Wait, you mean ingame? That doesn't really have any relevance o_O

darn, I was thinking in game changes, then I realized all that matters in game around here is the battle fronter, breeding, and Ev's.

That looks annoying, I hope I never face one. ;o;

[PokeCommunity.com] the thread that makes France look good

How's my HG/SS team looking >=]
Gotta love that fact that of all Pokemon to name DA after, it had to be Bellsprout lol.

Anyways, DD Crawdaunt never worked for me recently (kind of suspected that though). However, in UU it's decent. ;o

Not to change the subject (which means I'm about to do that), but I found this interesting...

Anyway, after a chat on IRC, we've decided to test Garchomp in Stage 3-2 as soon as Doug is available and can restart the server. I look forward to the completion of another round, and as always, implore the rest of you who have posting privileges in this forum to use them as soon as you deem it necessary to avoid unnecessary delays to changes on pokémon policy

Does that mean that Garchomp will be added in with Manaphy and Latias? I don't really know what Stage 3-2 so I am asking you. Assuming it does (which may or may not be a fair assumption), what are your thoughts on it? When Stage 3 started, I was still in the middle of my long break from battling. With Garchomp, I'll have an incentive to play mostly to see how good Garchomp is. With only Latias and Manaphy, it's basically OU but more centralized around the suspects and with Manaphy. Garchomp makes things much more interesting, and I'll be sure to play on the suspect ladder once it gets up if Garchomp is in fact going to be tested (it's probably really obvious in the text but I'm sooo tired lol). I'm sure not going to hold on to my previous opinion of OU since the metagame has changed a lot.

Garchomp is so cool lol

I never thought I would live to see the day, last time I heard you talk about garchomp you gave me a hour long lecture on why it should placed in ubers.
And get some sleep

Hahaha, my period of splendid vacillation. It's a shame you missed the time when I realized that the evidence was a tad shaky and that Garchomp isn't really that hard to stop lol. But of course, times have changed, so I'm going to keep an open mind. And I already built my team, lol.

Garchomp is really cool though

No i remember that period I was just silent during it, I have constantly supported its remaining in OU its just the natural progression of the meta game, that it will adapt around it, like I'm not sure if you remember me saying that meta game would slow down, and stall would be come a valid possibility for a team ;), and you made fun of that statement for four days straight, for thinking that the efficiency of checks and the offensive meta game would every decrease in usage.

4 scarf mence !lol

Anyways im really looking forward to this, i wish people would stop theorymoning about garchomp though and i still see people doing it and its irritating. I mean what stops it in practice is very different that what stops things in theory.

On pe2k server someone said that mence was uber because the new mixmence has no counters (lol) and when i brought up checks, SR, Pursuit (No really, if you switch into a draco Tar CAN Pursuit since eq doesnt ko ive done it several times lol), Outrage/Draco Luring with steels, Scarfers, Priority and everything else they still think "counters" are relevant rofl !

Ill definately be playing suspect though.

You know, for all the complaining that like, a majority of PC battlers did when Chompy was around, he really isn't that hard to stop. Granted, it was annoying for me, because even when I realized that, I noticed everyone just HAD to have a Garchomp counter specifically on their team, because EVERY n00bskillet in the book was carrying one (a lot of which weren't properly trained on wifi or set up correctly on shoddy. Lawl.)

But now I see, isn't that the point, to have a team comprised of counters for other teams? Oh my God, did Pokémon training just make sense rit thar? So basically...not that afraid of Chompy no more. Hahaha. Let us know how the suspecting goes. :S

I don't see why people aren't complaining about Salamence or Scizor, who are just as metagame-centralizing as Garchomp was when he was OU =/

Bring on the testing, I'd love to see him brought back down.

At the height of Garchomps reign Garchomp could be found on 86% of teams on smogon's server, the average player was running at least one Pokemon as a dedicated Garchomp counter/check/revenge killer, and at least one more that could revenge kill it. Salamence and Scizor are no where near that point yet, sure you need to watch your behind, but it keeps you jumpy, and 30% of your team isn't dedicated to stopping it.

A few Ice Beams miss due to Sand Veil and people are bound to over-exaggerate, lol ;x

God damn effing Cole and his Garchomp sdkjaflksjfaljk

...Like that. Heh. I'm intrigued to provide my team with a nifty counter to him now with all these new fancy Platinum/HGSS moves in place. Sand Veil my left buttock.

Lol....Left Buttock. You're a funny one ^__^

I'm sure with all these Latias running around he'll be much easier to deal with.
