Wow UltimateFail, you just failed lol. You're gonna have to hack Ampharos in in the beginning anyway, as Mareep won't evolve without the Nat'l Dex, and if you activate it you can't fight the Elite 4.

Anyways I had completely forgotten about this challenge so just cancel it because I am trying to get into competitive battling and won't have time for it.

Hey guys I want to enter, already did the first part today on Red. Ultimate Challenge with Blastoise, Arcanine and Rhydon/Rhyperior(Platinum). Beat the E4+Moron(Rival lol) with:
Primo (Blastoise) lvl 64: Submission, Ice Beam, Surf, Body Slam
Secundo (Arcanine) lvl 53: Fire Blast, Take Down, Agility, Flamethrower
Tremo (Rhydon): Earthquake, Rock Slide, Take Down, Horn Drill(missed 4x in a row vs Dragonite gar!)

I'll upload screenshots/my vids when I get the chance, it's nearly 1am here so I'm off to bed. Please enter me into the list of challengers for Ultimate completed challengers for just Red Trio Species.

EDIT: Actually guys, this team sorta bores me. Just doing it as a Trio species for Red version, will be choosing a different team to do this later, as soon as I complete some other challenges. Also, if anyone wants to know a good emulator for the first 2 gens, LAMEBOY.nds is great to play on R4 or the like, speed up is 2-3 times faster. Only thing is no gamesharking possible, so maybe do that part on the computer. I always found that VBA just goes TOO fast for me to properly enjoy.

I went and defeated Team Galactic at the lakes and beat the Snowpoint Gym. I then beat Team Galactic at the headquarters and then went and defeated them again at Spear Pillar and the Distortion World. I then beat the Sunyshore Gym and went to and through Victory Road. I then beat my rival and challenged the Pokemon League.

Beat Lt Surge with Slash, which crit like 19 out of 20 times xD
Caught Onix.

Beat Koga with Onix' Dig.
Went catching a Magnemite which I grinded up to evolve it and find out it can't learn Tri-attack -.-

Went from Solaceon Town to Celestic Town:

Spoiler:

- Left Solaceon and went to Veilstone City. Taught Defog to Edgar.
- Fought Maylene:

Biff took out Meditite and Lucario with Revenge, and Fangor took care of Machoke.

- After taking care of Dawn's Pokedex and getting Fly (for Edgar), I headed down to Pastoria City.
- Outside the gym, Barry showed up.

Grotle was the only one to put up a fight against Fangor. She swept with Ice Fang and Return.

- In the gym, Crasher Wake was my next victim.

After Fangor went down, Biff finished up against Floatzel.

- Plot time, BOOM!
- Chased the Grunt to the Lake and beat him, then Cynthia gave me the SecretPotion.
- Healed the Psyduck, got the Old Charm, then headed to Celestic Town.
- Arrived, beat the bomb-toting Grunt, then went inside the cave.
- Cyrus showed up. He has the best battle music by far.

Wasn't too hard. Biff took down Sneasal and Golbat, and after he went down to Murkrow's Drill Peck, Fangor finished up.

I am saved in Celestic Town. Next is to beat the Hearthome-Pastoria Route, then head to Canalave City. I will evolve Biff and Royal shortly as well.

Final Update for Ultimate Trio-Species Challenge!

Final Update on Platinum! Finished the Ultimate Trio-Species Challenge with Gengar, Machamp, and Gyarados!

Went from Sunnyshore City through Victory Road to the Pokemon League.

Spoiler:

• After making it through Victory Road with nary a problem, Barry wanted to fight.
  
  
  
  
  Sweep by Fangor, who set up Dragon Dance on Staraptor, then OHKOed everyone mostly with Waterfall, taking damage from Leaf Storm while using Avalanche on Torterra.
  
  
• Then it was time for the final Pokemon League challenge.
  
  
  
  
  Sweep with Fangor, who set up Dragon Dance on Yanmega, then swept with Waterfall.
  
  
  
  
  
  Biff swept with Ice Punch and a couple DynamicPunches for Rhyperior and Golem.
  
  
  
  
  
  Led with Royal, who fell to a Dark Pulse from Houndoom and an Overheat from Flareon. Fangor stepped in and swept the rest away with Waterfall, only taking damage from Infernape's ThunderPunch.
  
  
  
  
  
  Royal finally got some action here, but after taking down Mr. Mime and Espeon, fell to Alakazam's faster Psychic. Fangor took down Alakazam and Gallade before falling to Bronzong, and Biff finished the fight with DynamicPunch.
  
  
  
  
  
  This took a couple tries, but Royal took out Spiritomb with 2 Thunderbolts, then switched to Fangor, who set up a couple Dragon Dances on Milotic before beating Milotic with Return, Togekiss with Waterfall, then fell to Lucario's Stone Edge. Royal finished off Lucario, then fell to Roserade's Extrasensory. Biff came on and OHKOed with Ice Punch. Garchomp was sent out, and after surviving an Earthquake, Biff OHKOed him with Ice Puch to win the battle!

Sinnoh MVP: Fangor. She was always able to compete against all the gyms except for the last one.
Pokemon League MVP: Fangor. Dragon Dance was amazing here when combined with Waterfall.
Ultimate MVP: Fangor. Always consistently good, she/he was able to take on almost everyone in the Leagues, which puts her/him over the top.
