Pfft I feel that when I do make longer posts in mafia they end up being didactic anyways, so sign me up

I say an announcement should be made when the 'newbie Mafia' is set up. This gives a good assist to pull in new people, because I don't see people being active on here when they find it to complicated to join one of the 'advanced' games.

Newbie mafia should be showing up tomorrow.

Oh, so soon

Can't wait to see newbies playing with their new guns when they become mafia haha. :P

Shut up your first forum mafia is F&L you're no different than those newbies

Ngl I'm actually quite excited to introduce new people into the diverse entertainment source that is mafia :3

Well a common tactic for a mafia to appear not suspicious is by posting a lot. They try to add more to the discussion, moreso if people are already aiming at an innocent's head, or just jump on the innocent's bandwagon.

...Or post a lot but add almost nothing towards the discussion. Or Fox's case, keep on boasting about gimmepie's death to the point that people think he's just a crazed lunatic and not the head of the mafia lol.

Most of the time the mafia tends to stay quiet though. Well, by keeping quiet for most of the game, I'm already adding you to the suspicious list. I don't exactly know in the case of an unaligned role though.

All in all the most suspicious people are usually the most quiet ones. We can't really attest for forum mafias though, but yeah.

Suddenly being overly defensive when people are starting to point fingers at you is pretty much a giveaway that you're definitely not part of the innocents.

I don't know about that myself. I mean, nobody wants to get lynched on day one. Nobody wants to get lynched at all really.

No, I mean like being defensive is one thing and we all can agree that it's not fun to get lynched, but suddenly being really defensive towards all the evidence provided against you is something else.

Plus, day one is all about random lynches, unless somehow the investigator managed to nail on a suspect on night zero.

Both being really talkative and silent can get suspicious. I think the best tactic as mafia is to make it look like you contribute to the discussion but actually only follow the flow and eventually bend it a little.

There's no one tactic fits all when it comes to mafia, that's why I love playing it because every session, regardless if the roles are the same, is unique. I have played enough mafia and ToS to know that being mafia has nothing to do with being vocal or lack thereof. x3

I've just had a thought. If Gunner and I going to be like "coaches" maybe it would be best if we were on different teams? Then one of us can guide the innocents and one can guide the mafia. That's just a thought, and you could still RNG the regular players, and toss a coin to decide where Gunner and I go, so it remains random.

Alrighty then. T'was just a thought ^-^ When do you plan on starting said Mafia btw?

PC GT Mafia? How long will it last though? Hmm...?
