't switch in and take an attack. Even better with T-Spikes.

I LOVE UBER MONS

Umm lol, you can still use Latias on the standard ladder, and Latias' analysis on Smogon says its OU, so you still have some time to use Latias before saying it goodbye.
